Found Satya Yoga this summer when I was looking for new ways to challenge myself. Having never done yoga before I was very apprehensive. Janie Montague, the instructor my first morning, made me feel at ease from the warm welcome she extended. After taking advantage of the first class free and $20 unlimited for 10 consecutive days promotions, I was hooked enough to enroll in Satya Yoga’s unlimited membership. Janie and Amy Price, who teaches the Yogalates class, keep me coming back often. Very welcoming studio, friendly people, and very soothing environment. 💕

I was introduced to Satya two years ago and couldn’t be more pleased with the beautiful and clean studio, knowledgeable and friendly instructors, and types of classes offered. Whether you’re just starting yoga or have been practicing for years, the studio offers a comfortable space. Kristina, the owner, is actively engaged and committed to creating community.

I can’t speak highly enough of what a beautiful space Satya is! The approach from every teacher seems always gentle, accessible, and kind! Janie is one of my fav instructors and she’s taught me a ton! Kristina, the owner, has always been a ray of sunshine and one of the kindest people I’ve ever met!

It is very unfortunate that I am having to provide a 1 star review because this place does offer wonderful classes an instructors.
Previously I purchased 20 classes and was told that they do not expire at the time of purchase, yet here we are. Now I am being told that I’m a liar and that, “no one that works here would have said that to me.”
I had between 10-13 classes still remaining and they “expired”
I did not sign up for a membership, so I find it odd that my classes would expire and the owner Kristina thinks it is right for her to not even offer me some of those classes back or reimbursement. That is $150 worth of classes.
This is wrong on so many levels.
The only thing she felt she could offer me was a “discount” for more purchased classes! How laughable 😂🙁🫣
Great studio…poor leadership.

Loved my experience here! This was my first yoga experience and honestly it’s going to be hard to top! Kristina (owner) and Ashley (instructor) were very personable and very helpful. They made the environment so soothing and the studio is very nice! The classes are also very fairly priced ($24/class) and they offer memberships as well. I work in software development so a bit stressful and this class (restorative yoga and meditation) was exactly what I needed to relax and just get my mind off of work for an hour. I appreciated how Kristina immediately noticed I was new and took her time to show me around and make me feel comfortable. The studio is also very clean, props well maintained, and definitely no lingering smells like a typical gym. You can tell this place is ran with genuine love and care! Will definitely be back, and I recommend you give it a chance too! Thank you Satya Yoga! :)

Such a wonderful studio. The moment I walked in the energy was so happy & warm. I really appreciate how kind & gentle Courtney’s energy is, makes trying a new place less scary.
The full body stretch was extremely relaxing. My body feels so incredible, I hope I get to visit Dallas again just to be able to come here. Thank you!

I love this studio. Courtney's restorative class was just what I needed today. She is an incredible and safe teacher and offers modifications for everything. I felt taller and more relaxed leaving her class. I would highly recommend both this studio and her as a teacher!

Beautiful space, unpretentious crowd, thoughtful class amenities like booster pillows, well-spaced and pre-set yoga mats, and towels.
I was greeted by the owner Kristina, who has a naturally open spirit.
The floor space is very clean and heated to a comfortable warmth.
The diverse attendees were respectful of the energy of the space.
Overall, I found this studio a calm, welcoming and inclusive space.
Strongly recommend and will return, particularly for the deep stretch class!

I came to Satya for a random class on a total whim about a year ago--and I haven't stopped coming back since. All of the instructors are excellent and bring something unique to their classes, and the vibe is extremely welcoming and open. Can't recommend enough as your yoga home!

I'm fairly new to yoga and love going to classes at Satya. The teachers and environment are very welcoming - even for those of us who aren't familiar with all of the poses. And they do a lot of different types of classes. Would definitely recommend!

I have been to many yoga studios in the DFW area and I am so grateful I have discovered Satya! What an incredible group of people. Every teacher at this studio is incredibly talented and caring. The energy is contagious when you walk in the door. I love what they have created, a space that holds exactly what you need whether that is yin or a sculpt class or deep stretch. There is something for everyone. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this space!

I joined this studio after the new owners took over. I’ve never done yoga before and I drive from Las Colinas to Dallas to attend this studio. It’s a very clean studio, I’ve seen the owner disinfect as I was leaving so I don’t worry about attending during the pandemic. Also, it’s not intimidating. As a newby to yoga, I’ve found some studios worry about getting people in and out and don’t focus on form and experience. The instructors and the owner ask for feedback to improve my experience as well as their teaching knowledge. I highly recommend this studio for beginners and yoga veterans. The instructors teach multiple classes at all levels and it’s been nice to see my improvement as I move through the classes.

Greetings,
.
When I initially reached out to this establishment the communication was great and the energy was superb. I was so excited to get started with Yin Yoga for the very first time in my life. This was my first experience with a yoga establishment. I drive about 20 to 25 minutes to come to this one in specific. The owner gave me a free blouse which I thought was a very kind gesture.
.
The yoga instructors are amazing, patient and they are always smiling. The facility is very clean, it smells great and its so welcoming. I became so much more still in my mind after attending for about 1.5 months and more bendy which is what I needed being that Yin Yoga honors stillness.
.
The owner always corresponded with me and catered to my needs as I was attending this facility.
.
Unfortunately, I end up catching COVID and out of respect I didn't return. My intention was to return after I was fully restored. Thoughtfully I received a message on Instagram from the owner, and she expressed how much she missed me coming and when I would be returning,
.
I expressed to her what was going on with me. She advised me that I would need to re register because they got a new system. Prior to the new system I had purchased 5 pre paid classes. I asked her if she still had record of my classes at 12:23pm. She seen my message on Instagram because Instagram let's you know when someone views your message but she failed to respond at all.
.
I then, sent a question mark at 5:01pm asking about my classes again and she immediately responded and stated there was no record of my purchase. I sent her a screen shot on my phone verifying my purchase. She failed to respond after seeing my message once again. Finally, I told her to please process a refund for my $70.00. She failed to respond.
.
Since I got no response I text messaged her on her business line;the main phone is a text or call phone. I mentioned to her I'm copying our discussion via social media and sending it to you directly through all your communication channels ( cell, social media and email) to ensure you have received it. Before I could send an email she responded saying via cell it was a family emergency. (I understood that however, that didn't excuse the no response prior after viewing my message on social media. (She failed to respond ONLY to the messages when I requested my money back and when I sent a screen shot of the classes I purchased)
.
All in all she sent a merchant refund request after I text her and she would follow up with me.
.
5 days later which is today, I sent her another message inquiring about the refund because I have heard nothing. She responds and tells me that she had a family emergency and she apologized and she could refund me through venmo or paypal.
.
I expressed to her:
"Professionally I should've recieved correspondence stating " I'm still waiting" or " I will follow up with you soon" Nothing from your establishment. When running a business google calender helps out tremendously.
.
I wanted to see how I would be treated if I asked for my money back and how I things would be handled after had taken my money and held onto it. This establishment did what any typical business would do. I was going to come back once I was better but now I'm not.
.
Its not about money its the principle and how things were unprofessionally handled.
.
I understand business that's why I gave time in between before I reached back out 5 days later.
.
Personally, I have 2 businesses online businesses, volunteer, have a happy man at home and I'm a mother but I don't forget about my customers no matter what's going on. Reviews and reputation mean alot to people. I was just clearly forgotten about and I say that because within the 5 days she still went to her place of business, ran her business, participated in yoga classes amongst other things. I was just clearly disregarded.
.
I just wanted to express my thoughts and feelings regarding the entire process. Overall, I'm not upset with the establishment I accept🙏🏽 There are lessons in all situations, especially in business.
