I began going to Practical Fitness a few short months ago. Due to my packed schedule, usually once a week. I was extremely skeptical as to what good it would do with such little time. Surprise! It’s working. I notice small things first. My posture is much improved. My arms are becoming defined and my already good energy is now great energy. Yesterday I lifted heavy containers off of high shelves, packed my suburban and move it all into our storage unit. I realized when finished that i could not have done this 6 months ago. I am in my late 70’s and hoping this will also improve bone density.

I LOVED my workout with Jenn today at Practical Fitness Lakeway!! Hands down the best workout under 30 minutes I’ve had and she helped me so much with my technique. I didn’t feel gross or sick afterwards like some high intensity stuff does to me…if you’re needing a professional trainer and don’t have much time to workout, but want to maximize gains, practical fitness is the place for you!!

I had no idea what to expect when I went in for an assessment, but after an in depth chat about my fitness, habits and goals, Jen explained the workout and how it will work. I am running a little and weight train at home so I had low expectations of this being a tough workout, I was so wrong. Although super safe because you are with a trainer 1-2-1 that tells you exactly what to do, you are pushed to failure with each exercise, resulting in muscle growth and strengthening! I know this because I was reasonably sore for 2 days! Now I need to figure out which plan I want because this place will save me injuries and SO much time!

I have been a client for almost a year. It is a great 2x a week 30 minute workout. Prior to moving here I mostly did outside exercises such as hiking. I now do these workouts to build muscle and bone density. Since I am older it is important to keep up my strength. Kevin is a great encourager for these workouts.

Hard for me to motivated to work on my own. Kevin, at Lakeway, provides a great amount of "gentle" pushing to achieve best results. Left to my own, I would stop short of the most important phases of my exercises. Highly recommend this type of training. Leads to fitness without injury.

I began sessions to increase my lower body strength related to some knee issues, and then I continued my weekly sessions to focus on overall body strength. I have nothing but rave reviews for the personal attention I get from Kevin at practical fitness. All the instructors are excellent but I work out mostly with him. He is patient and very specific . I’ve had a shoulder replacement and the other one with issues. He carefully plans my workout so I can increase my strength without pain! He is great!

Practical Fitness is a perfect fit for me. In 30 mins i get most of my main muscles to completely tire and my heart pumping at full speed. I feel stronger and fitter than i was a couple of years ago and my lower back pain, through strengthening my back muscles, has completely disappeared. Go for a test drive! Highly recommended.

I have always been pleased and impressed with the results I get with Practical Fitness. I have been a client, on and off, for 9 years and their method is the best I have ever experienced (especially for what is accomplished in 30 minutes a session!). It is also the most comprehensive (nutritional advice, stretching, home exercise options, and yoga) as well as the most customized (one on one) program by far. If there were a 6 star option, I would give it.

One of the best and insightful workouts I’ve had in some time. Coming off of previous injuries, I was looking to get in shape but I wanted approach it smartly to avoid re-injuring myself. I’m glad I had the time to check out Practical Fitness. Kevin, took the time to listen and ask about my goals. We worked together to hash out a plan and each workout we dove into, Kevin, never hesitated to explain the benefit of each movement. Along with the smart approach to each workout, Kevin also provided me the extra push I needed knowing that I had just a little more left in the gas tank. Will definitely be returning for more sessions.
