This place has so much potential but bellmead is so much nicer and that is beyond crazy!!!! Anyone in Waco knows that, so get it together. Clean the tanning beds or put new ones in. I would love to have a hybrid out here Because that thing's amazing. The tanning beds are crusty, there's dirt underneath it. You feel like you're laying on the beach literally And that's not a good thing.As far as equipment and staff that is great, but they never seem to use the air conditioner at the waco location. THERE IS A LOT OF ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT.

This location is always been well maintained
Very rarely that you see a machine down Or something out of order. Even the regulars rest stack the weights and clean up behind themselves as a workout. Water fountain is always clean along with the showers and locker room’s. They’ve recently Added 4 New bicycles that are awesome.!! Highly recommend!!

I’ve been a member at this planet fitness for about 2 years now and I feel obligated to give it a 5 star review after their recent equipment additions. First off, the staff is very friendly and helpful. There’s constantly someone going around and keeping the gym clean. There’s a really impressive variety of equipment including the recent addition of squat racks with hardwood floors for deadlifts which I’ve never seen in a Planet Fitness; in addition you’ve got some notable machines such as a standing calf raise, glute bridge, and hack squat. In addition the interior is massive, it never feels cramped in there. I’d recommend it in a heartbeat, especially at the $15/month price tag.

This gym has been nothing but frustrating. The building was closed all week, and now that it’s reopened, the restrooms are still out of service. There’s been no clear communication or solutions offered to members. For the amount we’re paying, it’s unacceptable that basic amenities are unavailable for this long.

Aiden enrolled me in their black card membership it was the end of his shift and he was so cool. He made the whole process quick and painless. I'm very grateful to you Aiden. Also Sarah was coming on shift to relieve Aiden and she's funny and smart and Good vibes and bilingual and they were both a lot of fun to talk to while I was getting my membership lined up super great people super great place. Absolute Trash Billing and Service, Called Mid-April before the 25th (Day they want you to cancel month prior for a annual renewal) and was told couldn't cancel, called corporate was told the same. Now all of a sudden corporate lets you cancel over the web. Finally got a document signed in club the next month and was told we would be refunded 2 months worth of membership, instead was billed after the date and was not refunded, Call corporate was referred to Fitness Billing Solutions in Sherwood, AR to handle the refund unfortunately its just a big shell game they can't issue refunds directly and refer you back to the club. Biggest joke & time sink they assume you will just give up over the amount of money (Sub $100) and go away.

I have asked for the owners info and was told it was private, club, corporate & billing company all put the issue off on each other

The showers are NOT being cleaned regularly. There’s hair everywhere in the changing rooms. They are not sweeping, mopping, or nothing on a regular basis.

The showers get very hot, fast. Nice and comfy. Just dirty and there’s no paper towel dispensers in the restroom, only hand blowers so if you need paper towels grab some from the floor lol.

The exercise equipment is phenomenal. I travel a lot and this location has a lot of the extra machines you don’t see in other places. I really like this location. It seems to stay busy even when the crowd meter is one notch but it’s a great facility.

They allow trucking parking as well. Park far away from the building as possible, closer to the street. Semi trucks, it’s best to enter through the entrance directly next to Taco Bell. But be mindful, cars will block you in so workout and leave to avoid being stuck.

This is my favorite location now. Great people running the front desk. Welcoming and great energy. It just needs some tender cleaning care in the restrooms and shower area. Start with a broom first, sheesh.

Facility is in need of maintenance and service. Several machines out of service, no soap in the men's room dispensers, low water on the hydro-massage, and the rap music was not geared to those members not wearing earbuds or headphones. I’ve had no issues with the staff but this club needs some help with equipment. Every time I come in there a different machine has an out of order sign on it and a few of them have been that way for weeks at a a time. I know planet fitness has plenty of spending money so empty your pockets and help out this location. The point of going to the gym is to access equipment you do not own..if that equipment is always down what is the point in me continuing to pay my membership?

