We started our son at Powerhouse Gymnastics for their summer camp and loved it so much that we enrolled him in the Mother’s Day Out program. We also just had his birthday party here, and every single experience has been fantastic! The staff is so kind, welcoming, and they make everything easy for parents. Our son always has a blast, comes home tired (in the best way), and can’t wait to show us everything he’s learned. From everyday programs to special events, Powerhouse Gymnastics is truly wonderful, we’re so glad we found them!

We absolutely LOVE Powerhouse Gymnastics. Both our girls take 2 classes each and love the compassion and positive attitudes their coaches have.
Coach Ivory teaches them both in tumbling and trampoline and he has made amazing progress with both! He is constantly encouraging them to better their technique and push themselves.
Coach Nikki does an amazing job teaching my girls’ artistic class (bars and beams). She is such a positive force in their lives and they look to her as an AMAZING role model.
They have both had amazing classes with Coach Bustos who does a great job of balancing fun while still pushing them to excel!
Coach Tim is an amazing upper level artistic coach who my daughter adores. He has a great way with working with my tiny teenager and getting her to succeed!
We love ALL the staff and coaches at PH Gymnastics!

Don’t recommend TB3’s class. My daughter’s coach had no patience whatever so ever. Second class and she didn’t take the time to show my daughter any of the activities. These young college student “coaches”‘seem to just be there to get paid and not actually teach and give these three year olds a good and fun experience. I wouldn’t recommend this to any of my friends or family! $110 a month for 50 mins class once a week! NO THANKS!

We signed up for this program just a couple of hours ago, but after reviewing the paperwork—including the strict dress code and policies—we quickly realized it would not be a good fit for our child with special needs. We attempted to cancel immediately, well before any classes began, but were met with resistance.
What’s most concerning is that the organization is now demanding sensitive medical documentation about our child in order to even consider a refund. This is incredibly inappropriate and invasive, especially considering that no services have been provided yet.
No family should be pressured to disclose private medical information just to reverse a registration that was made only hours earlier. This experience has been deeply disappointing and has raised serious concerns about how this organization treats families with unique needs.

Both my girls have attended classes at powerhouse for over 3 years now. I am continually amazed with the gymnastics skills they’ve learned in this time. We’ve had experience with many different coaches as my girls have leveled up in the 2 classes they each take.
I love that I’m able to watch from above as they are in class and if I have a question afterwards they’re always willing to answer. Last week I even noticed my younger daughter seemed reluctant on the beam after sliding off a bit and Coach Bustos took her back and patiently worked on the skill between his classes to make sure she ended with a positive.
Both Coach Bustos and Coach Tim have been amazing for my daughters in their Artistic (bars, beams, floor) class. Pushing them to excel while giving them the different support each student needs.
Coach Bustos and Coach Ivory are phenomenal in the TnT (trampoline and tumbling) classes. They have continued to work with both girls as they excel through their levels.
It’s true parking can be bad, but once inside classes are capped at 8 students to a coach and students receive lots of one on one attention from coaches. Coaches differentiate instruction within each class level to help athletes work on their own level.
I would definitely recommend powerhouse for all levels of gymnastics athletes!

Powerhouse MDO was such a huge blessing for both my boys before entering elementary school. They have a good curriculum to get them kinder ready and they balance it out with gym time to shape their skills physically and to get their energy out. More recently, my youngest son went through the program and his coach, coach Isabella was the best! My son loves her and still talks about her even though we don’t go there anymore. She really had the patience with him and he learned so much! I’m beyond grateful for powerhouse MDO!

This gym is extremely overcrowded. I tried it for a couple of months, but there are just too many people both athletes and spectators. There aren’t enough seats to watch your child practice, and parking is a nightmare. The classes are packed with too many children, making it feel chaotic. At times, there are well over 100 athletes practicing at once, leaving the entire gym feeling overcrowded. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Attended a competition at this facility. The inside is nice and restroom was clean. However, it was very expensive to get in and I had to stand the entire time not to mention there is no where to park! Be prepared to be price gouged by another kids sports function. Then the gym scored way higher than the other athletes and honestly did not perform to the same standard. The vault was clearly skewed by the judges for PH. That was obvious!

