This place is poorly managed and not family-friendly. I personally witnessed an older female employee at the front yelling at young kids before a basketball game. Management needs to seriously train staff on how to interact professionally around families. Itβs clear this place doesnβt care about children or creating a positive environment.

I come here to watch basketball tournaments for the youth and every adult pays $20 to get in and honestly this place is a dump. Bathroom stalls are broken. Thereβs never soap in the bathrooms. The floor is filthy.

Terrible location, small one way road to get in and out, no second exit. How did this location even get approved without appropriate entry and exit? Imagine if there were a fire, this place needs to be shut down until access in and out is corrected.

Extremely Disappointed β Not for Beginners or Young Kids
This camp was advertised as a place for young beginners to learn the basics of basketball, but unfortunately, it was a complete letdown. Our kids walked away having learned almost nothingβexcept how to dribble behind their back and through their legs, which is far from the foundational skills they actually need, like basic dribbling, passing, rebounding, or defense.
The man running the camp was either yelling the entire time or on his phone. There was no instruction, no structure, and certainly no encouragement. Not once were we greeted at drop-off or pickup. The staff looked completely miserable and disengaged.
It ran for 3 hours a day, 4 days a weekβand somehow, in all that time, the kids got zero meaningful coaching. This was not a positive or educational environment, and the person running it should not be in charge of working with children. I would not recommend this camp to anyone looking for a supportive, beginner-friendly experience.

Not the best place. There are definitely better places to bring your kids, like Shooter 360 Austin. My son attended PAC a couple times and first the coaches seem like they donβt care, place is disorganized/ dirty and Iβm not even sure if they supervise the kids at all times. I feel like they just hand them a ball and call it a day. There was a kid bullying my son and the coach did not do anything about it. Avoid this place!!!

Inquired about two court rentals ago, someone named Austin W. replied asking me if I wanted rates on rentals or team training? I told them court rentals, the Austin person never replied back. I sent a follow-up email asking for the rates again, and still no reply. I literally was going to sign up and become a member β Iβll take my business elsewhere.

This place takes advantage of grandparents and friends wanting to support their family. Nice facilities but wow, I own an business, I understand you need to make money, but what they already charge for kids to play on and use the gym should be sufficient. . charging $20 for a grandparent or sibling or parent to be able to watch and support your kid is overpriced IMO and downright unaffordable for some so it made me sad.
Next time my 8yo daughter has a tournament here the grandparents and siblings won't get to come support her because of their rates! Ridiculous

OK, so we came here to see our grandson's championship games. First time here, and it's packed. The teams play side by side, and there are kids, adults, trash, and things left everywhere. π€― We found us a spot finally, crazy how people can leave drinks phones. The game was good they got second place. Until next timeβοΈUpdate next game a year later, 3/23/25 We came again for their championship game this time, and one of them won!! π Yayyyππ.... I do have to say for what they charged to get in we paid $51 to get in we could have gotten the military discount but the young lady didn't know how to do itπ€ This place is never clean the bathrooms looked a hot mess there is always trash from people leaving it.π«£ The referees either called bogus calls or didn't call the calls they needed too on top of the score keeper didn't count all the points SMH one team didn't get all there free throw points𫨠but let's get back to what really matter this place really needs to get there bathrooms together especially the womens you had to push the soap bag just to get soap,π they only have one working hand dryer then later on they put a paper towel on the counter and some hand sanitizer spray soap in there later plus the toilet were clogged up badly alsoπ‘

This is the worst gym ever. I really blame the coaches for having our kids play here in this dump. For myself and two 9 yr olds, they charged me $50 to get in. Every week they charge Saturday, $20 per adult and $15 per kid to come watch your child play (2) 1 hour games then the next day you have to pay the same amount the next day to come in. Majority of the team parents donβt come because they canβt afford the come in weekly with their kids. On top of that we already paid $200 just to play in the league. This is ridiculous.

Went to go wash my grandson play basketball and the building was filthy the walls needed painting. They were potholes plenty of potholes in the parking lot. There were small kids that weren't on any teams that were throwing the football around and the basketball around which ended up bouncing into the basketball courts where the games were being played. People had their dogs inside the building which I complained about but they said there wasn't any policy whether pets could be allowed inside the building so want to let everybody know bring all your pets. And they charged $20 a person per day. Hope my grandson's team doesn't play there again because it is very trashy inside and out. ππ

Unregulated Competition: This tournament was a disappointment compared to regulated leagues like AAU that verify player eligibility (age/grade) before games. Here, there seems to be no oversight, prioritizing money over fair play.
Age Disparity: Our 3rd-grade team, Grind House, faced an unfair advantage against Killeen Focus, a team with 5th graders. This is like having middle schoolers play high schoolers.
Pay-to-Play Integrity: When we questioned the age discrepancy, we were told it would cost $100 to investigate. The price even doubled to $200 upon requesting to personally pay for the investigation.
Profit Over Fairness: It's clear the focus is on making money, not on fair competition or protecting young athletes.
Empty Promises: Even with an investigation (at an outrageous cost), the game would continue with ineligible players.
Broken System: There appears to be no system in place to ensure fair play and age-appropriate competition
Unethical leadership and practices in this organization!!!!

