Today marks my 3 month mark of going here 3 days a week. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful! The variety of machines and weights to use is wonderful. I will continue going here to help in my weight loss journey and my journey to get into shape. I feel so much better than I did when I started back 3 months ago! I don't need loud, crowded gyms. I love working out without it being a fashion show like several gyms in my area!

Whoever this employee is working today Friday August 22 2025 at 11:30pm is rude and needs to work on his customer service. I miss the other gentleman that worked the night shift I know one of the nice guys was named Victor. Whoever this gentleman is terrible and I hope he switches jobs to another planet fitness far away from here. If he hates people so much why does he work on the front desk. He is accusatory and didnโt believe I was a paying member until I showed him my working app and asked if I checked in. No I didnโt sneak in, also heโs never in the front of the counter and god help you if you want to use the massage chairs. He acts like using the massage chairs is coming out of his paycheck.

But other than that it's a great gym, clean, everything works, the people are nice and the locker rooms are clean. This gym has gotten much better over the last year.
I wish y'all would get rid of some of the bikes and elliptical machines and add some of the new weights y'all have at other locations.

the experience I had with management today was far from professional and I'm extremely disappointed with the way I was treated this this morning .If i could rate this location 0 stars i would i spoke with this young men (conner) about my membership but he was super rude about it screaming at me please check your employees remember its customer service. Iโve been a Planet Fitness member for over a year but have never used the facility even once. Recently, I visited the gym to cancel my membership and request a refund for both the annual and monthly fees. However, I was told that refunds are not part of the policy. I was never made aware of this policy, and given that I havenโt used any of the gymโs services, I donโt understand why a refund canโt be issued.

Tonight my wife and I where helped my Micheal after a small mishap with an air pod on the stairmaster. He came and was very helpful with removing the side panels of the equipment and helped us get the airpod. He was awesome! This location is always clean and fully stocked on spray and paper towels and the bathrooms are always clean. One of our favorite locations thanks again Micheal!!

The vibe is definitely different at this location. The guy that helped me switch my home club yesterday to sugar creek was helpful and enthusiastic. As someone who used to work customer service for ten years I can definitely appreciate this! People need to stop supporting companies like this. The entire operation is effectively a bait-and-switch, and they are infamously unethical when it comes to canceling your membership, so much so that it's become a meme online. Unless you're unemployed and go during midday it's always overcrowded, you will almost never get access to most of the equipment without long waits, and the "amenities" like tanning beds and massage chairs are either always in use or filthy at pretty much every location that I've been to. You *might* be able to work out efficiently if all you do is treadmill cardio, other than that, you would be MUCH better off at Golds Gym, etc.
Then they make it as inconvenient to cancel as possible, requiring you to jump through hoops and inconvenience yourself just to do what you can do with a click of a mouse button for every other subscription service in your life. Trash company with a trash business model.

First of all let me make it clear that there gym itself is fine, no complaints in regards their facility. It is kept clean, equipments work well, and is not too crowded.
My complaint is in regards their cancellation procedures.
They make it much harder than necessary to cancel your membership.
Your options are to go in-person to the location you enrolled. This option is not practical if you move out of town, hence the cancellation.
The second option is for you to write a PHYSICAL letter. Who writes letters these days? Then you have to hold it is received, which you wonโt know until weeks later.
Why not allow cancellation over phone, or via email, or through the app?

As much as the gentlemen who attended me said the location is good, the atmosphere is quiet, and the place is clean, but what I like about a gym is the flexibility which this place does not have. And what I can say about this place is that they did not take the initiative to show us the place, despite that I checked the place myself. Consequently, it is a gym mostly made up of cardio machines, which is good, there is space and variety, but it lacks equipment for dumbbells, bars and weight plates. There are only machines and there is no place to do free weights, in addition to that people monopolize the machines and do not share until they finish after one 1 of hoarding the machines, there are no leg machines and the ones that are there are people They sleep and stay until they end up on the same machine and don't share, and despite politely asking permission to use it, they say yes and continue hoarding it. Personally, I didn't like the gym nor was its atmosphere heavy. Because of that, the level of dissatisfaction was such that I experienced today, Saturday, May 11, I paid for the membership and canceled it the same day. Also they do not give refunds.

This location is hitting the one-year mark. It's still being kept clean, and the front desk staff are generally friendly, but we're starting to see equipment staying out of order for weeks at a time. There are other machines that can still be used but have broken parts (like seats that won't stay locked in place or broken hydraulics). We reported these months ago but nothing happened.

The layout of this gym is wired. It has so much space but they donโt use it to its full potential. For instance, the dumbbell section is small it has only three big mirrors while other planets fitness have four big mirrors. The stretching section doesnโt have much space to stretch if you are the type to do it against the wall.

Turns out none of the attendants wanna do their job and discourage patrons from slamming weights constantly. Theyโd rather be on their phones and make excuses when asked repeatedly to use the lunk alarm when people are being obnoxious. I was advised to come later at night or not at all so Iโll go with the latter. Iโm assuming the attitude is top down so they donโt care as long as they donโt have to hear the noise.

If a Gym/fitness center doesn't accept credit card for payment, thats a red flag. Credit cards usually favour the cardholder in a dispute, and some gyms, like Planet Fitness, in my personal experience, will still attempt to charge you after you've cancelled or told them you will not be renewing the contract.
They could not accept credit card in order to make this harder to cancel (planetfitness will ask for your bank account details directly, huge red flag), or in some cases can no longer accept credit cards due to too many disputes against them.
You should instead look for a local run gym or any gym that does accept credit card.
