This is not a gym. It’s a fitness class with groups of about 10. We do group exercises but at your pace. There’s no pressure and it’s all levels. I’m 64 and have actual results in my five months of attendance of about three times a week. I try to go four. Carl is constantly giving positive advice and encouraging us. Like he says to me. Just show up.

It was truly a gift to myself when I joined Pure Form Training 3 years ago! At 71 years old, I wasn’t sure I could do the workouts, but I quickly found out I could! Because of it, I continue to feel stronger, more energetic, can walk up 2 flights of stairs without being winded, and have an overall feeling of being healthy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pure Form Fitness Changed My Life

I hadn’t worked out in over 12 years. I used to joke that I “missed the fitness train” — everyone around my age seemed to have jumped into the fitness trend at some point, while I was just standing at the station. It almost felt like a generational thing; people my age were focused on work and survival while younger generations made it normal to care for your body and your mental health.

After ending a relationship during my seventh month of pregnancy, losing my mom months later, and having to co-parent with someone who was financially abusive, I hit the lowest point of my life. I was emotionally, physically, and spiritually drained. Some days, I could barely get out of bed. The only things that got me through were my children and my faith.

Eventually, I decided to do something just for me. I signed up at Pure Form Fitness, even though I hadn’t truly worked out in over a decade. That first day nearly took me out — I woke up so sore I could barely walk and had to call a friend to take my kids to school the next morning 🤣. I was completely out of shape and overwhelmed, but something about the atmosphere kept me coming back.

It took me over six months to find consistency while juggling real estate, a second job, and three little girls, but I realized that every time I showed up — even when I didn’t want to — I was fighting for a better version of myself.

This gym didn’t just change my body — it changed my life. It gave me structure, confidence, and the reminder that I’m capable of doing hard things. It’s where I found a community that pushes you but also prays with you. Where your coach, Carl, cares enough to be tough on you. Where forgetting your weekly Bible verse means more burpees (and somehow, you don’t even mind)—but I love that faith and fitness go hand in hand here.

This place has been one of the two things that got me through the darkest time in my life — the other being God. It’s given me something powerful to show my girls: that their mom was strong enough to pull herself out of a deep, dark place and rebuild piece by piece.

I’m still a work in progress, but I can honestly say I’m becoming the most fit — and most alive — version of myself. I’ll update this review with photos once I take some 🤣, but for now, I’ll just say this: If you’re stuck, broken, or doubting whether you can start — this is your sign. Join. Show up. Let this place change you like it changed me.

I turn 39 this December, and for the first time in my life, I can’t wait to see what 40 looks like.

I had been lifting weights for a year (3 days a week) at another gym and felt I needed more to make strength gains and fat loss. The Pure Form program is what I needed that combines personal dietary accountability, strength training, cardio is integrated, and stretching at the end of sessions. I have lost about 5 pounds in 5 weeks and gained 2 pounds of muscle while eating coach Carls recommended higher protein diet while also watching other macros. He has us take pics in an app that wasn’t pleasant seeing myself, but I k ow that in a few months the photo comparisons will tell the truth! I CANNOT say enough good things about Pure Form Celina. Some background on myself and health/fitness journey - I lost 90lbs in my early 20's and was a huge advocate of strong lifting, and strength training. I dedicated 2 hours a day, 5 days a week to my workouts. Unfortunately, I had a debilitating car accident in 2014 that injured my back, and I was no longer able to proceed with the same workouts. Because of this, I became very discouraged and unmotivated. I tried getting back into the gym multiple times, but just could not find somewhere that felt like home, and worked out at my pace, with my needs.

Flash forward almost EIGHT YEARS! I now have had two beautiful daughters... but paid the price (physically and mentally) for it. I was experiencing back pain again, frequent tiredness, and just overall sluggishness. On top of that, my mental health was declining, and the stress of life really started affecting my daily life. Luckily for me, my best friend got me a trial class at Pure Form Celina... and I reluctantly went. I will say that after not working out for EIGHT years, this trial class kicked my behind. I was SORE for days! But I went back, and I am so glad that I did! I am completely addicted and this is my gym HOME. Coach Carl and Alex do a PHENOMENAL job of motivating and pushing you in a positive manner. The ambience is light, fun, and HARD! Be prepared to sweat your butt off and see those gains. After not working out for so long, I was intimidated to get back into it. But not once did I feel uncomfortable, embarrassed, or shamed at Pure Form. Coach Carl and his team are so helpful and encouraging. For the first time in ages, I look forward to my workouts and thoroughly enjoy them. Do not get me wrong, the classes are definitely challenging... but in the BEST WAY! I finally found my gym home! I highly recommend that anyone in this area try the class and give it a shot. You will absolutely not be disappointed!