We just started here and all but the parking seems to be top notch. I can see why the gym would have classes ending at 530/630 and starting at those times as well but the parking lot becomes a huge safety issue. I hope the gym takes time to address this through either putting a break between start and stop times or hiring someone to manage traffic. Kids running all over the parking lot can’t be safe.

enrolled my child into the after school program. the after school program offers “study time” in a small classroom and kids get homework from school done with the help of a classroom teacher. however the classroom teacher raina absolutely sucks! first of all raina keeps her newborn baby inside the classroom in a crib and is more focused on her crying screaming baby rather than the after school kids who’s parents are paying! also my child comes back home with homework still!!! when i ask her why didn’t you get it done at powerhouse with the teacher she says it’s because she can’t even understand raina because of her accent she is no help and useless! i will NOT be enrolling my children for the after school program this year. how unprofessional to take a baby to work with you put that baby in day care!

I enrolled my daughter in the afterschool program at Powerhouse TNT Gymnastics (PTNT) in March 2018, and as she's now about to enter middle school, I've decided to disenroll her. Reflecting on our experience, it's been a journey with its ups and downs, but overall, it's been a pleasant one.
One of the standout positives of PTNT is the genuine care shown by the staff towards all the students in the facility. It's evident that they're committed to creating a nurturing environment for the children under their supervision, which is reassuring as a parent.
However, there have been some organizational issues that I've encountered along the way. One particular frustration was the change in pickup time from 6:30 pm to 6:00 pm during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. While understandable given the circumstances, it was disappointing that this adjustment wasn't reverted when things returned to normal. This change often caused inconvenience for my family, especially when San Antonio traffic became a logistical nightmare, resulting in occasional tardiness in picking up my daughter.
Another aspect worth noting is the limited progress in gymnastics skills that my daughter experienced within the regular afterschool program. It became apparent that significant improvement would require opting for specialized training classes offered by PTNT at an additional cost. This is something to consider for parents expecting substantial skill development within the standard program.
The parking situation at PTNT can be described as chaotic, although it's difficult to solely blame the facility for this issue. Despite complaints about overflowing parking onto public curbsides, which is legal, it's a challenge that seems to persist.
Additionally, there has been a noticeable increase in the monthly fee over the years, initially starting at $285 and now reaching $332 due to inflation and the rising cost of living. Looking ahead, the newly announced price for the 2024-2025 afterschool program at $358 underscores the ongoing financial strain for parents.
In conclusion, my experience with Powerhouse TNT Gymnastics afterschool program has been a mixed bag. While there have been frustrations with organization and scheduling, the genuine care of the staff and the overall positive atmosphere make it a decent choice for families seeking afterschool activities. However, be prepared for potential additional costs and logistical challenges along the way.

We've been going here for years. Unfortunately the coaching is hit or miss. We've had several instructors who spend the entire class on their phones or talking to other coaches. It's really disappointing when they aren't engaged with the kids. If they aren't paying attention the kids aren't getting any feedback so they aren't learning anything. They're also not having any fun if the coach isn't acknowledging them or enthusiastic or remotely interested in what they're doing. We had one instructor who thought he was training future Olympians and literally stepped on my childs legs when she didn't stretch hard enough for him. We quit that class the day of obviously. We've decided to try the one on one classes and stop doing group altogether. It just isn't worth the time or the money at this point. If that doesn't help things we'll be done with powerhouse.
Front desk/receptionist staff is consistently excellent though and I appreciate them. We have had one very good coach out of the four we've seen (not including the subs because they're usually only for a single session so I don't think it's fair to judge someone based off one day).

We love Coach Sierra! My 4 year old just started and she's loving gymnastics and really likes her coach. She's patient with the kids and gets down to their level when they need a push when they're scared or feel like they can't do it. It's only been a few classes and my daughter has gone from being scared to excited, asking me all the time when it's time for gymnastics.

