I travel for work and I’ve gone to so many different Planet Fitness locations. I felt sorry for the members and locals of Seguin, Texas. The massage chairs and hydro-beds were so outdated. I mean so very old, the guy upfront put coins in the massage chair. That chair was so uncomfortable I couldn’t bear it anymore, I called him over to help me get out of it quickly possible because he couldn’t stop it. I’m giving a 3 star only because the staff member was so nice and kept apologizing for the discomfort I experience. Please upgrade your Black Card Spa.

I dont like paying $30 a month for hair in the shower and toilet paper on the floor for multiple days i come in. Never using those again. Lots of people dont wipe down equipment and are pretty loud n rude. My fault for picking the gym but oh well (the black card membership says its 24 (including taxes) but its 27 fyi. I was late to make a payment and they put me in the negatives snd never returned it, charged me double on top of that too. Theres a late fee no one warns you about and it cost the same as the membership.

I have had great experiences with planet fitness. However, My fiancé and I started going here a few weeks ago due to moving. The guy with the longer hair is extremely rude. He doesn’t look up from his phone to check you in.

My fiancé forgot his phone one of the days and instead of trying to help my fiancé sign in, he yelled at us. I ended up having to call another planet fitness location to help sign my fiancé in so he’d stop yelling at us. I hate to cancel our memberships over one bad apple. His daily remarks are not appropriate. This guy shouldn’t be allowed to work in customer service.

Good atmosphere and decent equipment for the price. My biggest complaint is that when equipment goes down, there's seemingly no rush to fix it. The (only) water dispenser has been down for over a month! I go through at least 4 bottles of water during my workouts, and now have to go to the bathroom to refill with warm sink water. At least a dozen other gym members have also expressed to me their frustration at the staff's lack of concern over fixing it. What other gym doesn't have a functioning water dispenser!?Unacceptable. The replacement has been sitting in the back (by the tanning beds) for over a week now. When asking staff (at least weekly), they indicate that it's out of their hands on a timeframe. Now, one of only two stair climbers is down as well. Come on guys, take some pride in ownership. You're better than that!

I’ve been a Planet Fitness member for years, going almost daily. I’ve always appreciated the philosophy of being a “Judgement Free Zone,” but recent experiences have made me feel that this principle is not being upheld.

When my wife signed up, our 7-year-old son needed to use the restroom during the process. The manager told us he couldn’t use it because he was under 14. We understood and walked to another store so he could go. But the next day, we saw a child around 9 years old using a treadmill with his father, and on another occasion, my wife saw another child doing the same. This made us feel that the rules are applied selectively.

Today, I went to the gym as usual, but I didn’t have my wallet because I was running. I asked to check in using my phone number, which shows my photo and account info. The manager told me that even with that, I needed to present my ID due to a new rule. He said, “I’m the manager.” I went home to get my ID, but I decided to cancel my membership instead. I feel that we’ve been treated differently and that our experience as customers has been made unnecessarily difficult.

To Planet Fitness leadership: you promote a great philosophy and likely spend millions on advertising, but one employee can undermine all that effort. Good luck—and to the manager, I suggest reviewing the core values of Planet Fitness.

I really enjoyed coming pre-covid as it was opened 24hrs. Now I find it difficult to go and enjoy as going in early at 3am worked for me as I was able to work out before work. After work it's always busy with lots of people on their phones taking pics or on social media. I like going in and getting my workout done without waiting for a machine to come available

The only thing I don’t like during the summer is that they allow high schoolers to use the gym. Some don’t use the equipment as intended and play around. Some also don’t show up in proper clothing like sandals and crocs.

Equipment is in top shape. Always clean and staff is very helpful and informative. Even when it’s busy, there’s still always something to do. I recently started working in town and was looking forward to being close to the gym. However, when I arrived btw 5:45 - 6 pm, I found it to be extremely crowded and confusing. The gym equipment had been rearranged, with all the machines clustered together on the main floor, which made it feel quite cramped. Additionally, the 30-minute machines had been removed from their designated area and added to the congestion on the main floor.

Given the growth in Seguin, I believe Planet Fitness may need either a larger facility or a better layout to accommodate the increasing number of members. It’s frustrating not to be able to get a workout in due to the high demand for equipment. I’m seriously considering canceling my membership after being a member for over three years.

This gym stalk me by making 4 logins into my account in one week after I made a complaint with the corporate office. I did not leave my name, phone number or I wanted to be contacted when I left my voice message. My privacy was violated when the district manager hunt me down, searched my account and tried to call me. When he failed, he made a more aggressive stalking attempt by email. I told a mexican kid he was not allowed to take pictures of himself in the locker room. It was against Planet Fitness policy. He argued with me. I showed him a copy of the policy on my phone. He texts his father, who comes in the locker room intentionally bumps into me. They leave. About 10 minutes later, I walked up to the counter and told the staff they needed to review their photo policy that I saw someone taking photos in the locker room, and I felt uncomfortable. The boy and his dad were waiting outside the front door to see me come up to the counter, and they walked in, starting a confrontation. He gets aggressive, and I said, call the police. The Police and staff did nothing. Some ASM showed up, and he was clueless about the photo policy, and a woman took a photo of a transgender who got her membership revoked. He was clueless about the backlash of this, and many people have canceled their memberships, causing Planet Fitness to raise their membership fees by $5 a month.

