I got so pissed off that I actually spoke with a lawyer who went over my paperwork and found the loopholes And it turns out y’all don’t owe me $120 because even after I canceled they charged me another month they also owe me $110 from September. So now y’all are gonna have to pay me $230 Since y’all wanted to be cruel.

Absolutely an awful company. No wonder they have lawsuits over their shady billing practices.
I had no set months in my contract, and since I hadn’t paid it for over three months, I thought we had forfeited my membership, since I heard nothing after that. I have been out of work for five months and I thought this was for the best. I ended up borrowing from a dear friend, who cannot lend me any more money for groceries, and maybe a little Thanksgiving as we all know it’s next week.

Not only did they charge me for September’s monthly fee, a late fee, and an annual fee totaling about $85. Which was 85% of my GROCERY budget. I have complained all the way up as far as I can complain and then two days later, they charged me another month's fee and a late fee AFTER MY CANCELLATION.

I’m gonna talk to corporate. I’m gonna talk to Lawyers. I’m talking to everybody cause y’all are not getting away with this. That is absolutely ridiculous and around the holidays really?????

Very happy the new upgrade! There were too many unused treadmills and stair stepper machines, just taking up space. They've removed them and expanded weight resistance area with beautiful, new machines and it's so much better!

Very disappointed about the new upgrade of the gym and new equipment ill try to stay Because is close to my house but really don't like it try to look elsewhere before you enroll. Use to like it a lot but not anymore. And also the hours they said is a 24/5. But really is a 24/4 there hours of operation are Saturday 6am to 9pm, Sunday 6am to 9pm and Monday 4am to 12am.

Maybe time to star looking for a new gym not worth paying for a black membership anymore.

Ehhh, where do I start.. this was my 1st time at this location and as soon as I walked it it smelled musty.. it was very small and all machines were occupied, waiting around for a machine was frustrating.. the black card room was so gross.. smelly, I couldn't finish my massage..

recently new to houston - usually staff is very nice & welcoming, never a complaint. what i’m assuming a manager in a black shirt- was trying to buy a water before leaving , he was very rude & had attitude the whole time i was trying to at least hurry my way out since it was about 20 mins till close but i had left just the one water once i gave him my partner account and was not pulling up , i did not want to stand there and continue to feel uncomfortable by interaction.

I’ve been a member of this Planet Fitness location for a while, and unfortunately, I’ve noticed a decline in the overall environment. Recently, the gym has started allowing in large groups of people arriving in shuttle vans—seemingly from nearby halfway houses. While I understand and support second chances, the experience has become noticeably less comfortable for regular members. The atmosphere often feels overcrowded, and some basic gym etiquette is being overlooked, which detracts from the “Judgement Free Zone” promise. I hope management takes steps to better balance accessibility with maintaining a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for all members

I have been member for this planet fitness club for more than 3 + years never had an issue with my payment never been late this time I was late cause my card on the file was expired and I explained that to on duty manager Kristian I told him I am ready to make a payment only thing I wanted was if they can remove the late payment fee he is like we don’t do that I was like common man you should at least remove it for the first time as a courtesy he said no planet fitness could consider this if you have a member with you who has never been late on payment ever very disappointed matter of fact I will downgrade my membership from black card to regular member ship my card was expired in July 1st I was able to go gym for some reason I went in on July 7 th I was ready to pay them but the guy who was working g there he told me just wait till my manager comes in which was at 10 pm that day I waited for the manager until 10.05 pm guess he never showed up or if he did he was late as per his schedule.
I will not refer anyone to this gym 👎

A Welcoming Gym for Seniors
As a senior who previously belonged to the now-closed YMCA, I was looking for a new gym that was both low-pressure and easy to access. I found exactly that at the Planet Fitness on Eldorado Avenue.

From the moment I joined, the staff was incredibly welcoming. The gym itself is well-organized, with exercise equipment neatly arranged, and enough of the high-demand machines to go around. I've made it a habit to check the crowd meter before I go, and by visiting during off-peak hours, I've consistently found it to be a clean, excellent place to exercise. Even though most of the other patrons are much younger than me, I feel completely comfortable and at ease.

My home gym in Webster has the best trainer. Sunny is very knowledgeable in different areas of work out to help you get the results you want. She's also accommodating and understanding on top of her bright, happy attitude. My friends and I enjoy her classes every time. The front desk team are also very nice. Gabby is nice and friendly, as well as other team members. One of my friends signed up to be a member and the other ones are considering signing up in summer. I would highly recommend this location.

The absolute WORST planet fitness I have ever been to. I have lived in 4 different states in the last 3 years and have been to PF's all around the country and this one is by far the worst I've visited. The staff is incompetent and extremely rude. The manager is very kind but the people she hires are disgraceful.

Some examples: I stood in line waiting to buy a shake for almost 15 minutes because one of the staff members was flirting with a gym goer. (Blonde girl with glasses)
The other girl you could not even PAY her to smile at you or just say "have a nice workout/day". A guy that works there made a very inappropriate and objectifying comment towards me thinking it was funny.

They need to be taught the importance of customer service. You can make someone's day with the smallest amount of kindness and you have no idea what someone is going through outside that gym.

