I have been practicing barre for 10 years in multiple studio around the country. By far and away pure barre Georgetown leads the pack. The warmth and attention of every single instructor and associates kept me coming back now on average 5 times a week! I am grateful!

I can't say enough about the thoughtful team at Pure Barre. The entire team is dedicated to FIVE STAR STELLAR service - from the owner to the instructors to the people at the front desk. I can't tell you who my fav teachers are because then my classes will get to crowed (LOL), but I will say there is a teacher for all. The students are inspirational be they young, strong veterans and/or 70+ gray hairs - all sweat it out and support one another in the process. UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME WORKOUTS! GO PURE BARRE! GO!

I became a founding member at the inception of Georgetown's Pure Barre studio in 2023. I've seen this sacred studio space of valued teachers not only grow in their curriculum of classes taught, but also blossom as a community of staff and students coming together, whether it be at special events both in and out of the studio, book club meetings, or in daily classes. I enjoy having a space to come to weekly and feel challeneged while still being given the encouragement and motivation to keep going. As a former professional dancer now almost in my 40's, I've had some injuries and took a break from exercise for a bit, so my motivation was low. Now as a member at PB Georgetown, I feel more empowered than ever to continue my fitness journey with educated teachers like these in my corner, cheering me on. Taking all of the class types offered is the most effective way to maintain your overall health and fitness goals. My personal favorites though are the Define and Align classes. And don't underestimate small movements, because they're usually the ones that will have the biggest impact. If you're thinking about visiting this studio as a first timer or a veteran whose taken group classes before, you won't be disappointed! Jasmin, Chelsea, Sklya, Julie and all of the other amazing instructors and staff will be there to help guide and motivate you along the way, whether it's your first or fiftieth class! At the end of the day, your health is your wealth!

This Pure Barre studio in Georgetown stands out not only for the quality of its classes but also for the welcoming, community-driven atmosphere. The instructors are knowledgeable, attentive, and consistently create a supportive environment for all fitness levels. There’s a great variety of class formats (from Align to Define), so it’s easy to find options that suit your goals and energy level. Classes are never overcrowded, and I’ve always been able to find a spot, which makes it easy to maintain a routine even with a busy work schedule. The studio is well-maintained, organized, and always has a positive energy. All in all, an excellent place to build strength, stay motivated, and feel connected!

I love Pure Barre. Over 70 and having a ball! Love crushing the goals they set up for us. Instructors are always assessing the class for encouragement, modifications if needed . The community it brings is great to make it through some tough classes. But that is where the muscle makes progress and gets you to your goal of strength and balance. The instructors make it fun and talks us through the tough moments…..”that’s why your here, to change and strengthen, only 10 more seconds….”
Helps you focus! I would encourage you to give it a try… I promise you will love it!!

I absolutely love Pure Barre Georgetown! PB-GTX is welcoming from the moment you walk in. The classes have a great mix of people ages 16+, fitness levels, and backgrounds. The energy is always positive and uplifting, and the members and instructors make you feel like you’re part of a real community.

What really sets Pure Barre apart for me is the focus on micro movements. After dealing with quad activation failure, muscle atrophy after my knee surgery, I needed a safe and effective way to rebuild strength. I used to be all about HIIT workouts and honestly didn’t think this style would be challenging enough. But I was SO wrong. The low-impact, high-intensity format has been a total game-changer. It’s helped me activate and rebuild my quads in a way I didn’t think was possible.

Now, 1 year and 4 months later, I’m still coming 4–6 times a week because I’m completely hooked. The results speak for themselves, and I’ve never felt stronger or more supported. If you’re looking for a workout that’s effective, encouraging, and truly for everyone—this is the place!

So thankful to have found this Pure Barre studio! Very positive and empowering environment. Wonderful fellow members. Instructors are very knowledgeable, encouraging, compassionate, and supportive. Studio is clean and well organized. Location is tucked away in the Wolf Ranch shopping center back behind where Sephora is, and it’s a hidden gem. If you’re looking to lift, tone, strengthen, firm, and burn calories, this is IT! There are a variety of intensity level classes, I’ve never had trouble “getting in” —reservations online are super easy. It is low intensity (not to be mistaken as “easy”), complements Pilates type workouts well— lots of core, micro movements, whole body. Appropriate for a wide age range, I’d say anyone 20-65!

