It's a converted warehouse with poor interior lighting and subpat parking. The whole thing feels very amateur how. But it's served its purpose for use today and the kids were safe.

Yall have a lot of nerve charging the fees you do. Water fountain has been broken for over 2 months, your bathrooms smell like sewage, the doors are often left WIDE OPEN, your vending machines don’t work. People come here for proximity, that’s it.

The staff are so rude and need some serious customer service training or they need to find another job. Reffs are nice and fair but do show favoritism and/or are too laid back on some games.

This one lady is NEVER happy and is always very rude. Previously witnessed her YELL AND DEMAND THAT A PLAYER GET A CARD in front of others when the 60+ years of age lady was kindly asking questions. This is a chubby dark skin lady, big cheeks and walks like she is better than everyone else and treats everyone that way. She has never onced displayed a smile nor said thank you since I have been visiting there. She can use some prayers, love and Jesus in her life.

The facilities themselves are good. The road used as entrance/exit off of 205 leaves a lot to be desired! Expect delays doing either.

New turf on field 2 is absolute trash. You will take a very big risk playing here. There’s a hole under the turf pad on field number 2 that I stepped in and tore several ligaments in my ankle.

I just came from a soccer game here in this location. Is not the first or second this place need to get their referees on check and make sure they are doing their job RIGHT.
So many mistakes I saw that were not called. Not sure if these referees are getting paid on the side OR take teams sides to help other teams win. This is a RIGGED soccer location. I do not recommend coming here for games.
This is upsetting and frustrating because it’s not the first time I witnessed this referees getting caught in the act. I hope this gets resolved and get this refereeing fined or FIRED. If i have to write another review in this location again I will see or find a way to get legal action.
I pay MONEY to these rigged referees to do their job RIGHT and FAIR. This is upsetting and I hope someone contacts to talk more about this. Thank you.

I would not recommend this facility. After 1 season of basketball we will noy be returning. The building needs work, fine, but it was super warm and they wouldn't turn on fans. Our 9/10 year old boys ended up playing kids that were 11/12. Refs are young adults that don't work the court, they don't communicate with the kids and during time outs they just shoot around. We've played multiple seasons of basketball in other places and this was the worst!

Fields are nice but very crowded. Too much going on in a very limited space. The $25 player registration is also very off putting. If pay for one of your leagues why do we still need a player card?

Very disappointed in the sanitary conditions of the female restrooms. There has not been toilet paper for over 1 months. The staff at the front desk says it's locked up but they never go get it. Unacceptable. Bring your own tissue and paper towels. Concession stand also doesn't provide napkins with any purchases.

Do not recommend. I took my kids to try out a month ago and followed up with them each day multiple times to get information. The coach said every kid made the team and it was just about what teams they would be on and would reach out within a day. Each time we were given the run around. Keep in mind they make you pay $15 for each child to try out. They FINALLY returned our call only tonight 9/24/24 only to find out that the season is almost over and there are only two games left and a tournament. The director stated they could play the last two games but still had to pay the tournament fee. She claimed they lost our contact information and that’s why we were never given any information. I bet they didn’t lose the $30 I paid. 🙄 contacting them everyday, multiple times a day is not enough. They’re clearly money hungry and promote these try outs to make money then never reach out again. Ridiculous and unprofessional.

After my recent experience participating in a competitive league game, I will not be returning or bringing my friends here again. Initially, the experience was positive, but as our team advanced to the playoffs, we encountered several issues. We were faced with stipulations that prohibited my friends—who had previously played with us—from participating, due to claims by the league of an unfair advantage against another playoff team.

The situation worsened when the director intervened on the day of the playoffs. Players who had been on our team from the beginning were questioned for the first time, and even the reception staff got involved. The director claimed that allowing some of our players to participate would be unfair and initially permitted us to choose three out of our eight additional players who had played in multiple games. However, just ten minutes later, we were informed that only two additional players from the same group would be allowed.

Initially, I was skeptical about these claims, but as the game progressed, we faced unfair calls and experienced disrespectful behavior from referees, including remarks such as "we don’t know volleyball" despite our team consisting of college-level players. The referees’ behavior was unprecedentedly unprofessional, especially considering our team’s high level of experience.