Don't get a membership here unless you want to leave in an awful state of mind. I switched to a different location close by and I leave there feeling elevated every time.

So, as I no longer live in Webster and haven’t for years, I typically come down during the holidays and get a no commitment black card membership while I balance visiting my family here and friends in Dallas. I’ve done this for a couple years now. However, this time I forgot to cancel before flying back to NYC (there’s no PF near me). Now, I’m told when cancelling that I entered a contract (because of course I did, despite having no incentive to do so, and of course “no commitment” is pretty commonly used as a selling point in signing up, as both membership options at this location currently list no commitment but I digress) and am now going to be billed for an ‘early cancellation’ of a 12 month contract that I was only able to use for a month, lol. Okay, it’s one thing to have that policy where you’re only really able to cancel in the gym you signed up which delayed this process for a few months, but this is…new.

Yesterday evening, my daughter and I went to the gym in Webster. Two girls at the reception didn’t greet us very warmly. They asked questions about my daughter’s membership and told us where she could and couldn’t go. I believe they were overstepping their authority. I come to the gym with pleasure and in a good mood, and I don’t want the reception staff to ruin it. Just be more easygoing and smile at your clients.

I've been going for almost 3 weeks now, which equals about 6 visits. Each one has been a positive experience. The environment is active without feeling overcrowded, and I especially enjoy the 30-minute area. My goal is to get 2-3 visits per week, though life doesn't always make that possible. The massage table, massage chair, and stand-up tanning bed are worth the monthly fee on their own, but honestly, you can’t put a price on good health. For just $25 a month, I can fit in a 30-minute or even a 2-hour workout, followed by 10-20 minutes of relaxation. The ability to occasionally bring my wife or daughter as a guest is a fantastic bonus. Here's to 2025 and reaching my goal of losing 25 pounds!

planet fitness allows you to sign up for a membership online, but won’t allow you to cancel it online. this is bad policy and honestly should be illegal coupled with the fact that the annual fee is impossible to get out of if you happen to not be able to make it to your club at a reasonable time. this is a massive con and people should consider this when purchasing a gym membership or do what i’m doing and opt in for a home gym. when i made a comment about it, the girl helping us immediately got defensive, which i understand you have to be in a world full of rude people, but the annual membership is 40$ which is a lot in this terrible economy. have some empathy & understand that planet fitness isn’t even paying you a fair wage so chill girl!! i knew it wasn’t your fault, i was just vocalizing how much it sucked.

This Christopher guy is a liar and a scammer. He would not pause my account for three months and lied he was not going to charge me. I asked to cancel. He said, send me a letter if you want to cancel. I said, okay, what is your email? He would not take my email and said, I need to come in the club or send US mail. I promptly closed my checking account & debit card with my bank. I saw they tried to draw from my closed account and their is a balance. Send me to collections. You did nothing about people breaking the photo video policy which is breaking Texas Penal Code 21:15 when I complained. You cancel people without notice, but, when it comes to a member, you screw them over.

I’m giving this place four stars only because of Bri’s customer service. I recently just cancelled my membership and was given mediocre customer service by Dominic, and a disgusted look by who I believe is the manager. (Hispanic girl with faded red hair)Im going back to my previous gym which was CrossFit Artemis, when I left that gym I was thanked for being apart of their gym for so long and was told that they hoped i dropped in for a workout sometime. I recommend these two take some advice from that.

My experience has been truly exceptional. I’m thrilled to be attending the Webster, Texas location and I’m extremely satisfied. Sunny is my trainer and I can’t express enough how wonderful she is. Sunny offers excellent support and guidance and has a very kind demeanor. What makes me the happiest is knowing that Sunny is the best trainer at the gym. I love PF it’s really more than just a gym! And it’s really the staff that keeps me wanting to come back to the gym even more! Especially gabby I was having a bad day and she asked if I was ok and even listened to my issues and feelings and made me feel better and I had a good workout. I’d give the Planet Fitness location on El Dorado, in Webster, a one-star rating if not for Ms. Dawn’s amazing energy on the overnight weekend shift. I recently began going back to the gym during the day, but was reminded this morning as to why I stopped going to the gym during the day. There is an absolutely TOXIC woman named Gaby who, for some ungodly reason, works the morning shift. She walks in the gym at 5AM with a look of detest on her face. She speaks to no one, smiles at nothing, and disappears into the faculty’s break room for up to an hour—often leaving the counter unmanned for an absurd amount of time. When she returns to the gym floor her energy is unchanged; she stands at the counter asleep or looks at the patrons with a look of pure disgust across her face. The very few times I’ve had the displeasure of speaking to her I’ve left the gym and began shopping around for other facilities. From what I’ve witnessed of her interactions with her coworkers, her almost palpable toxicity is not only reserved for the facility’s patronage.

The other staff members are reasonably pleasant to interact with, but their combined positive energies do not make up for the rancid nature of Gaby. I’m truly considering canceling my membership altogether and driving the additional 10 minutes to the nearest 24 Hour Fitness. No one wants to peel themselves out of the bed, at the buttcrack of dawn, muster up the will to go to the gym, only to be NOT greeted—and then glared at by such an unhappy person. God Bless her coworkers for basting in that negative energy.
