Awful experience. Very fake.
My daughter was injured, still went to every class and they said she dropped but we were still paying and there for every class. Was told she would have to wait an entire year to tryout because if her injury. Would not let her try out a month later. Refused to apologize to my daughter to let her know what happened was not her fault.

We’ve toured and trialed 5 other dance schools around the area before we found Pure Movement. We’ve seen schools with more spacious viewing areas, or better equipped in terms of technology, or staffed with instructors with better credentials. But our goal is have our child grow in her dance techniques in a fun environment. Pure Movement nails it in that aspect. Their Hip Hop Basics class has structure but remains very fun thanks to Mia, the instructor who is engaging without losing sight of improving the kids’ techniques.

I’ve observed the interaction in other classes in this school and I’d say their instructors across different genres are equally passionate about dancing and highly engaged with their students.

Bailey, the manager/coordinator who runs the studio, is super friendly and welcoming, making the enrollment process hassle free and painless.

I’d definitely recommend this studio based on my experience.

The dancers at this studio are not only phenomenal dancers but phenomenal people. I own a studio in DFW and they were so nice and inclusive to our students. They noticed we only had 1 soloist alone and not only hyped her up into her own dance solo, but also asked her to sit with them at awards and were cheering her on. It was such a special moment to see and definitely reflects on the kind of studio they are.
You're doing it right, Pure Movement!

I met the owner and her husband Billy as there uber driver they were very nice couple, friendly, grateful, even invited my children to join their sessions for two free sessions just to check them out.... they are awesome

Love this studio and all the teachers. They are very encouraging and uplifting to their students. Nice large dance rooms. Large seating area with TV's so you can sit and watch your child dance. I can't say enough good things about Dusty and Emily. My daughter has really blossomed as a dancer since she has been with them. Sign up for the free week of dance and judge for yourself! ❤️

I'm currently taking a Hip-Hop class and I could not love it more, the people are great, the performance opportunities are great. (We recently performed at Six Flags in Arlington). I could not ask for better opportunities.

I love this studio! It's like my second home. Every year we have a awesome lock in, where they make you feel as comfortable as if you were in your own house. All the teachers are so nice and meet everyone's needs. Tomorrow I will be performing for them at the state fair along with my junior team and I can't wait. I love everybody there to death and they are all so nice. I came to this school as a level one and now I'm a lot more advanced. At my old school they did teach me proper technique but at pure movement, not only did they teach me the technique I needed, they taught me steps and tricks that I wouldn't even be doing for 3 more years at my old school. Over all this is a great school and everyone who goes there loves it.

This studio is horrible! I have three reasons:

1. I took my daughter to this studio for a hour long class. The teacher showed up thirty minutes late without any notice from the office staff. Once the teacher showed up she didn't know how to work the sound system. After that class I asked my daughter if she liked it, she said she the class was horrible and the teacher kept playing favorites. She also said the class, she was stretching even know it was a Hip Hop class.

2. So she wanted to quit. I couldn't blame her. So we went to the office to ask for a refund for the class. They didn't give us refund which I was angry because it was the first class of the season if it was the last class I would understand. I payed for the PM shirt for the Hip Hop class but they still wouldn't bother.

3. So we left. I checked their FaceBook page, and comment was "Can you do you pole dancing?" Which I was shocked I thought they would say no because there are young kids dancing and they wanted a kid friendly place but the owner said "It's possibility I'll look into it." I was so shocked. Another post was "We had so much fun at Sexy Moms get your sexy on!" I more shocked about that.

So I went a studio called ADA in Allen. It's a huge difference when you walk thru that door. It's a nice factually with nice people that Pure Movement doesn't have. NEVER TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!

Definetly my favorite dance studio! The staff is like my family (my mom is apart of the staff too, lol) and they are the sweetest people you will ever meet. They will always invite you in whether your a stranger or not!

Pure Movement Dance and Fitness is by far the best experience I have had with a studio in a LONG time. They have a HUGE variety of dance AND fitness classes. As an adult, it has become increasingly difficult to find true adult dance classes in the DFW area. Pure Movement offers these in ballet, technique, jazz, ballroom, burlesque, and hip hop, with more to come, I'm sure!

Gina, the ballet instructor is truly fabulous. She effectively teaches the beginner and the more advanced student without either overhwhelming one or boring the other.

Amy Jo and Emily offer incredible hip hop classes that are challenging, high energy, and super fun. They are also exceptional at preparing those individuals who are prepping for professional auditions!

There are also prep classes for high school students wishing to become drill team members! There is even a cheer prep class!

The fitness classes at Pure Movement are exceptional as well. Between zumba, S.T.R.I.D.E., strength training classes, core work, bootcamps, yoga/pilates, tabata, and insanity master classes, there is something for every level and every schedule. And if you've never heard of "drumming alive," this is something you MUST try. It is fun, exciting, and a great workout.

Parents, there are wonderful classes for your kiddos. All ages, all types of dance with instructors who simply can't be beat! Gymnastics for little ones too!

The studio is huge and has a great modern/industrial feel. The facilities are just fabulous, plus there is an infared sauna!!!

I truly can't say enough about Pure Movement. Wonderful classes, amazing people, and huge hearts! Check it out, you won't be sorry!!!