Additionally, there were financial concerns. To participate, we had to pay an entry fee and an additional $25 for a card required for playoff games. While the cost itself is not a major issue, it is problematic that friends who were excluded from playing due to the league’s stipulations were not reimbursed.

Given these experiences, I cannot recommend participating in this league unless you have a close relationship with the director. The league appears to be rigged, with favoritism leading to an unfair competitive environment. For non-league volleyball, other aspects of the facility may be satisfactory, but I strongly advise against engaging in their competitive leagues.

One soccer field turf is literally patched together. The AC is almost none function and the parking lot has holes that will kill your tires..... Really wish some money would be put into this place, it could be great.

This place is really going downhill.
We have a feels like temp outside of 111 and the air conditioner is not working.
I asked about it and the young girls up front don’t know. I asked if they told the manager, but he’s “not here.” Lucky him!

FYI - *AmeriSports is cool AND you don’t have to worry about damaging your car in all the parking lot holes.
* I am not affiliated with either business.

There are still leaks in the roof so wet spots occur when playing basketball. The A/C hasn’t worked in years and they still have done nothing to fix it. The referees, other than 2, are GOD awful and they don’t replace them. They replaced one net with a highlighter green net for 3 weeks. You’re a sports facility, why do you not have extra stuff on deck there? They make us buy these cards but then no one ever checks them for fairness on the teams. They take forever updating things online like game times and scores and ranks. So many bad issues but charge way more money than any other place I’ve played basketball on in Rowlett or Dallas. All about making money and not keeping the facility in good state or their customers happy.

This place is disgusting! It has gone down so much. It smells horrible in here, the mats have tape on them to keep them together. A bunch of areas look condemned & trashed. The doors are supposed to be white , they’re dingy grey. Even hand & mouth spit on all the glass…absolutely awful. The list can go on & on! I hadn’t been here since my granddaughter played volleyball last summer & boy oh boy no love what so ever. Just cause there may or may not be a new one being built doesn’t mean they should neglect this place. A place can be falling apart but good grief KEEP IT SANITIZED & CLEAN!!!

Definitely overdue for the health inspector to come out.

Every summer they promise to fix the A/C and every summer it's the same excuses. It is ridiculously HOT inside and only a few of their fans work but there's no cool air to circulate. Counting down the days until the new sports facility in Rockwall opens up!!

My experience at the RISW has been really good. After we moved to Rockwall a couple of years ago my son David was begging for a place to play soccer. This facility was the only one open and there was a club team practicing on the RISW back fields. It was just what we needed. In fact, when weather got bad the team could move indoors. Not too many facilities have that as a possibility. David has now played in RISW leagues, tournaments, camps, and continues weekly to do skills training in one of the back rooms. Having a facility with both indoor and outdoor fields means that the kids can have practices and games no matter the conditions. That is NICE!!!

Also, I have met one of the new owners and can tell you, he is great, and he loves soccer. Not to mention, his son is close in age to mine, and they even practiced together on occasion. In fact, he is a former pro soccer player and has been working to develop what is going on there. I see new clubs playing there all the time. He really wants to see this place thrive.

I cannot really speak for the other sports, except to say that the place is full of kids and parents passionate about Volleyball, Basketball, and gymnastics as well. Fun to see so much youth development going on all at once.

Pretty well designed place, there are seats on the 2nd floor so you can always see you kid play. Or you can stand on the first floor and watch through the glass. Things to consider: it is very loud so if your kid is sensitive to sounds or stimuli they could be overwhelmed (ear plugs).
It is a sports facility and there is an odor of "Athletics".
Also bleachers on second floor are more designed for adults then children. The seats and the footrest are spread out more than usual so children have a difficult time and mine were scared of falling through them. Looks to me like kids (17 and up) basically run it and fortunately, they're all well-mannered and polite.
Getting a membership was painless but through an App so if you're not tech-savvy, you'll need their support.
Overall a good experience and I like going there...no if the facility would post a sign that says parents have to let the coach do his job and not try to do it for him. Ha!