I've uploaded Planet Fitness photo video policy they ignored. This PF partners franchise gym is prejudiced to people who are not DEI. They either won't make eye contact and say hello when you check in or they look at you with an angry, disgusted glance and look the other way.

The Seguin gym is very accessible and has the variety of equipment I need. I have been very impressed by Lauren, the trainer, who has helped me make a plan to reach my goals. Will at 1st i was not thrill of what i was getting into since i have a spasms issue going on almost 3yrs so my 1st time there we talk about the gym equipment they have so after that part we talk about what me wanted to do in my workout so i told them about my spasms back issue so we work out a program for my back issue it was stretching so they have some stretching machine i can use my other gym i been going there about 3yrs didnt have those machine so to me its much better i can feel the difference,,, Mayb i can walk soon wont get to the full 3yrs of not walking soon cause i am at 2yrs 9months,,, so my other gym didnt have this stretching machine like planet fitness has so me is feeling super happy about this program not only that they got so much machine that if Ur in one of the machine U can scan it from yur phone it will give U the name of the machine plus a short viedo of how it is use everything is so cool including the people that work there setting me up with the program for me 2be able to walk soon again will take some time but i think it might be all good this time,,,,

I remember one particular visit to the Planet Fitness location in Seguin, Texas that left a lasting impression on me. I proceeded to scan my membership card and entered the spacious and well-lit gym floor. The atmosphere was vibrant, with upbeat music playing in the background and the sound of weights clanking. What struck me immediately was the diverse range of people working out, from beginners to fitness enthusiasts. It created a welcoming and non-intimidating environment.

I headed over to the cardio section to begin my workout. The gym had an impressive selection of treadmills, ellipticals, and stationary bikes, all in excellent condition. As I started my run on the treadmill, I noticed the gym's cleanliness and organization. The equipment was well-maintained, and there were cleaning stations strategically placed throughout the gym for members to wipe down the machines after use.

What stood out the most during my time at Planet Fitness was the friendly and supportive atmosphere. As I pushed myself through my workout, I couldn't help but notice other gym-goers encouraging and motivating each other. Whether it was a high-five, a simple nod of acknowledgment, or words of encouragement, the sense of camaraderie was palpable.

During my workout, I felt supported by the community and the gym staff. If I had any questions about equipment usage or needed assistance, there were always knowledgeable staff members readily available to help. Their willingness to provide guidance and support contributed to a positive experience.

After completing my cardio session, I made my way to the weightlifting area. I was pleasantly surprised to find a wide array of free weights and resistance machines. Despite the gym being moderately crowded, there was ample space for everyone to comfortably work out without feeling cramped.

As I wrapped up my final set of exercises, I noticed a hydromassage station near the locker rooms. Eager to relax and rejuvenate my muscles, I decided to give it a try. The hydromassage was incredibly soothing, with powerful jets targeting specific muscle groups. It was the perfect way to wind down and recover from my workout.

Overall, my experience at the Planet Fitness location in Seguin, Texas was exceptional. The welcoming and supportive environment, well-maintained equipment, and friendly staff created an enjoyable workout atmosphere. It left me feeling motivated, energized, and excited to return for future workouts.

I love this gym could easily be a 5 star. I think the location was meant to serve a much smaller membership base. It’s so hard to get a rack or bench here. I can go an entire 1 hour work out and still not get one. I wish they would expand into some where a little bigger. The dumbells stop at 65lbs. There’s only 3 smith machines, and 5 benches. Be flexible on what you’re working out is going to be.

Good, cheap gym. No frills but clean and well-appointed. A few athlete types, some lifters, some casual treadmill walkers, and lots of wanderers just there to go to the gym. The machines are maintained, the locker room is nice (I only visited the one, for what may seem like obvious reasons). The Google busy stats are accurate, although their, "busy," really isn't. $20 a month lets you go nationwide, which is nice if you travel. Not 24h since COVID but it's always open when I want to go. This has to be one of the worst PF clubs that Ive been too. Let's start with the staff as you walk in..
Every morning I walk in they're usually head down glued to their phones.
I've never once seen them out checking paper towel dispensers or out cleaning like I see at other PF clubs.
I've also seen reviews saying the club is clean... I'm not sure what their definition of clean is but this place is nasty. Everything has a layer of dust on it like it hasn't been cleaned in months.
Regarding the equipment and layout, it's horrible. For the size of Seguin, this place is far too small. The equipment is packed in so tight you're literally bumping shoulders with other while you're working out.
All in all I was very dissatisfied with this gym.