We are so impressed with PH. The kids actually learn new skills and move up when ready. They practice different things each week which keeps the kids interested. We are really happy with Coach Sierra. Our daughter has been on a waitlist to move up and Coach Sierra has her work on a little harder skills while she waits to move classes. I appreciate her recognizing that and not just having my daughter continue on the same skills. We will be sad to move from Coach Sierra but know any coach we get will be great!

Both my girls love Powerhouse!
Coach Ivory teaches both of them tumbling and trampoline. He is super patient and pushes them to succeed. My kids are different and he is able to adjust his teaching style so both succeed.
Coach Nikki is my oldest daughter’s Artistic coach. Georgia loves her. She has a great way of working with the kids. She really makes her want to succeed and advance.
Thank you to both of these amazing coaches for being great trainers!

My daughter has been on the competitive team at Powerhouse for over 3 years now, and the structure, discipline, precision and skills taught are unmatched! Compared to other teams around town, our girls are professional and ready at every meet.
We had the pleasure of having Coach Sierra for two years and Coach Jas for this last year. Both coaches have taught my daughter foundational and key gymnastics skills but also true life skills like discipline, commitment, resilience and work ethic. She has grown in her love for the sport and is ready to take on more!
I recommend Powerhouse for team or simply classes. They are at the top in their industry!

I highly recommend Powerhouse TNT to any parents looking for a fun and safe place for their children to learn gymnastics. My daughter has been going there since she was 3 years old, and she absolutely loves it. She started in the pre-K program, and she has now progressed to the competitive team. The coaches are all experienced and certified, and they are very patient and encouraging with the kids. They create a positive and supportive learning environment, and they help the kids to reach their full potential.
One of the things that my daughter loves most about the gym is the couches. There are always a few couches available for the kids to relax on when they are not practicing. This is a great place for them to socialize with their friends and take a break from the hard work.
I am also very impressed with the gym's safety record. They have a strict safety policy in place, and they make sure that the kids are always supervised. The gym is also well-maintained, and the equipment is always in good condition.
Overall, I am very happy with Powerhouse TNT. I would highly recommend it to any parents looking for a great gymnastics gym for their children.

Coach Alli keeps my 4-year old engaged and looking forward to her class each week!
My only feedback for this business is:
Please get a firm flow of traffic inside the building. It’s always chaotic dropping off or picking up my kids at the entry/exit due to parents and kids leaving out the front door instead of that side door near the restrooms.
If you’re looking for an intimate setting where everyone knows everyone, and you’re greet d by name/family feel-this is NOT it. But it works for our 6&4 year old for now 🙂

Went there when I was younger, learned some pretty basic skills. But I would have a new coach every time I came to practice it was never really the same coach for two to three practices in a row. That kind of messed with me since I learned better with some more than others. Other than that I can’t complain.

BEWARE: THEY LOST MY CHILD, At first glance it looked like they had everything under control but when my daughter was instructed to put on her shoes she wandered to the front door where she had seen her classmate go and just walked right through the front inside door by herself. The coach only had 5 kids under her possession, I don’t believe it’s hard to keep track of just 5 toddlers. I thank the mothers who cared for her until we went to the front. This happen in a span of 3 minutes from when we walked from the second floor to the first, we were waiting for our daughter at the the door by the end of the food bar because that’s where the coach was at. They have no accountability towards their students, I pray nothing bad happens to any of the children under their possession.

I went to Powerhouse gym with my sister and her granddaughter to check it out. The first person I came across was Sarah she was so friendly and encouraging to the kids. My grandniece has always been afraid of the parachute at other places but Sarah told the kids what she was doing and had so much excitement in her voice after telling my sister no like three times she told her grandma she wanted to try it. Then we met Raina who was on the trampoline and explained to the kids they would go to the square start jumping and sing the ABC’s so with confidence once again she ventured out to unfamiliar territory I believe because Raina gave her instructions and was so sweet to all the kids. As we walked out Alicia and Angela both knowledgeable and gave me information times dates and costs which turns out to be half of what we currently spend on a gym with much less equipment and we have been there for 4 months and not once had the wonderful interaction we had today. And it wasn’t because we were checking it out. I paid attention how the staff interacted with other children parents and grandparents. I have 3 granddaughters and I will encourage them to try out Powerhouse thanks.