Do yourself a favor and trust the reviews! Paid for 2 basketball rec leagues for spring ball. I got absolutely no communication about a game that was supposed to be played in 2 days. No one answers their phone, Facebook, or email, I donβt know who is in charge of their operations but they need to do better. For the amount they charge there should be better customer service. This place is a dump with horrible employees. The employees are rude, surly, and couldnβt care less about their jobs. The parking lot is full of potholes and the parking lines are barely visible. The courts are decent but too close together. There is hardly any seating to watch the games. The bathrooms are gross and the noise in the facility is insane. And (unbelievably) they charge $30 a day per person to get in to watch. Stay away from this place if you can.

PAC winter basketball league was awful. My 8 yrs old kids played there and they were in a team with 10th years old, playing in 10 feet hoops when they should have been playing in a team with 7th and 8th yrs old kids and 8 feet hoops. Nobody told this change to us. Teams were very uneven so young kids were frustrated. Practices were a wasted time, Kids did not receive instructions and skills. Their coach had a lame atitude. This is our first and last time in this league.

As others have stated, the bathrooms are horrendous. We are sometimes there in the morning. There is no way the bathrooms got disgusting that fast. They were not cleaned from the day or even week before. Also, they don't roll down dividers between courts, so the noise carries throughout making it hard for players to tell which ref is blowing whistles. It wouldn't take much to improve this place, but someone has to recognize the issues and be willing to address them. Go to the bathroom before you get there!

I wanted to give PAC a 5-star, the courts are good, but the road to the parking is bad, and the parking spaces are not good. The parking spots are difficult to see especially when it's dark. When there are games, visitors can't park probably because they can barely see the lines.

Title: Extremely Dissatisfied with this Basketball League
I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with a this youth basketball league that I had high hopes for. Despite a few positive aspects, such as well-kept facility floors, the overall condition of the league and its practices were far from satisfactory. Allow me to elaborate on the various issues I encountered.
One of the major problems with the league was the dismal state of its surroundings. While the facility floors were well maintained, the area outside the facility was constantly littered with trash. The perimeter was always cluttered, and the overflowing dumpsters only added to the uncleanliness. Additionally, the asphalt road leading to the facility was riddled with numerous potholes, making it an unpleasant and potentially hazardous journey.
The league's organization left much to be desired. Practice days and times were frequently changed, causing immense inconvenience and making it difficult to plan accordingly. Moreover, the tournament schedule was provided just days before the event, leaving little time for families to make arrangements or adjust their schedules accordingly. This lack of timely communication showcased a complete disregard for the participants and their families.
One of the most frustrating aspects of the league was the exorbitant fees charged for tournaments. Even young children attending to support their siblings were expected to pay a fee of over $10, which seemed unjustifiable. Additionally, the entry fee for each tournament day ranged from $15 to $20 per person, despite the fact that attendees were often requested to volunteer as clock operators or scorekeepers. This practice not only felt exploitative but also added to the financial burden on families.
The league's approach to tournaments was deeply flawed. Participants were often placed in games against players from nearby towns who were significantly more advanced in their basketball skills. This unfair pairing consistently resulted in demoralizing defeats for the participants, shattering their confidence and undermining the purpose of the league. Furthermore, the lack of commitment from the coach, who divided their attention among multiple teams, left the players with inexperienced substitute coaches who were unfamiliar with the players' abilities and needs.
As a parent, my primary goal in enrolling my child in this league was to help them develop basketball skills and gain confidence for future endeavors. Unfortunately, this league failed to deliver on both fronts. My child showed no improvement in basketball skills and, worse yet, had their confidence shattered. The league's practices and approach did more harm than good, leaving us deeply dissatisfied and regretful of our decision to participate.
In conclusion, I strongly discourage parents from considering this particular youth basketball league. The unsatisfactory organization, excessive fees, unfair tournament pairings, and lack of commitment from the coaching staff were detrimental to the participants' growth and enjoyment of the sport. Seek alternative leagues that prioritize skill development, fair competition, and the overall well-being of young athletes.