Been going here since they opened. Love the studio and the instructors. I love the low impact workout it gives me since I have a shoulder and knee injury from high school that still acts up every now and then. They also make it a community with lots of events. It’s super fun and engaging.

I really enjoyed the experience. It was really cool getting to try a free class before making any decisions. Dalia reached out to me prior to the initial class to get to know me better and find out my goals. Everyone was super nice and informative and there was never any pressure to commit. I think overall they really just want you to come in and see if it’s a fit for you. I have never done any kind of class workout setting before and I’m a shy and introverted person but I immediately felt at ease and enjoyed a great workout. Also they put my name on the welcome board. Idk why but I found it so sweet and personable!

Pure Barre saved me after an exercise rut of 3 years after I got long COVID! I love the energy of this studio, from Dana the manager with the warmest smile to Dahlia & Sam the owners who are very receptive to feedback to all the amazing instructors (looking at you Sarah, Marissa & Kendall!) to the other people who attend class, this place is so uplifting and positive from Day One. I had only done barre one time before years ago but the instructors here are so great at correcting form and answering questions after class, and I got a lot of help from other attendees.

After just 10 classes, I began to notice changes in my body and I lost 7.5 lbs the first month with 14 classes. I sleep better, my mood is better, my flexibility is better and I’ve made friends (I call them my “barre friends”) along the way. The other attendees range in age from early 20s to retirement age and all sizes & levels of fitness. The workout is challenging for EVERYONE and the 50 minutes (from warmup to arms/back, legs, seat, abs, stretching) goes by so quickly. Additionally, there are lots of modifications you can make to the exercises if you have an injury or similar.

The instructors are absolutely wonderful. One is a former professional cheerleader, one is a pelvic floor physical therapist (hello Kegels!), one is a former swimmer, one is a former yoga instructor and almost all of them took Pure Barre before teaching and many of them take the others’ classes on their times off which is a testament to how much they believe in the workout.

I was worried about parking at Wolf Ranch but it’s never been an issue.

After 2 months and 30 classes, I’m still every bit as enthusiastic about my experience. The whole studio is so warm and welcoming and there is a mix of regular clients and new attendees. They have 4 different class formats to choose from and evening & weekend class options for those of us who work or simply refuse to be vertical at 5:45 AM.

If possible, try a Foundations class early on or watch one of the Pure Barre Foundations videos online to get an idea of some of the basic terminology (such as tuck, freeze, hold, down an inch/up an inch) and moves. Wear leggings to keep your legs warm and help with use of the double tube. And don’t forget some grippy socks!!

I love Pure Barre Georgetown!! The instructors are amazing and I leave every class challenged yet proud of what I accomplished. I previously had a low back injury so finding a workout that is challenging, yet safe for my low back was hard. However, I feel like Pure Barre has been such a blessing! I can make modifications for my injury without feeling judged and I am confident I am still getting stronger. So glad we have this studio in Georgetown!!

This place has saved me! After a few years of no exercise, I had been struggling to close to home that was as challenging as my previous fitness routine...and something that would keep me engaged and excited to show up. I met Dana at a Chamber event and something about her energy and the things she was telling me barre could do for me made me sign up. I was so excited when the studio opened! The classes are amazing, so hard, and yet, so good feeling! All of the instructors are well trained and give suggestions on modifications.

I was struggling to work out one or two times a week, since coming to Pure Barre, I have found the time to take class 5 - 7 times a week! I am finally feeling like my old self again and loving it.

I highly recommend Pure Barre Georgetown for anyone looking for an inclusive fitness class experience with a group of ladies (and a few men) that are like minded and working towards the same goal of a healther, more fit self.

Signed up in Feb and the Studio was scheduled to open in May. Paid first fee in Feb. After multiple delays, the Studio opened mid June.
During this time my circumstances changes and I was unable to attendend any classes.

June 30th I email the team asking cancellation, when was inforned that my contract was going to end in July 25th. (I have it in writing)

July 20th I message to confirm and surprise: Now I have to pay a second month without have ever used the studio and had my membership extended until August.

Advise: ask around for feedback beforw signed up. The contract is one sided and protects only the business. Sad seeing a business starting like this.
