I have been trying for days to cancel my membership actually a year. I cancelled my membership in 2024 I PAID IN FULL in person spoke to the front desk I even said please cancel it I do not want issues, well here I am in 2025 getting charged and I’m not even in town they keep “taking my information down” to give to a manager who said will call me but have yet to hear from them I’m not writing this review out of malice but desperation to cancel my account and get my money refunded. All I am asking for is a manager to call me to let me know they cancelled my account and give some customer service to someone who paid their company and did the right thing with the cancellation process.

Watch out before you sign a contract if it’s with Jen Moreno read everything or tell them how can I cancel my subscription because after you sign they tell you how it’s for life contract and you can only cancel if it’s signed by the president or governor or if you are no longer living or moved to a different city or country and to prove your living in different city your id has to been changed to a different address but it’s a good clean gym just be careful don’t let them decieve you.

I’ve been a member for a few months and I love it. Top notch equipment, Adult crowd, and always clean. You can get any work out in at any time of day non impeded by the number of people present . Only down side for Me is each sauna use is $15 per use, for someone who wants to use it 4 times a week or so the cost becomes astronomical. To be honest I’ve never even seen anyone walking into or out of them. I’d gladly pay up to $30 a month more in dues to have unlimited use. Maybe consider a flat fee added to the membership dues monthly for access? This would make this facility a 5star facility in my book. Thanks for your consideration. Oh! Please purchase the flaky golds location on Eastlake! 🙏🏽

My colleague and I stopped in El Paso for less than 24 hours. The attendant at the airport said the best gym in town was Powerhouse so we made it a point to get our workout in at this location. To our delight it was a 5 star experience. We bought our day passes ahead of time, came in, signed our waivers and spent two hours exploring. There is a wide variety of well maintained equipment, friendly hospitable staff, and many amenities. We came during Halloween season and were especially amused by the level of spirited decoration. I personally will be coming back to this gym whenever I am in the city and highly recommend it to anyone else in the city looking to get in a cardio, fitness, strength training, body building, powerlifting type workout in. There is also a beautiful cardio, dance, yoga type open studio for group fitness and for practicing posing or just doing personal body work like foam rolling, isometrics, and stretching.

We've been going to this gym for a while now and I love how they're always adding new equipment. They always keep it clean. We've been taking our girls to the Kids Zone and I love how they're so welcoming, my girls love going, they always come out with some craft they made while they were in there. I’ve been at Powerhouse for 5 months now, after coming from years at another gym.
Awesome experience, from the time you walk in and Jen Moreno is there to greet everyone who walks in, by name, with a huge welcoming smile!
There is plenty of quality equipment to choose from, as well as free weights so your workout never stalls waiting for something.
After years of doing my own thing, I chose to try a trainer. Powerhouse set me up with bodybuilder/trainer Evan Robinson. He is super knowledgeable and detailed when explaining things. In 4 1/2 months he taught me enough that I was able to completely shatter the plateau I had been stuck at for years!

For a facility to charge this rate $124 for 1 month it’s disappointing to not have the essentials (offer proper hydration). Fountain water is hot. When I brought it up to staff they said it’s because “too many people use it” I’ve been there when it’s dead and the water is still hot. They didn’t offer a solution. It gets really busy and people don’t clean after themselves

Been a member here since it opened (2 years ago) and I can say it always clean, nothing stays “out of order” for very long. If you are friendly people will be friendly if you keep to yourself people will give you space. It does get busy during popular times but the gym is so big there’s always something to do. The sauna, tanning, and amenities are always clean and convenient. Every class I’ve taken has been challenging in its own aspect and the instructors from what I’ve seen are professional. I started bringing my daughter to kids zone and so far we have had no problems. It’s clean, organized, well equipped, and the workers always seem in a pleasant mood.

I want to thank Jen from Front Desk again.
Two months ago, I signed up for Powerhouse Gym, and Jen was the one who helped me and guided me through the registration process. She was excellent with her guidance.
But after a month and a week of not seeing her because of the time I usually work out, I saw her again, and she remembered me and thanked me for my review. She asked me how I felt and what I thought after a month of going to the gym.
She also helped me again with some questions I had about inviting friends or family to a free workout session so they could get to know the gym. She not only explained the process but also helped me sign up for a rewards program, where you get points for each person you invite. Of course, there's a limit, but you also earn points for your sauna sessions, birthdays, etc.

5 star gym… it’s the only gym in El Paso who covers a gym with a lot of square footage.
There enough machines most likely will never use all of them but potential for growth in your fitness journey.
Even at peak hours theirs enough room and things to do around the gym that is awesome
Market is stocked and full also includes a barber shop, and meal prep place that also offers shakes!

I've been looking for a new a gym for awhile, I was invited by 2 specific ppl instructor & member, I pre-registered for the class a day prior and even spoke to the gentleman about possibly joing after the class. I was sent a waiver the same day & was told my spot was held DEFINITELY for the class. When I showed up the following evening with my friend for the class w/ID & Credit card ready to engage..I was met with Disregard & unprofessionalism...the guy at the counter took my phn number and wouldn't even tell me he pulled my info, proceeded to tell me I wasn't on the class list & I had to wait to see if there was any room available (I drove from Socorro) my friend was in disbelief! He then continued with his rant asking who registered me(idk) and "its the rules" I refused to argue with that clown! I couldn't believe the gym would allow their employees to operate WITHOUT ethics, morals & disrespect when it comes to a potential member. I'll just go to CHUZE!!

Good Gym But kind of expensive And they add $15 A month extra for Hydro massage And Sauna access The part I don’t like is they only have two plans A $49.99 Month Plan That has a 1 year Contract And the second plan is $69.99 with no contract and a $125 Buy out fee if you cancel . And a $49.99 enrollment fee. Or they have $35 day or $65 weekly pass or $125 monthly pass. I got the $125 Month pass so In my opinion it is an average gym.

My experience at Powerhouse is great, especially when you have an amazing trainer like Jessica Delort she really makes every session feel like your training with a friend and she make sure you work out every muscle that you’re training for that in my opinion, I did not know I had I’m so blessed to have her as my trainer

I Just recently visited powerhouse gym on a little vacation I took down to El Paso for my brothers graduation, and I am originally from San Antonio & this gym completely blows all the gyms in San Antonio out of the water . I enjoy the variety of machines they had from arsenal to all the many other brands they had . The atmosphere was great & the staff were amazing . I’d truly love to see powerhouse gym extend out to San Antonio !

After coming from golds gym, my husband and I found powerhouse and total game changer and were glad we found this gym.
