The gym has a verity of equipment and machines for just about every workout. It’s very clean and they always have cleaning supplies ready to wipe down after every use. Shout out to Edry and Robert. Very friendly and welcoming.

This is a good gym only downside is i noticed there is a trend of people that will hog a machine forever, i was trying to use the chest fly cables the only 1 in there and this guy stayed on there doing triceps for 30 min straight and then curls when there are other machines he can use, there should be a 10 or 15 min limit for each
station because it gets so full in there. The staff is super friendly and helpful though no problems there, just some members aren't courteous, we should all be respectful and realize others want to exercise too maybe there should be signs like the ones that say clean equipment that say please allow others to use equipment as soon as you finish or time limit. Doubt this will happen but maybe people will see this and at least be more aware of others

So sad, now that planet fitness is franchising they only allow members to visit another locations 10 times a month! I travel for living so that doesn't help me at all. Why would you pay "black member" when is only partial????

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Planet Fitness. I attempted to cancel my membership multiple times over the phone months ago, but I was repeatedly told I had to come in person. At no point was I informed that I could cancel online through the website.

This has been especially difficult because I am high-risk pregnant and under medical orders to remain on bed rest. On top of that, I have epilepsy and am not cleared to drive. These conditions make it unsafe and unreasonable for me to appear in person, which I clearly explained during my calls. Despite this, I was denied any alternative method to cancel.

When I finally managed to go in person to cancel, I was told I would still be charged for an additional month because the cancellation was not submitted at the start of my billing cycle. This is unfair and feels like a complete failure in customer service.

Planet Fitness failed to properly inform me of my options, failed to provide reasonable assistance after I made multiple attempts to cancel by phone, and is now refusing to refund me for a service I could not use. Forcing a high-risk pregnant woman, who should not be driving or leaving bed, to come in person just to cancel is unacceptable.

I am requesting a full refund for the months I was unable to use the service and immediate termination of my membership without further charges.

Called to speak with management as per reply and Still NO RESOLUTION AND HAVE CONTINUED TO CHARGE WITH FEES

In my personal experience, I went to Planet Fitness for the first time and this worked called Ayla was really really nice and kind, she show me everything and helped me with everything I needed. She also knows spanish so sometimes she was helping me in spanish and I recommend her if you're a spanish speaker like me. I highly recommend if you're new to Planet Fitness

I was nervous going into a gym as an obese 34 year old. My doctor said it was crucial that I start losing weight or I might not live to see my children or grandchildren grow up. I knew it was time to get a gym membership, and thought what place better than the judgment free zone. I walked in, and was greeted by a friendy employee. I scanned my QR code and stood frozen at the desk. I looked in and saw a clear difference between me and everyone else there. My heart was racing, my clothes suddenly weren't covering enough of me. The exit called out to me but then the employee, seeing my astonished expression, said "Hey. You belong." Suddenly all my doubts melted away, I knew what I was there for and thus started my journey to losing 80 pounds. I can now rest easy knowing that my grandkids will grow to know their pop-pop, and it's all thanks to the encouragement of an exemplary employee. She also was always keeping the place clean and would help with exercises. Anyways, would definitely recommend.

Welcoming and helpful staff. Very clean facility and equipment, staff is constantly doing spot cleans throughout the day. Locker room is clean and big enough, plenty of lockers. Clean showers, changing stalls and restrooms. The equipment always works. It may get a little busy in the evening, but you can still put a workout together. I highly recommend. 10/10. Don’t bother coming to this location – front desk doesn’t care about what’s going on inside. On July 18 there was a guy in functional training that was constantly dropping weights for 30 minutes straight. My husband reported that to the front desk and the girl just said “oh okay” and did nothing. Today at around 10:20PM a lady on torso rotary machine was doing the same thing – dropping weights – and later started filming other gym members (including us) without their consent. My husband once again reported this behavior and the guy at the front desk said “oh yeah, we hear that (her dropping weights)” and that’s it, did nothing about the noise and filming. We’re tired of this, not coming to this location ever again

I think it was just a new worker and it has since been addressed. I was worried there would be awkwardness when I decided to return but it’s become welcoming once more. Thank you to the manager and her helping us resolve this situation as well as feel comfortable at our home gym once again.

I’ve been going for 8 months now and usually the staff both here at weslaco and Harlingen is very welcoming. Except Today, I said my usual good morning, and the new staff member had not only a menacing face but was instantly very rude and condescending to my underage daughter whom I decided to bring as my guest.

While I can understand and accept that my daughter needed better workout attire, my problem ultimately falls on the way in which this staff put it across. She spoke to my daughter with such sassy and condescending and plain unnecessary energy from the start. It made my minor daughter cry. Very unnecessary when it could’ve been communicated in a better and more neutral manner. I’m disappointed and disheartened in how it was handled by this new staff member to anyone much less a minor.

Wow, old review. I still enjoy PF, however I do not like that it is too crowded. Parking on Friday nights is insane due to football games across da street. Best time to come is either hella early in da am or midnight and Sundays due to people resting. Upsetting that it is not 24/7 it is 24/5. My rating changed from a 5 to a 3. I prefer da Alamo, TX PF than da Weslaco one.
