The program is well structured and easy to follow with step by step eating plan that is the best program I have experienced. The coaches and team at this gym are fantastic, and the facility is always clean and welcoming. The members make it easy to feel right at home. I am so happy I decided to get started with Richardson Fit Body in their +55 Family Fitness Group (not the Boot Camp - I wish). These are my 90 day results that were measured today:
* Carry: increased weight from 20 to 25 lbs and kept the same time! Great job increasing your strength and stamina
* Wall Sit: increased time by 0:21 going from 0:50 to 1:11
* Plank hold: maxed out at 2:00!! Increased by 0:30!
I really notice my increased arm strength. I also want to add that I did all this even though my arthritis hip pain has been increasing. You can do it too with Richardson Fit Body's Family Fitness Class :) Thank you Richardson Fit Body.

After checking out several options, one day I decided to walk in and ask for information — and I immediately felt welcomed. The staff was incredibly kind and professional, which gave me a lot of confidence.

The facilities are excellent, and honestly, I had never worked out like this before. What I appreciate the most is the attention from the instructors: they’re always making sure we do the exercises correctly, avoid injuries, and most importantly, they truly keep us motivated!

Richardson Fit Body is exactly what I needed. I love that we are all there to get stronger to live longer. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and was worried about some of the exercises, but they modify them as needed and really pay attention to your individual needs. I joined Fit Body Forever (55+) a few weeks ago. I am impressed with the workouts and the coaches and their attention to the students. I like that the coaches give options on each exercise for your fitness level and correct where needed. They deserve more than 5 stars!!
I looked at this place more than a year ago, and finally one day I just walk through the door to ask for information. Even though they were busy, they took the time to talk with me and schedule an orientation for the next day. One of my concerns was that I have problems with my knees and I wasn’t sure if this kind of program was for me. Well, this is how they work. They take the time to know you and give you a personal fitness assessment to guide you and show you how to modifying the exercises as needed according to your individual needs. You go at your own pace, and they make sure you do your best. Now, 6 weeks later I am a member, I feel much better physically, mentally and I am able to do things I couldn’t do before. The atmosphere is amazing!! One can tell they have intentionally created an environment full of energy and safety. I highly encourage everyone to come visit if you want to try!! I am sure this is one of the best choices I’ve made for myself!!

UPDATE 8/21/2024 - It's been a little over a year since I started back with FBBC and I can't imagine my life without it. I'm 20 pounds lighter, my back and neck pain are significantly improved, I have more strength and energy, and I look forward to working out at 5:15 AM. How amazing is that?! This is the first gym that i have enjoyed going to. The workouts are never boring or treacherous. I had lost about 40 pounds in 3 months prior to trying this gym and was concerned about the muscle I had lost in the process. I also am diabetic and was requiring several medications ( including 2 types of insulin) for the diabetes. I had also consulted with a neurosurgeon and was considering back surgery for scoliosis. My curve is 38 degrees and I was having severe pain extending down my leg. I have decided to fight very hard to do everything to avoid this surgery because it will be very difficult to recover from and I am only 48 years old. I am a NICU nurse which requires a high level of fitness and work had also become difficult with me missing alot of work. I found it difficult to lift our heaviest patient who weighs about 25 pounds. After attending for about 5 weeks, I have seen so many improvements. I am now off several medications for the diabetes and my labs now are improving to now show prediabetes and my blood pressure and cholesterol medications have also been reduced. My back pain has improved and I am not considering surgery because I feel the pain is manageable. At work, I am able to lift our biggest baby and that has meant so much to me. I have so much more confidence in trying things that I never thought I could do. My clothes are fitting much better and I hope to continue changing fat for muscle. I appreciate that the coaches help me modify many of the things I can’t do yet and quickly correct me if I am doing something wrong so that I don’t hurt myself. I know that this journey will be a long process because I still need to lose about 50 more pounds but I am very grateful for the support of this program and I have gotten much more out of this than I anticipated. Clean facility and up-to-date equipment. The coaches and patrons are all friendly and encouraging. I've only been going about 3 weeks now but I already know I don't want to stop. The workouts rotate so they don't get boring. They can be challenging but you are encouraged to do modifications or go at the pace you need to so you don't injure yourself (this doesn't mean the coaches won't encourage you to continue to push yourself). If you're someone like me who finds it hard to get up and go to the gym solo, then this is a great alternative. There are also online, at-home workouts you can do if you are traveling or just can't make it to a physical class.

