When I started working out with Brian, I had chronic pain from muscle tension in my hips that I've been struggling with for over 10 years. I've constantly been to yoga classes, therapist, doctors, chiropractors, etc. with little improvement. Brian took my issues into account and designed a work out program that allowed me to develop strength and mobility in my hips, legs, and core that allows me to now bike and hike like I was 20 years younger. Roxanne is a wizard in finding deep holding patterns in my body that I didn't even know I had and coax them to let go. The workout combined with the massage is a synergy for strong and great!

I’ve been training with kettlebells under Brian’s guidance for about 10 years, starting in my late 40s. During that time, he’s helped me build real strength- like finally doing an unassisted pull-up-and has taught me effective stretching and functional training such as farmers carries and sand bag dead lifts. He has also helped me to recover more quickly from preexisting injuries, as well as to continue doing the active things I love.
Brian’s programming is both challenging and fun, and he asks to see if there’s something specific I want to focus on. He emphasizes consistency, supports my accountability, and even provides dietary advice. Brian is, without a doubt, the best trainer I’ve ever had!

I've known Brian and Roxanne for almost ten years through our connections with StrongFirst. These two trainers are regarded as "royalty" in our community. Not only strong and very capable themselves, but have years and years of being able to demonstrate the ability to teach the skill of movement and strength to others. Roxanne's knowledge of the human body through her massage practice adds an additional layer of knowledge to their training practice that most personal trainers simply don't have. If you're going to spend the money to get coached (everybody is expensive now-a-days), you might as well hire the gurus. These two are the real deal!

In my opinion, there’s no better place in Amarillo for personal training. I’m in my late 60’s. and been working out with Brian for more than 12 years now. He’s a great teacher and inspiration. He understands the technical aspects of every movement we make in the gym, and is always able to analyze, pinpoint, and correct problems in form. Brian is very serious about his job and is very careful to make sure that one is ready and has the proper technique for the training. He tailors each session to the person he’s training so that they can progress and achieve their goals. The facility is spacious and clean with all the equipment necessary for a great workout. Roxanne is the most innovative , knowledgeable personable massage therapists I have been blessed to find. I am a fitness instructor of 40 years and saw her weekly to be able to keep teaching classes for years . .Af 63 and having a total hip replacement , she guided me through muscle awareness techniques to help me have my muscles learn to “ re-fire” again. Her knowledge of the body , unique techniques and excellent fitness level makes her a hidden gem in Amarillo. Her certifications in kettlebell and functional training are just another perk. I can now move like I did prior to surgery due to her help and guidance . Amazing ! I have had many therapist when I travel and she beats them all .

One of the best TRAINERS in TEXAS. This isn't just another CROSSFIT Box ... this is more like CROSSFIT 3.0 ... it's Strength & Fitness at the next level. After training at PRiMiTiVE STRNGTH for the past several years i'm in better shape in my 60's than i was in my 40's ... and weigh about 40 lbs less.
