Great results! I joined 6 weeks ago and I am surprised by how much more powerful and toned I already feel. Each week I feel stronger and able to improve my rowing form. Honestly, I did not think I would enjoy simply rowing at multiple classes per week. However, everyone is so friendly and the classes are as challenging as you want them to be. There are many consistent attendees who make it their mission to make all feel welcome. The class time flies by.

This location texted me asking if I would like to come in and pick up a $100 gift card. I drove all the way there just for them to tell me that it’s not a gift card and it’s actually $100 off when I make a purchase of $125, $150, or $200. That context was not provided whatsoever in the text. I am a busy college student so I don’t appreciate the company texting “Hey want a free gift card…Would you like me to hook you up for free?” just to desperately draw costumers in. I would’ve actually been more likely to get a membership if that context was provided to me. Now I will never go to RowHouse again because that’s incredibly corny and LAME. Reeks of desperation and is very inconsiderate. 0/10

This is the next best thing to personal training. You can't help but remain motivated as the coaches and crew motivate one another. There's never a bad day after rowing. This is the first form of exercise I have stuck to since I was in my 20's getting ready for my wedding. This self-care is better than any other I've found.

Sometimes you wanna go
Where everybody knows your name
And they're always glad you came
You wanna be where you can see (ah-ah)

You wanna be where everybody knows your name.

The Row House is really an amazing, fun, and friendly way to get in shape or stay in shape. I’ve never been successful at making fitness a regular part of my life. But here, with the awesome coaches, the crew mates, the energy in this place….i have now come to row classes nearly every day for 2 1/2 years. If I can do it, you can too!

I decided to try Row House because one of my friends encouraged me. After 3 weeks, I am addicted.
In 45 minutes I get cardio, raise my endorphins, burn calories and stress. The coaches are so friendly and encouraging. The other rowers are friendly and non Judgmental. What a fabulous fitness community.

I am loving rowing at Row House! I gave it a try because traditional working out was starting to hurt more body parts than help. Rowing is SO much easier on my joints than I even imagined that I am a bit sad I didn’t try it sooner. Row House classes also involves stretching and weights so it a full body workout without the stress of the pounding at a gym. And the coaches have been so helpful song encouraging! Come give it a try…you won’t be sorry!!

Row House Fitness is exactly what I needed to ignite a desire for regular exercise. Top reasons: (1) complete full body/low impact workout on ONE machine (2) supportive welcoming community of ALL ages (3) motivating coaches with a positive mindset (4) super comfortable and squeaky clean indoor studio and (5) ALL skill levels welcome-no judgement, just support.
Row House coaches and staff sincerely look out for us "crew". Shout out to the 1:1 training sessions which gave my workout (and calorie burning) a huge boost. BCS is lucky to have a Row House Fitness center run by awesome people who truly care about their members.

Go try, I recommend Coach Michelle Restore to learn rowing at a slower pace. Then add a class two, three, or four with off the erg body or weighted exercise.

One year ago I would not have been able to pull stakes buried 2 feet deep out of the ground with my bare hands. Sunday I found out I could. It’s thanks to the amazing Coaches and Crew. That I am able to do it. After a year at Row House not only am I physically stronger but my mental health is stronger too.
Row House is the best gym in town!!! The coaches and crew are amazing! So full of energy and encouragement. I love being able to customize my workouts through the app. The variety of different classes, coaches and fun themed rows keeps me coming back. The coaches are really hands on and can help you choose what classes are best suited for you. I’ve been rowing every day since March 2022 I have lost 20 LBS of fat and have gotten a nice tone to my arms, legs and core.

Row House has a friendly, supportive staff, the members are very welcoming, and the environment is positive and fun. The full-body workout is as intense as you’re capable of and can be tailored to one’s own individual limitations (e.g., back problems, arthritis, etc). I have an unlimited membership and go almost everyday, sometimes twice a day. Early morning workouts are a surprisingly great way to start the day! I am already seeing a difference after only a month and definitely recommend it for anyone.

“Experts” say find an activity that you enjoy so that you will be more likely to stick with it and stay consistent with getting exercise. Row House College Station definitely fits that bill. The energetic and supportive coaches, variety of music, fun special events, and awesome vibe with every class, makes this is the most fun workout I’ve ever done. Friend and instructor, Kasey, recommended I try a class. With a background in fitness, but no experience in rowing, I had to give it a try. Their signature class was a combination of cardio and weights perfect for an all over body burn! I was also pleased to see traditional yoga stretches properly used at the end of class. Not only is this class amazing, but a multitude of work out styles are offered so there is something for everybody. All that being said, what most impressed me was not the class itself, but the facility, staff, and culture of the operation! The owner, coaches, and participants were all welcoming, encouraging, and prioritized education and technique. Once again, could not be more impressed with this operation and will be highly recommending it to all of my friends in the community!

Wonderful place! I always hated gyms but this is the first place that made me passionate about exercising. I’m a cyclist and hate running so I was looking for place that would help me strengthen my upper body and the Row House was a perfect place for that goal. The Row House is unique in what you put into your workout is what results you are going to get out of the workout. This is very nice because some days, I need my workouts to be chill, and other days I need my workouts to be more aggressive. Regardless of what you pick, no one knows your results but you, so I get to choose my level of comfort, which makes it where I don’t need to go to several gyms but one.
My job is very demanding and requires a lot of thinking, so I use rowing to process all my thoughts and clear my head. In the past five months of starting Row House, I have dropped two pant sizes. I see results not only physically but mentally by rowing.

