I'm 51 yrs old I can't stand big commercial gyms. This place for the most part is a great gym. Not real busy in the early hrs. Plenty of free weights and enough of the right equipment to get the job done. Clean and well maintenance. The only reason I can't give it it 5 stars is the God awful music iv actually walked out. I'm not a ear piece kinda person, for the most part I'll listen to anything. When you come in and there playing 90's RnB and hip hop really makes me question there knowledge of gym music or customer base. This gym caters to an older customer base so I find it hard to believe anybody wants to hear this, especially at 4a.m. in the morning. Iv found that this is a common complaint amongst other members. I hope this can change, because the early crew doesn't wanna hear it

Platinum Fitness is hands-down my favorite gym in all of Texas. I am a gym rat and live in Austin but I specifically look forward to coming down to Rockpor and crushing it at platinum. They’ve got everything perfectly set up: great and clean equipment, awesome old school work out posters, a bad ass disco ball, amazing staff, solid cleanliness, and an overall good vibe. I never have to fight for a bench or a machine and they play great music as well. 10/10

I’ve been a member of this gym for some time now, and I can confidently say it sets the platinum standard for what a fitness facility should be. The space is immaculately maintained and the equipment is consistently clean, organized, and in excellent condition. You can tell there’s real care behind the scenes. RUDE STAFF. Gossip a lot and make false statements regarding guest. Don't work well with discounting Fire EMS Police and other forms of Public Servants .I've met alleast 5 others that the staff was real cocky with. Way overpriced . Typical ignorance.

I met the owner on the first day he showed me around the place really good people all around very respectful environment amazing gym with amazing machine to work out with play basket hit the bags ping pong all that stuff 65$ was kinda crazy in my opinion for a membership but in my honest opinion it's completely worth it considering all the cool stuff they have to help work out your body I give it a 5 stars no complaints here 💯😎💪🔥

I went in just to check the place out. There are a lot of machines and a variety of exercise modes. I asked about classes but was told the instructor had just quit recently, so they aren’t offering any classes right now. The patronage were mostly toned youngsters. The place seemed clean and it was well lit and not too crowded. I personally would not work out here.

I’m a fitness model and pretty much travel and workout at gyms all over the place, and I have to say I am super impressed with this place. It pretty much has everything you need here, whether you’re a body builder or a CrossFit guy. It’s the only place that I will workout at in the Rockport area! They also offer a $10, 24-hour day passes. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Great clean gym with awesome staff and trainers. I saw Austin for a while for training and he is great! There's the main gym, a garage type just outside, and an outside area. I like that you must have a key card to get in.

If I were to have any complaint it would be the lack of showers at this time but I was told by someone (can't recall who)
that their are plans to install them in the future.

I love the many different types of equipment, giving people the ability to work with conventional and unconventional workouts. They have an outside with a hoop and some of those unconventional workout equipment i was talking about. They also have punching bags and speed bags. Overall, this is a great gym. 24 hours, no excuses.

fantastic gym for anyone needing a workout while staying in town for a long weekend. i was doing just that and was stoked to see this gym just 4 blocks away! super clean, open, modern, well equipped. have day passes for just $10. the outdoor space is nice but lacks enough equipment for much oly lifting. benches and racks nice. did not use functional training/boxing space at all but looked nice. main gym space super nice. love the racks and platforms. top brand equipment, plates, accessory gear. a really nice gym and one i would use any time i am in this area. super nice staff as well. very easy to work with before my arrival to get set up.

Was looking for a place to work out while I was in town and found this hidden gem. I called late on a Friday and spoke with Candice (the owner) who told me to just show up and talk to the front desk. Haley got me signed in and within 5 minutes I was working out. This is easily one of the nicest and well equipped gyms I have been in. I absolutely will be returning.