We just finished observing classes to see whether or not to enroll our 9 year old son. Even before we made it to the observation deck the front desk staff we spoke with were completely clueless about anything. We still decided to go upstairs and watch the class that our son would possibly be in. Again front staff was clueless because all we got was “ I think this or I think that”, there was zero certainty on any questions we asked. We finally figured out what bronze class he would be in by ourselves just by watching. From the start, there wasn’t any structure to the class and it finished with the the male coach with long hair and a female coach (which later found out she was the gym manager) taking the kids to the foam pits. They let the kids attempt to do back flips into the pit from an elevated pad as there were other kids just hanging around in the pit below them. I told my wife that something really bad could happen and sure enough one of the kids does a flip and ends up kicking another kid in the head. The kid grabs his head but neither couch moves to see if he’s okay, after a minute the long haired male coach motions to the kid to come over and then pulls him out of the pit. Save your money and time this is not a safe, structured or serious place to take your kids to learn gymnastics.

My daughter started at age 4. She has really enjoyed her experience so far. The gals have all been helpful at the counter when we have needed anything. Coaches have all been friendly. Some are more structured and helpful with technique than others. Facilities are clean and parents are offered a couple of viewing options.
Areas of improvement: Coach turnover seems high. We've been attending for 6 months and we've had 4 different coaches during this time frame. Limited classes available for homeschool families with older children. I'd love to see a daytime class for my boys to attend during the week. Especially for children with sensory issues. Our class lately, has not started on time, therefore, the girls are missing out on 5+ min of time. Price is a little steep $95/month (4 classes, sometimes 5 if your day lands on an extra week)...seems to be the going price for anything here in San Antonio (we are a military family and have lived in larger cities where prices are not this expensive). No make ups are offered and no refunds, which, I believe encourages parents to send their sick children to the lesson so they don't lose out on the money. Parking is fine during the day hours but I have experienced the evening parking and they need a larger lot.
There are definitely areas for improvement. I hope management will read and evaluate for the future.

They facilities are great, don't book your child for Saturday, as tourneys occurs those days, and your child's scheduled appointment could be canceled. Make up days are non existent, their statement being they only charge you for 4 week months, so months with 5 weeks are considered free or make up weeks. Though they are far and between. Instructors are wonderful in specific classes. Worst issue I had was sending an email of cancelation, which wasn't received for whatever reason, but I was told I would be responsible for paying for a week due to this. Even though 3 children are on the waiting list, parents ready to fill that vacancy. I don't see the ethical approach in this, considering the magnitude of children attending. Disappointing. But, your child will learn very well, and be in a large and ingaging environment non the less.

It's Sunday evening and first time attending a Birthday Party 🎈🎉🎂 for my granddaughter at a gym. The party hosts were hospitable. Very nice and helpful. Reserved from 6 to 8 pm. About One hour and 15 minutes of gymnastics play. Parents can leave their child at the party or stay and observe from the balcony. Towards the end of the gym time, parents can come down to take pictures. Afterward, head to the room where its birthday party 🍕, 🍰, and presents time. The kids had a great time.

My daughter has been going here for 2 years now and although the coaches have been decent, I’m over the parking situation. People are constantly holding up traffic and the one time I sit and wait for a spot because I have my 1 year old with me, I get told to move, causing me to park across a busy street. The only reason we’ve last this long is because we will be leaving San Antonio soon. They really need to look into expanding their lot to accommodate the amount of classes they offer.

Powerhouse is an overwhelmingly large and clean facility with what seems to be an opportunity to grow as an athlete in every corner. This company offers a variety of gymnastics classes (artistic, XCEL, TNT, boys, etc.) for kids of all ages (starting with toddlers - all the way to teenagers). There's also some of the best equipment available here and plenty of it! The staff is friendly and educated, too! We love Powerhouse!