My boyfriend and I were very excited to find a workout that we could do together. The workout itself is hit or miss. Our free trial class was with an instructor who was very easy to understand and who kept to the rhythm of the music. I felt like she kept our heart rates up and helped instruct us how to properly engage our back muscles. However, once we signed up, we found that the other instructors were not as good at keeping the beat (which is one of the reasons I liked the workout so much). One instructor would also yell what I assume was "rowing terminology," but with no explanation, it just detracted from the workout.
You also have an expectation to row together, and a couples times, it was a little frustrating to feel like I was forced to row at a pace that was wayyy too slow.
My other complaint is that it was difficult to snag a class time (or class instructor) I wanted because all the evening time slots would fill up quickly, and I did not have a consistent schedule that would allow me to book well in advance.
Overall, it was a fun thing to try, and it might be good for early birds who don't have to compete for evening slots. But BEWARE-- you will hear from this company for the rest of eternity if you provide them with your telephone number. I brought a friend to try out the class, and while she loved the workout, she was so turned off that they would not leave her alone that she decided against signing up.

This is a great workout and I loved it so much, the only problem honestly is the cost. I'm low income and I think they are targeting well-off customers. I was made to feel welcome but when it came to being able to come back I just can't justify the cost I'd love to get a membership so I don't have to worry about class credits expiring but I'd have to chose between it and seeing my doctor. I really can't figure out why the prices are so high. I want to go back but the price is so intimidating... which makes me so sad because I loved it there, I loved the workout, the people around. I'm not sure who control the pricing but I hope they might rethink some of their pricing so that low income customers can make this a regular part of their life. It'd be so worth it.

I have so far attended three of the types fo rowing classes The Row House of College Station offers: the signature, full row, and power. All three of the experiences were incredibly positive.
The coaches were extremely kind, enthusiastic, and were able to provide me with critiques on how I could correct my form to become a better rower and get more out of my workouts. The environment of each class was very community oriented and I appreciated how each member of the class encouraged each other throughout the workouts.
As for the workouts themselves, I felt like I was able to catch on and keep up with the rest of the class even though I was a beginner. This motivated me to continue to push myself throughout each session and I felt very accomplished at the end of each session.

Row House helped get me moving after major back and nerve issues! I have rods in my back and a fused spine. I also have nerve damage and a minor drop foot. I was a runner for 30+ years and because the drop foot I can no longer safely run and really needed to find a new aerobic activity. I saw Row House, googled it to see what it was about, doubted I could do it because of my limited mobility but decided to give it a try. 6 months and 485,000 meters later I could not be happier!!! Don’t let back and mobility issues keep you from trying Row House! The staff/coaches are FANTASTIC and are more than willing to work with you in any way. Don’t doubt yourself and give it a try...I have a sciatic nerve flare up about every other week and yet I can still row!

I had a fantastic experience at the Row House in College Station. I signed up my daughters and I as mother daughter bonding time. One of them was not feeling well so I had to call like two hours prior to cancel a rower and it was super easy with pleasant “I hope she feels better soon.” That was only the beginning of how pleasant and wonderful all the staff are at this fun place. The coaches are excellent and positive: the pace of the work out is up to your own ability but the coach was very encouraging. The environment is welcoming and so clean! No sweaty smell here at all! Both my daughter and I are super competitive: we sat next to each other and towed our hearts out. We had a great time rowing and bonding while competing.

I’m so glad they brought row house here to college station! I’m a fan of instructor led workouts, without them I just walk on the treadmill for 30 mins. Workouts at Row House are 45 mins long, the staff learns your name and you always feel welcome.

I have had such an amazing experience at Row House. The workout is fantastic! The coaches motivate you to be your best. The front desk crew is helpful with a friendly smile and a positive attitude. I love that the other members are also encouraging to each other. We are all part of the same team. If you are ready to be part of an awesome team, go try a class. The first class is always free so you have nothing to lose.

I love this place!! I hadn't worked out in over 2 years when I decided to give Row House a try. I don't like (and can't really tolerate) things that are hard impact - so I thought this would be a great alternative. There are different classes to choose from (some get you off the "erg" for a few minutes of weight, body weight, or stretching work) - but all of them focus on rowing as a "team" with a coach to lead you through the workout. The encouragement of "my" coaches and fellow "crew" help get me through the workout when I'm feeling my age! ;) Plus, you get an email after each workout that tells you your stats for THAT workout - plus what you did compared to last time - so you can see how you are improving each time you show up!! Your first class is free - so come out and give it a try!!

Ok, I’m a coach at Row House so, of course, I’m going to recommend. We have a great crew of coaches and staff that are here to give you, not only a great workout, but also a great experience.
Now let me tell you why I personally would recommend even if i didn’t coach. I workout and run a lot! Rowing is the one thing I’ve found that I can do, work hard, and walk away not feeling destroyed. Honestly, this is just what I’ve needed to compliment my running. The pain in my knees and heal has disappeared completely in just first four weeks of rowing. My body is getting stronger and I’m still working hard and recovering better.
Enough about me!! We have the best members on our crew! Everyone is welcoming to new members. Everyone leaves with a smile because every workout is like a party! One of the things I love seeing is husbands and wives working out side-by-side. Not competing with each other, just each getting a great workout at the intensity they need. Go try! See for yourself! This workout is for everyBODY!
