Coach Emery is absolutely amazing! She is so warm, welcoming, dedicated, patient, skilled, supportive, motivating and talented. She is absolutely the best! Both my daughters have been doing gymnastics for years at other places. 2 lessons at Rowland Ballard Atascocita with coach Emery and they both have learned more in those 2 lessons than they have all year.

I first met Mrs Dena Campbell back when she was a head coach over 8 years ago. She always stood out with her vibrant energy, enthusiasm, patience, plethora of ideas, compassion, motivating spirit and love for the kids. As soon as she entered the gymnasium, you could feel her energy and passion. Now as the director at Atascocita Rowland Ballard, she always stands out with her motivating aura, energy, helping nature, superb critiquing skills, patience, love and dedication to our kids. Mrs Dena is a vital backbone to the staff at Rowland Ballard Atascocita which makes RB Atascocita far surpass any other gymnasium we have been to over the years and I’m so happy we are blessed to have her there.

I want to share how wonderful and fun my granddaughter’s birthday party was…the kids had a blast! The coaches were fun and sweet and made my granddaughter feel so special! They all loved the free play time but especially loved the ninja coarse! The party room was beautiful and they helped me set up for food and cake and served it for me. It was a great experience by all and I would highly recommend. My granddaughter also takes classes here and the staff and coaches are always so fun and supportive of the little kids learning!

I have been taking my toddler to this gymnastics for about a year now and coach hope has been working with us from the beginning. I must add that the growth in my toddler's behavior has been very positive. We went from a grumpy running girl to a more oriented one, we had our ups and downs in her behavior but with the positive and constant intervention of our coach we can now follow directions and our melt downs have decreased.

Our experience at this gym had been great! My two girls have been at Rowland Ballard -Atascocita for over 5 yrs. One thing that keeps us coming back is the coaching staff. Coach Emery is simply the best!!! She is not only passionate about teaching those under her and their safety, but committed to her students' growth. At times my daughter felt defeated when she couldnt nail her skill, but Coach Emery was attentive and encouraging all the way. She developed strategic plans to get her motivated and propelled her to break through the mental blocks holding her back. We have enjoyed Rowland Ballard since my daughter started preschool gymnastics at 3. All the coaches are so great and the camps have always been fun for her as well!

She's on a competition team now and her coach, Coach Brandy, is so great with the girls! She is always patient but keeps them focused (which is where mine struggles) and I have seen her skills grow more in the last few months than the last year on this team! Coach Brandy always takes the time to talk to us after practice and keep us updated on the girls development.

Yesterday was Ah-mazing! We celebrated my babies turning 7 with a “candyland themed party” We had pizza, cupcakes and a candy bar!

Shout out to the staff at Rowland Ballard - Atascocita (Emory, Joshua, Hunter, Sam) who went above and beyond to make sure my girls day was special! They met me at the door asking me what I needed help unloading from my car! Then they unboxed everything and asked me what I needed help setting up and immediately went to work and got it all set up before the first guests arrived (#easiestsetupever ) !! The front desk staff checked everyone in and answered questions anyone might have had! They entertained the kids with open gym, and games, and had staff on hand at all times to make sure every child was staying safe and having fun! They then helped pass out pizza, fill candy bags, and hand out cupcakes! At the end they made sure the kids all got their shoes on, helped load up everything in my car, and then began clean up! They were soo helpful every step of the way! I 10/10 recommend having your birthday party there! Thank you for making 7 sooo Sweet! 🎉🥳🎈🎁🍾🪩🍕🧁💃🕺🤸‍♀️

STAY AWAY! Rowland Ballard has recently been sold to new owners and what was once a wonderful home for many families and athletes in the community has changed and not for the good. There has been ZERO communication from the new owners - Powers Gymnastics Group (Jill Powers and Trevor Thompson) - since they have taken over. People literally found out the gym was sold on Facebook! We were told they would introduce themselves - they never did. We were told there would be “no changes.” More lies. The Dance director who’s been there for decades is now gone and the gymnastics Director, who’s been there 20 years, was then fired (which we also found out about on Facebook!) And now, they just cut the entire team program leaving every single one of those 60+ girls heartbroken and either scrambling to find a new gym or leaving them no choice but to quit the sport they love. It is very clear they do not care about the loyal coaching staff, the parents, or the athletes. This is solely about greed and money. Do not give them a penny!

They are getting rid of ALL of their team classes and getting rid of a bunch of other classes and majorly hiking up the prices. We are now looking for a new gym.
