There aren't words enough to express my love for Red Tiger Karate! I wish every child could go here. They care so much and are so attentive that they actually walk around and watch the children's faces, and a soon as they see a slight change in expression, they're there with reassurance, comfort, or clarity. They aren't at the front of the class demonstrating only. Nobody is left behind or out. They also work well with special needs, something I've observed, even though I'm not sure it's a skill they claim to have. If your child is struggling with anything, they will help; from not fitting in to anger issues to being nonverbal to watching too much TV. The people of Red Tiger Karate are generations of families that are getting it right in life and helping other people come along side to see how it's done!

I’ve been training at Red Tiger Karate for the past two years, and I absolutely love it! The adult classes are incredibly valuable—you get a lot of one-on-one time with the instructors, which really helps you grow. All the instructors are knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely care about your progress.
My sons have also been in the program for the past three years, and it’s made a huge difference in their confidence. The instructors are fantastic with kids and know how to motivate and encourage them.
I’d happily recommend Red Tiger Karate to anyone interested in learning martial arts!

Good for young children, BUT if you are a male between 15-45 this ain’t for you, no real fighting, I was told many times to “go gentle” even though I was in the adult class. As a 21 year old it’s embarrassing to pay $40 for a tournament or sparring event and show up to have to fight or do kata against a literal 3rd grader, and honesty kind of a ripoff if your and adult man looking for a serious fighting environment, again never in any other martial arts I’ve ever done have I been told were just “tagging” I tried to use this program as a release and outlet for emotions but honestly you have to hold back in order not to get in trouble or hurt people it’s wild. Also kind of unorganized, I’m on yellow belt but depending on who’s teaching me that day I will learn different techniques and they have to discuss amongst themselves what the techniques are that they’re having to teach me. Not worth the money once you’re over 10 years old.

I've been in Red Tiger Karate for 7 years, and was trained often by the head instructor at North Lakes, Sean Dunne. He makes karate so much fun! He is definitely one of my favorites of the many high quality instructors.