We registered for a Basketball League for my 14 yr old daughter paying $1,200! PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. We routinely had to travel around an hour away for tournaments, pay an additional $15-$20 per person per day of the tournaments. One of our parents was asked to help keep score every game and still had to pay to get in. Our coach was not able to coach at all of our tournaments because he was coaching other teams which means we had substitute coaches who never worked with our team before. Centex is unorganized, overpriced, the facility is run down and sadly we saw no real improvement in game play or skill.

Do NOT send you girl to a summer volleyball camp here! the price might be a little more reasonable than other professional club clinics but you get what you pay for! We signed up for a week just to break up where she was going for summer clinics and to check it out since it was close to home - big mistake. Sarah has been running the camp for 3 years so you will notice the good reviews for summer camps precede her.
Sarah lacks the experience and professionalism to run a decent camp, and is not mature enough to handle any small issues that might arise - her answer is to send a girl home for not asking to go to the restroom. She even went so far as to lie about my daughter and say things I absolutely know she would not say and do! we been down that road before and it did not end well for that coach. I am not wasting my time with Sarah - I am just getting a refund.
As far as the camp itself - my daughter came home the first day and told me what a bad experience it was and that many of the girls did not have fun and there were no games to make it fun. My daughter has played club, school and attended various summer camps over the past 6 years and has never come home with stories of being screamed at, asked to dangerous drills and being chastised for going to the restroom without telling the coach at 13 YO. The coaches seem more interested in talking to each other much of the time as well. The coaches are kids and I do not feel like they have enough experience to deal with multiple age groups to ensure their safety with the different skill levels that inherently come with allowing 6 years of difference on the same court/clinic.
When speaking to the manager of the facility (kid), he told me this was the first issue THIS year...Wow, how reassuring!
Several parents were watching the second day because other girls went home with the same stories but the coaches saw, of course, and acted nicer. The attitude was appalling to hear from the coaches. I used to coach when my daughter was younger - I would never talk to young kids the way these coaches do. I seriously doubt Sarah has had much volleyball training - she is not associated with any club at all - just PAC.
The kicker is that the place is also managed by very young individuals, which might explain why it is not being maintained very well inside. After I requested to speak with the coach, with the manager, and called her out on safety issues and professionalism, he told me that he would send the email to get a refund. He was able to fast-track the refund for the same day - this was the only good part of this experience.

This is Year 2 that our AAU team has TRAVELED FROM OUT OF TOWN to this facility. Each time it has been EXTREMELY HOT (and its 100 degrees outside) and being told that the AC units just went out. Same excuse year after year? Teams are paying to enter the tournaments and guest are still being charged full price on multiple days to support their player. No complimentary fans nor water is being offered. This facility needs to close if you cant cool it down for everyone that has to spend HOURS in here. Multiple people were sitting in their cars to cool off given the price of gas right now. I feel like a portion of fees should be paid back to each team because this facility was in INHUMANE CONDITION and what exactly is the money being spent on? Cant be the AC issue.

Don't bother trying to contact the facility. Phone calls, e-mails, and messages on social media never get returned. Must be a new point of contact now. I'm not the only person who experience this. A friend of mine literally had to drive there in person to talk to someone after weeks of trying to get a hold of someone.

Really nice place. Went to the reptile show. Packed a lot of vendors in this place. Parking was good but at times it was hard to get down the road to the parking lot. Once there were cars on both sides of the road to the lot. And there was no wifi so my poor service did not help my experience. Show was great. Will go back.

The PAC is a great place for youth league basketball. The staff is friendly and responsive and the snack bar is well stock. The downside β itβs laid out a bit weird. Some courts are perpendicular to other courts, so you have to keep a constant lookout for stray balls, because you may be sitting close to another game.

The "premier" part of this facility's name seems to be forgotten at this point. We were here recently over a Saturday/Sunday for a basketball tournament and found a parking lot with major pot holes to avoid, extremely dirty bathroom stalls, and air conditioning that barely worked.

I like that they can have multiple games running at the same time and they have snacks and drinks available at reasonable prices,, but could they at least turn the A/C on? It was hot and humid with fans just circulating the hot and humid air.

We have had a few select basketball tournaments here and it is one of the darkest gyms that I have ever gone to and very little seating.

Event planners stay away. The management is rude to those who try to host events. refuse to clean the facility or repair things that are broken. When guests complain the management then blames the event hosts.

Nice facility, bleachers are provided at each court. The snack area is nice as it gives the players/parents a place to sit and eat between matches.

Communication for court rental request and setup could be much better, must not be a priority for facility. Too many delayed responses. Courts could be wiped down for the area thatβs rented out as well.
