My friend and I were looking for something fun to do and this was the perfect experience! We signed up for a beginner friendly class and it was a small group, perfect for learning. We were taught about 3-4 moves and were able to combine them successfully at the end of class. I was really surprised I was able to accomplish some of the moves but the environment was supportive and encouraging -from both the instructor and other students. I’ll definitely be back!

This is the second time I am making this review about my honest experience, Karla is trying to silence me, AGAIN.
Is it worth leaving a craft you deeply cherished, only to endure corrupt leadership, just to protect your mental health? Absolutely. RGV Aerials is far from the nurturing aerial arts community it claims to be. Instead, it operates like a clique, reminiscent of a mean-spirited sorority, where students are mocked and treated as sources of profit. Under Karla’s leadership, the instructors view students as piggy banks, deliberately keeping them at lower skill levels longer than necessary. Behind their smiles, they gossip about students’ form, appearance, and abilities, all while pretending to be supportive “friends.”Initially, the environment feels welcoming. You’re made to feel loved and valued, but this facade quickly fades. The studio’s culture thrives on drama, not education. Instructors prioritize gossip over teaching, undermining the purpose of aerial arts as a safe space to relieve stress and connect with others. When you raise legitimate concerns about professionalism, favoritism, or unethical practices, you’re met with slander, gaslighting, and exclusion. Even constructive criticism can lead to being ostracized or effectively “banned” from the studio, as instructors turn their backs on you. The pattern is clear once you connect the dots: the leadership and staff take pleasure in seeing students struggle. This toxic environment is especially harmful for children, who are often neglected. RGV Aerials is run by adults who behave like middle school bullies, never having outgrown their need to belittle others in the background. For your well-being and your children’s safety, avoid this studio.

It is a wonderful and safe place! I have been attending aerial classes more than two years. I started with no aerial experience and took classes mainly as a distraction. In RGVAerial, I am supported through the instructions' guidance and encouragement. They are professional, patient and nice. The classmates are also supportive and positive. We help each other in the studio. RGVAerial provides all the equipments for the students. The classes are designed and scheduled very well that is suitable for different students' needs. You just sign up and go! This is my second home and I love it so much ♥️

I had such a wonderful time taking a Circus 101 class this past month! I had always been curious about aerial arts but wasn't sure where to start so when I saw this opportunity I decided to finally try it out. I am so glad I did! Karla did a great job at leading us through warm ups and teaching us the basics for silks. She was very encouraging and made sure to help us each out as we tried the different moves. It was so much fun to try out hanging upside down from the silks and I was so happy that I was able to do the two basic tricks she taught us. It was a really great place to start and I am really encouraged to try out a few more classes with RGV Aerial! I am looking forward to going back again!

I am going to be honest, so they can improve their business and the experience people will get. It says come 15 minutes earlier for warm up, the trainer wasn't there until the exact time of starting, would think she was a little more responsible than that and respected other people's times to...as she approached, no smile, did not hear any greeting, and she had us wait while she was preparing for the class. Again no introduction, no smile, not welcoming...my daughter is 12, during class, she could have helped her better, she only explained verbally and did not help correct her body positions physically. I don't see why a instructor can help lead the body to the right position? That's what they do at gymnastics all the time. And warm up was 35 minutes, to long.
Not for youth at all.

I attended a Circus 101 for plus sized bodies class last week. It was my first time taking an RGV Aerial class and it will definitely not be my last. I had so much fun! We focused on silks at this class. I can’t wait to try trapeze next! The class moved at a comfortable pace first starting with warm up stretches then we did some basic maneuvers using the silks that prepared for the last part which was the tricks. Ashley is a wonderful instructor. She took her time explaining/showing us the tricks and offered a few modifications just in case we struggled. Once it was our turn to give it a try, she watched us, offered advice, gave us a little spin when we got a hang of it, and encouraged us to add our own flair to it. I left the class feeling pumped and inspired.

I fell in love with this place and the instructors the moment I set foot in RGVaerial! I had so much fun attending a Circus 101 with a focus on Silks as part of a group with Fit4Mom! It’s a great workout and a fun challenge for upper body, core, and flexibility. I felt like a kid again flipping upside down, climbing up high, and spinning around.
Circus 101 felt accessible to everyone at all levels with modifications and extra assistance from our super awesome instructor, Karla, if needed. It was everything I love doing so I hope to go back very soon!

I acquired RGV Aerial for a community event and they did an amazing job. Karla kept us updated and even came in-person to discuss our vision for the event.