Pleasantly surprised to find a gym you don't just wonder around in waiting for the machine you want or find a new one that you are not sure how to use and there is no help around.
Pure form does not have machines! Coach Carl uses med balls, sand bags, dumbells, bands, and great music as he coaches the entire gym as a group! It's so much fun yet challenging! Need to modify? Coach is watching 👀 you and knows what you need to do. He will show you and make sure you are doing it correctly before moving on. I enjoy listening to him singing to the music at the top of his lungs as he coaches us along.
He makes it fun and pushes us as a group to challenge ourselves! Such a blast! 🎶

I decided to try our PFT a few weeks ago and it's one of the best decisions I ever made. Carl is a great coach and focuses on strength and getting lean. The regime includes many body weight exercises with dumb bells designed for a full body workout in 45 minutes. I promise you'll feel the workout immediately and you'll notice real results soon thereafter. Carl is friendly and very encouraging, and your fellow gym members are there for the same reason as you. That makes the group training setting even better. Give it a try today and see what you think - don't cheat yourself and give up after the first one. I have been a member of lots of different gyms, group exercise places, and had numerous personal trainers over the years. But honestly, none of them compare to Pure Form Training with coach Carl. This is the best gym you will ever join. Everyone is kind, and have various levels of strength, and the workouts are fantastic. The owner/coach is truly a gem. He knows his stuff and works hard to ensure you have a great workout, but that you are using correct form and performing each movement to max effectiveness. It feels like a personal training session each time you are there. I love that each class is high intensity resistance training and none of that crossfit/olympic lifting stuff that causes so many injuries. the gym is clean and all the equipment is in great shape, basically seems brand new. I'm 62 years old and really struggled with joining a gym/exercise program but I needed too! Carl has been amazing to work with and he tailors my workouts specific to my needs. It feels great to feel the body tightening up after only the 5th or 6th workout! It's hard work but if you desire to get back in shape Pure Form is the place to be!!! Joining this gym has been one of the best decisions my husband and I have made. We leave every class feeling stronger, sore, challenged, encouraged and entertained:) Coach Carl is so great. I started this journey not really knowing what I was getting into. I have completely let myself get out of shape the older I have gotten, so I am by no means a fitness guru. Pure Form Training in Celina is the best decision I have made in a long time. I am 3 weeks into my membership, and I'm already seeing substantial changes. I'm getting stronger, I've lost quite a bit of weight, I'm more focused, and most importantly, I feel so much better! I no longer feel like I need a nap in the afternoon. My attitude is better and I approach my day differently now. Carl is absolutely AWESOME! He is so motivating, fun, and pushes you to be better yet understands your limits. It's the first time I have gone to a gym that I didn't feel completely intimidated. I absolutely love Pure Form Training and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to change the way they feel and get in shape!
Update: I'm now 5 months in, still loving it, 23 lbs lighter, stronger, and feeling better than i have in 20 years!

I've done a lot of things in the past to lose weight, but starting at PFT was the best decision I ever made to actually get into shape. Pure Form Training is the best gym I have belonged to. I have been a member of Gold’s Gym and Landmark Gym it was good but for a month the classes were the same. With PFT, depending on the day you attend, different muscle groups are targeted. Carl wants you to be the best both physically and mentally ! During our classes, he diligently watches for correct form so you don’t hurt yourself and You get the best out of the work out! I guess you might want to say ”I belong to one of these popular gyms” ( the truth is you seldom workout while you are there or you can say “ I am a member of Pure Form Training”. That means you are attending/sweating/ building muscle/loosing weigh to be the best you can be! No regrets for joining! This is the best coach and program for all levels and all ages. I feel good after my workout! These sessions provide me with energy and a clear mind to tackle the day! You can’t go wrong with this gym!

Pure form fitness is absolutely amazing. I found myself needing to work out after having done nothing for decades. Was driven to this with cholesterol and sugar results increasing. Coach Carl is absolutely amazing! Met with me to understand my needs and limitations. Will customize workout for you! Truly understands while group training one size does not fit all. In a couple of months lab results are down and I lost 30 pounds. Feel much better and you will see and feel the improvements. Truly life changing. If you are questioning how to begin or continue your training this is absolutely the place for you!

I have been working out here for 4 weeks and it has been great. It’s challenging workouts where you can push yourself as hard as you can go everyday. Coach Carl is awesome and he helps you out with how to eat and tracks your muscle gains and body fat so you can see what progress you are making which is really much more helpful than just tracking weight. I came in pretty out of shape and overweight but that is changing rapidly by following meal plans provided and coming in consistently every morning to workout. In first 2 weeks I dropped 4% body fat and put on a lb of muscle. 3 days are muscle ISO type work and 2 focus more on core and cardio. There is also usually a Saturday class as well. So you can get in 6 workouts a week! Highly recommended!