The facility is clean bright and open with very clean bathrooms. It's huuuuuge with multiple floors and tons of equipment. There's a nice coca cola themed snack bar and the coaches aren't a bunch of high schoolers. It also doesn't smell like feet...extra star for that. The viewing area is great with lots of visibility. Great communication as well.

My daughter absolutely loves her coach. It is nice to be in a place where they are actually learning how to master many techniques. So far it is money well spent. However, I wish team was more affordable.

My daughter is enrolled here and she absolutely loves it! In just a month I can see how much better she has gotten and how much more control she has of her body while doing gymnastics. She adores her coach, coach Jasmine! The staff is very friendly. There is an upstairs for seating if parents want to stay to watch over their child, which I personally love. There are snacks and drinks you can purchase. Also, a store with Powerhouse shirts along with other clothing, toys & various items. It’s very clean & professional. Worth the monthly price!

Our whole family LOVES TNT Powerhouse. The staff is so polite and helpful. They are very clean inside and outside the building. They are very professional and they strive to make sure your kids are truly learning something. We love our daughter's coach, Coach Megan. She is so kind and patient and works with her, and the whole class individually, till she (they all) get(s) it. We make sure to tell everyone about this place, when they ask where our daughter goes. Truly the best place to go to learn how to do gymnastics.

This gym is incredible and the coaches are second to none. Our daughter joined the gym during our vacation so she could continue to grow skillset. The gym welcomed her like she was a part of her team and the coaches worked with her like she was one of their own. Their generosity speaks to the integrity of the gym. Now, my daughter wants to move here and be coached by Coach Carlos! Thank you all for an amazing day experience!

My daughter has been attending Powerhouse since we moved here 9 years ago. She was in 1st grade when she started a beginner artistic class, and is now a level 9 gymnast...and a coach at Powerhouse. She has developed friendships that will last a lifetime, confidence that is rare in teenaged girls, amazing relationships with all of her coaches and a passion for the sport. This place is a second home for my daughter, my son and myself and the owners are among the most caring, genuine people I know.

I absolutely love everything about powerhouse gymnastics. My daughter has been going to powerhouse and she was two years old and it's been nothing short of a wonderful experience. The staff are so friendly and they genuinely care about every kid that comes in the gym and treat them like their their own. I will tell everybody who's interested in gymnastics to go to powerhouse because of the quality of service and also quality of coaching they provide to all of the children. We had been going there since they were in their old location and now seeing their new location it's just breathtaking. They have the best equipment and best coaches in San Antonio.

My daughter,10 and son, 4 go to Powerhouse and they love it. My daughter is on the girls gymnastics team and she has amazing coaches who show they care and are loving. She has not only improved physically but also mentally, emotionally and is encourage to do well outside of gymnastics also. My son is in the Mother's Day Out program and he has gained a lot of knowledge in his basic academics and loves doing gymnastics. The staff are so caring and make Powerhouse feel like a family place to go.

My son has been going to power house for going on six months now. The teachers are all very well rounded in gymnastics skills. Coach Brooke is amazing with my son and has been very personable and easy to speak with thus far. They have quarterly progress reports that are given to students to assess their progress on skills taught. The Gym also has open gym times for the children that are under the age of six to go practice skills . It's only 5$ per child. Its fun and affordable! The only draw back I have seen was that as a teacher I was not impressed by MDO work sheets. The students are at different ages and stages but all seem to get the same work. My child is 3yrs. and was tracing on work sheets for 5yrs. (smaller print than for children who are 3 can manipulate using fine motor skills for their age /stage), but other than that....The staff has been great, the gymastics lessons are moving my son forward, He is growing in his physcal skills and with social skills. Also class ratios are small "1-5," altogether power house gets an A. from me. :)

Very genuine people who care about kids and are passionate about gymnastics. All 4 of my kids have attended classes ages 3,6, & 10's and have a great time with the coaches and classes. They also have a "Fun Friday" which allows parents to drop off kids for a few hours on Friday so that parents like me can get a date night. When I pull my son from his class he cries that he doesnt want to leave. I recommend this place.
