Rockwall swim school does an amazing job teaching not only water safety, but advanced swimming as well. The classes are smaller, so they are really able to work with the kids on their individual needs, to great success. The staff is top notch as well. Jewell is always willing to help in whatever way she can, she is personable and runs a great program. Heidi is an outstanding swim coach, and my son has grown in leaps and bounds as a swimmer under her instruction. Highly, highly recommend!

This swim school is the best prep for water safety or year-round swimming. It is pretty booked up all year, but especially in the summer. Jewel and Heidi are the best! You can't beat them if you want a good foundation for year-round competitive swimming.

My daughter has been enrolled with Rockwall Swim School for a few months after transitioning from a swim safety program and all she has done is excelled ever since. Being only three years old, she's had the amazing opportunity to work with both Heidi's--starting in a level that included swimming off of a platform, and now swimming with older kids, utilizing the full lap pool. I'm amazed at her progress and so grateful for her instructors!

My daughter has always loved the water and although she's not new to swimming, I encourage any parent to enroll their child--beginner or not--because the instructors are amazing and work so well with the kids. Another thing I love is that the kids get to stay in the water the entire time during their lesson. What do I mean by that? Well...RSS does a good job at capping instructor/child ratio at 1:3, giving great attention and care to each student. While working with one child, the other children get to stay in the water and get more comfortable, versus just sitting on the edge "waiting their turn". I love this because it's allowed my daughter to truly explore the water during her 30 minute session. Which is a true 30 minute session in the water (not a few minutes to walk in, a few minutes to get out and shower etc.--a true 30 minutes).

The facility is great--parents can sit in stands up top and watch classes and it gives students/kids independence that I enjoy. It's been great working with Jewell as well--awesome communication about classes and my daughter's progress. From instructor feedback to program information, she's been the best point of contact! Did I mention I love both coach Heidi's! They have challenges and loved on my daughter and pushed her to grow the entire way!

So yea, this is a long review, ha, but I truly recommend the Rockwall Swim School program to parents, especially for toddlers. My daughter has fun, has met kids that have become friends outside of RSS, and is progressing into a great swimmer. We love it and don't plan on giving up our slow anytime soon, ha.

Jewel and Rockwall Swim School are such an incredible and valuable asset for the Rockwall community! Both of my children started lessons with Heidi and Jewel many years ago. They both went on to compete with the RACE club team and I could not be more thankful for both entities! When I get the chance to go watch practice, I love watching the work that Jewel and RSS are doing with such young babies and older children. They are the best for teaching children how to get comfortable with the water and for getting them ready for a competitive team. Just to address a previous comment I saw, parents are always allowed to watch the entire lesson from the stands. Being a swim parent for over a decade, I can assure you this is not a RSS rule, it is a USA Swimming rule. USA Swimming has a ton of information about Safe Sport on their website that may help with understanding why some rules are in place. Due to so many minors being on deck and in the locker rooms, it is really the best for all the kid's and adult's protection. As far as the set up of the building, that was built by RISD, so I would recommend any suggestions for add ons be directed to the school district. Rockwall Swim School and their team are really the best for teaching children to be safe in the water and how to swim all 4 strokes!

Years ago I gave a 5 star review and they were wonderful. Fast forward 3 kids through years of lessons, and the program has gone way downhill. They cancel regularly. The staff at the gym are extremely rude. Parents can no longer watch. They send 3 year old kid to walk by themselves out to the hall to go find their parents. You can’t use the bathroom downstairs. When you need to change, or you drive 40 minutes to get to class, and your toddler needs to use the bathroom before class, you have to hike all the way to the top then come back down to take your kid, then go back up to watch them from afar. Zero customer service at all anymore. So disappointed after years of loving the swim class. Would give zero stars for our experience the last 6 months, but our actual swim instructor Heidi is AMAZING! We will truly miss her.

My favorite thing about the Rockwall Swim School is the consistent message and lessons on safety. Ms. Heidi, Ms. Kassi, and Ms. Jewell and other instructors provide an amazing service and mold great swimmers. Ms. Heidi is one of my children’s current instructor and is fun and serious at the same time, and very aware of developmental and emotional needs of students. Both of my children are now swimming with Rockwall Swim School and loving it. My children have progressed from being afraid to go underwater to absolutely loving it and learning a number of strokes. Kids will enjoy swimming here and parents will have the piece of mind that their kids are becoming safer in the water.

When our daughter started her swimming career at the Rockwall Swim School, our objective was for her to safely learn how to swim.
Heidi and the staff did an absolutely incredible job not only teaching her swimming basics, but proficiency in all four swimming strokes, as well as water safety. Today our daughter swims on one of the competitive swim teams at the Aquatic Center. When our son became old enough to learn how to swim, without hesitation, we called Jewell to sign him up with the Rockwall Swim School. The staff is very friendly and courteous, promoting a great environment for children to learn. I simply cannot recommend them enough!

Rockwall Swim School is amazing. The instructors are fully engaged in the swimmers and very professional. My daughter took from the in the beginning of her swim career with Ms. Heidi and quickly became proficient in all her strokes. My, grandkids have been going since February 2016. They really look forward to there classes each week. Amazing the progress they have made in such a short time. Twins, really like there teacher and all the staff is so patient and kind to ALL the children. Heidi and Jewel, work well together making sure that you are totally satisfied with your swim lessons. My daughter loves Ms. Heidi and Ms. Jewell. The staff is very efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. I was only taking her to learn basics on how to swim and water safety. She is now doing the breaststroke, backstroke, and learning more everyday.

Some days are louder than others because of the swim teams. If you tell them you have a nervous child, they will fit you in at a more quiet time.

Rockwall swim school has been so rewarding for both Zachary and Abigail. They have learned so much in so little time. I cannot say enough good things about Rockwall Swim School. It is good quality instruction and the teachers work really well with the kids. Our three kids have made tremendous strides in their swimming abilities. They are very accomodating if you need to reschedule a lesson. Jewell has really helped our 3.5 year olds develop the skills needed to swim independently and our 5.5 year old is progressing with different techniques and greater distance. My son has been going to Rockwall Swim school for about nine months now. He LOVES all the instructors. I am very impressesd with the way they really work with the kids. When he started he was about 2 1/2, and was very skeptical. They made sure he had the same instructor every time so he could build a relationship with her. What started out for us as a "one time" swim lesson package to make me feel better being out on our boat with him has turned in to MUCH more. He is now learning techniques & how to help someone if they fall in the water. The staff is ALWAYS kind & energetic. They work around my schedule and are very helpful. I HIGHLY recommend Rockwall Swim School for anyone who is thinking about getting lessons for their little ones!!!

Horrible. This is a unorganized establishment. Seems to be run by a mother and her two daughters. Though the daughter I dealt with was nice, and took her time with my son to make him comfortable. I had to call several times. Often was told I would get a response by means of a text. I scheduled an evaluation for my son last summer to determine what teacher/class would be good for him. My son was very afraid of the water. It was loud and very busy. She said she would have to get back with me to see when they could fit him in the schedule. She never contacted me again! I guess they decided he was too much work. I decided I deserve much better service than this. Go elsewhere! Rockwall deserves better service. Demand it.

So nice some parents were asked to review after my post. Nice touch. Interesting no one thought it was so nice prior to this point.