I use the treadmill machine every time I go. I like to watch and LISTEN to the various TV shows offered directly across. This has not been possible for a long time. The channels are often not synced to monitors. Many channels are static filled. The volume is usually fixed and can be from inaudible to normal level, with the latter less frequent. Why you ask? There getting new machines in a month. Apparently the longest month known in human history. Not getting what I am paying for. Not happy.

I'm a truck driver. So it's hard to find places to work out. Put this planet fitness accommodated me. I had to park far away. Thank God I came at 5:00 a.m. wasn't too many people there. Just make sure you call before you come in Google maps the parking lot. To see what way to come in truck drivers

When equipment is broke they don't fix it. I was told three weeks ago the one machine was going to be fixed soon. It's still not, and the other one they have is always in use. I have slowly started buying equipment for my house, and only come for very little. When I can't use what I need to it isn't worth the fees. I only come here anymore because I joined the black card and can bring my teen when there is no school. Honestly if the equipment isn't fixed soon I will probably cancel my membership. Tired of wasting my gas to see broken equipment. Then I am paying almost 30 a month for nothing.

We aren’t bothered while we work out at Planet Fitness; which is a big thing because at a gym that I had worked at we had to monitor everyone and interrupt their workouts with how’s your day…etc…while they were exercising. They hated that.

One of my favorite locations, and the atmosphere is good, staff is friendly too, however the one complaint I have is that the women’s locker room for the last couple of days has been quite dirty. There are dirt spots and hair in the shower area on the floors as well as the changing rooms( on the floor, corners and showers) that has been there for at least the last couple of days (same spots, dirt and hair all in the corners) and there is an unclean smell that’s beyond your normal locker room smell, it just smells like it has not been cleaned and sanitized in a while.

I like how you can go in ,work out, and get out. People there are focused ,minding their own business. it's a great place for introverts. I love how I feel energized and feel great after a good workout. Machines are great, but I believe to have a workout routine, the environment/atmosphere is important too.
Plus, staff are constantly cleaning and friendly. If you want to work out or want to change your lifestyle but are a little intimidated, this place will give you a great start.

When the equipment needs to be fixed, repaired, it takes them a long time to fix. Two, it is hot 🔥 in that gym , and at my age my body can't handle hot temperatures. From what I can see they only use one unit to cool the whole gym, even though they have several, they only use the front one. This is the gym on 300 north valley mills dr. WACO

I have been getting charged a $16.24 for several months. I called member services to inquire about the charge. The representative told me it was late fees due to my card on file being set as secondary and not primary. She called the Waco facility and confirmed the staff member apologized and told me that my card had inadvertently and unbeknownst to me been switched to secondary and I didn’t have primary on file. I did not make any changes to my billing information & have had no problems for years prior to this. The member services representative and Waco facility said they both were going to notate my account & that I would need to contact the facility manager to get the refunds issued. I tried calling several times and we even left messages. The manager never reached out to me or resolved the issue.

I go at night. wish other members would clean up after themselves and wipe down equipment they use because it's just so unsanitary.. :/ I feel like I'm cleaning more than working out sometimes..I mean i could deal with that if I had enough paper towels to wipe my machines.. seems like every station is always empty and is never refilled at night.. may end up switching to more kept sanitize 24hr facility... idk if they switched night workers but it use to be great :(

After driving down from Dallas and spending the night in the van, it was time for a workout. No problem here with my Black Card at the scanner, so I spent a bit of time on the Thirty Minute Circuit before hitting the locker room.

Clean, easy and plenty of water. Showers were good and plenty of hot water. I'd love some more shelf in the shower but this was better than some other PFs where there's nothing.

I thought they were open every day. I'm gonna give 24hour fitness a shot.

They might cost a little more, but if they're open when I need them, it's worth it.

The confusion came when I walked into planet fitness and asked if they were open 24/7. I was told yes, so I signed up.

Last night, on Christmas day I tried to go to the gym. They were closed. I checked their website and it said closed on Christmas. I wasn't informed of any closures at anytime when enquiring.

Yes, I could have read the small print in the contract.
But, yes, you should have informed me of the hours.

If I sign up for a 24/7 membership, I expect 24/7 access.
