I first started coming to the Rudra Center in 2012. It is a place rich in teachings of Self knowledge. I learned practicality of meditation, energy and spirituality, so much so, that it propelled me to become a meditation teacher and Tai Chi instructor.

I highly recommend doing a class here whether you’re seeking more knowledge on how to bring more practicality to spirituality, or you want to learn more about your true Self, the Rudra Center has a vast amount of offerings to need the desire of a true Seeker.

This is a great place to start developing a spiritual foundation. Teachings are taught in a way that are understood for beginners and more advanced practitioners. The Wednesday classes are my favorite. Highly recommend those. The garden is also really cool looking, and there’s so much awesome art and statues. Overall, heartful community.

The Rudra Center For Enlightened Awareness is a place where beings come to understand the nature of reality in its fundamental basis,The mind and phenomena. It is an authentic temple where a teacher aka a guru transmits his own understanding experience and realization to all those that come and attend, in whatever degree of frequency and intensity that manifests according to the wishes of the individual . Therefore some could come for a stroll around the garden and meditate, and one could attend programs such as meditation classes according to the tradition of the teacher(more on that later) different psychology classes inspired by the many traditional lineages the teacher holds and transmits ect , all the way along to his accomplished students who share the methods they received via their teacher and others who strive to apply those methods to benefit beings. Understood simply as relieving suffering of oneself and others.

The specific tradition of this school is very clear once you come to learn about all the historical practical details.The teacher who was once a student (and still is ) has fervently followed the teachings of his masters, who he kept the heart bond with, thereby receiving the transmission and continues to hold the living breathing lineage in his heart up to this very day. The teacher known affectionately as Silverji, shares this lineage with others in an explicit and implicit capacity. I personally am a student of many years, and I maintained the heart bond with Silverji. In my personal account he is undeniably an authentic teacher of an authentic lineage, has manifested the external signs of understanding experience and realization, and the warmth of a loving heart that wishes to benefit all beings, a modern day American Bodhisattva Siddha. Whether one has the inclination and to what degree to engage with the energy and information that is radiating via the Rudra center and its inhabitants, is entirely dependent on the karmic makeup of the individual. So this temple is not recruiting students in the business way of understanding the success of such an enterprise. It benefits individual in varying degrees of involvement from very practical to intimate subjective spiritual engagements, According to the wishes of the individual and in collaboration with others namely The teacher Silverji and Living residential students who attend and teach themselves various disciplines. Fortunate is the whole planet that communities such as the Rudra Center and many other Communities around the planet exist, communities who put their nose down and benefit self and other as a lifestyle via outward and inward effort. I came across The Rudra Center while attending North Texas University as a full time student. I was having trouble taking care of myself.

I went to my first yoga class & many other programs offered and within a short time, found enormous relief and a healthy direction going forward.

There are many instructors well-qualified who have the ability to assist others, who may be troubled while going through the turmoil of everyday living. They helped me, when I was most in need. I am eternally grateful to this diamond in the heart of Denton, Texas.

A life changing place and people. A great community for support and spiritual growth. If they seem rough at first, give them another shot and try any of their special offerings, such as the monthly Thunder Smoke Lodge or any classes they offer on some Saturdays and full moon ceremonies. It simply is the best place I’ve found in Texas personally, or otherwise. Would love nothing more to come back and stay there regularly, just had my own things to deal with and wished to spread my wings. Yet, I wish nothing more than the best for this place and leader, Silver Ra. Thanks for all that you guys do! You’re heroes! I had a profound experience I could only describe as transformative at the open eyed meditation tonight. My vision was sublimely effected. After almost 6 years of living in and around Denton I have finally made my personal discovery of this mystical place. I stumbled upon Rudra center by complete accident yesterday when deciding to take a side road home. I saw the architecture and immediately parked to pay a visit. Such a peaceful and spiritual place. I've been having some hardships as of late and as soon as I walked though the entrance I had a moment to just reflect and feel at ease. I had an urge to place a small glass stone I had in my car at the base of the Ganesh statue as a thanks for me finding this hidden gem. Going to be paying a visit again soon to enroll in their Tai chi classes. All my years living in Denton I had no clue this place existed.