Moving to Texas 1.5 years ago and found FitBodyBootCampRichardson. Started my journey and gotten pregnant, took a break and now back at it. I come back here because of the team and environment and the music. Renee has been here since I started and she is an inspiration, her coaching and encouragement really boosts up the process. All of the coaches ( Coach Phil and Diego-are as awesome) knows you by name and they will encourage you all through your workout. Theres never a dull moment and the workouts are always shifted. One of the finer decisions I have made in my life was to sign up at Richardson Fit Body Boot Camp for their Fit Body Forever program. Classes are geared for the over 65 age group they are serious workouts with professional, educated and engaged coaches. I've been there for over a year now and no sign of stopping. A little over five years I have been a Richardson Fit Body Bootcamp member and I still love it!!! 30 minutes is all it takes to do a session. I never did sports, so I have minimal hand eye coordination and generally have little idea what I'm doing at a gym. My anxiety was through the roof at the idea of starting a fitness class journey. But the staff and the members are so kind and supportive.

The trainers met me where I was and helped me adapt stations when my bum knee hurt or kindly and patiently reminded me how to complete a station when my short term memory failed me. They check in on me and are as involved as I want them to be.

The members encourage you and everyone is at a different spot in their health journey and it's a beautiful thing. High fives are given in celebration and I thought I would hate them, but they keep me going 😅

Is this at the top end of my budget? Yes. Has it been worth it? Absolutely. I am stronger and (hate to admit it) happier.

I was visiting my friend and attended classic workout session for 30min. Its always easy to think that we can follow workout videos and get going but its very challenging to do that. After attending 1 session I understood this is what I was looking for since so long but didn’t know existed. They had a great mix of exercises focusing on cardio, strength training, balancing exercises and I really loved the session. The workout structure is so well thought of, with two coaches one motivating and one demoing and helping everyone to do exercise correctly and four exercise stations with each having two sets of exercises which doesn’t let crowding happen and coaches can give equal attention to all. I didn’t even realize when 30min passed by and I finished an amazing workout to keep myself fit. One of the best workouts I’ve come across.

I completed my first week last Friday and all I can say is that I love it. It’s intense But I love it. I’ve never in my life enjoy working out as much as I’m enjoying it now and God knows how much I’ve tried. I loved it so much that I brought a friend to my third session and he also signed up. Fit Body Boot Camp is the only gym program I've stayed with, going on 4 yrs now. The encouragement (try a heavier weight, don't let burpees define you, hold that plank 5 more seconds). I love this place! I've been coming to classes here since Thanksgiving '22. I had a personal trainer before and while it was nice I really wanted to connect with more people and find somewhere closer to home. Everyone at Richardson FBBC is friendly and knowledgable. It doesn't matter your fitness level, they will show you how to do the exercises and come by to help you if needed. They show you ways to make the exercises easier or harder depending on your level. No judgmental gym mentality here. Positive affirmations and encouragement is what you can expect. Even if you attend alone it is easy to make friends. Don't forget to bring your clean shoes to change into and a bottle of water.

I joined during the New Year New You challenge last year, and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with FBBC. I was never able to consistently work out until I found this place, and it has a great atmosphere that beats every other gym I’ve tried hands down. Tom, Katie, the trainers, and everyone I’ve met at the classes are amazing and supportive, and you can tell they want to be there and to help you challenge yourself. Highly recommend trying one of the fitness challenges if you’re unsure — the body scans will change the way you look at weight loss and help you see the real progress beyond just a number on the scale. They’ve also taken great measures to deal with COVID and I’ve never felt unsafe attending a workout in person.
