My boys have just started boxing about a month already and they are enjoying it. Coach Rosie and Coach Eddie are great coaches I see all the hard work they put into each class. My kids are in the beginners class and get support from the advanced boxer sometimes. They are a very tight community and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend this gym to anyone who would like to put their kiddos is boxing. 😊

Our 8 year old son joined the beginners course a few months ago and absolutely looks forward to these sessions. The coaches are phenomenal at effectively communicating with students of all ages and tailoring their approach to different learning styles. I had my kid training at Scribner back when she was 7yrs old, love the coaches, the atmosphere, the attention they have with the students and parents, now that my kid is 12yrs I wanted her to get back on an afternoon activity and we had to come back here, there was no need for me to research any other places because of how awesome the coaches are, she is loving it and I am super happy with the open schedule they have to train, I’m so happy my family and I found Scribner boxing and got lucky to have such caring, professional and dedicated coaches! ❤️😭

The best and most challenging gym 💪 I've experienced. My daughter had a great experience ☺. I myself had the pleasure to train and experience my first ever amateur fight. The coaches are attentive, knowledgeable and amazing with both adults and children. I hope in the near future after college I will happily comeback for more training and be ready for my second bout. Scribner Boxing Gym has helped me so much. I suffer from Diabetic Neuropathy .Coach Rosi, Eddie, Jarius, and Hector have customize my work outs. I’m not able to train like regular boxing students but they have made me stronger and given me more confidence. Is a family atmosphere and they put in the work to make you a better person. I really enjoy the time I spend at the gym and I highly recommend anyone to check it out.

We came to the gym in hopes that our son would like to join. He did his free trial class and loved the experience. He had us signed him up that same day.
I loved that the coaches were making sure the students stayed hydrated during this hot weather. They walked around and gave them water. They also payed attention to all the students.
The gym has a family atmosphere that is hard to find. They make sure the students feel comfortable and that is something that I appreciate!!!!!

I joined in 2020 to 2021. Man this gym surpasses all the expectations. Since I left SA, I had to also leave the gym. In valley (RGV) no one matches this experience what so ever. This gym is beyond great. Also I began sparing within weeks coming from no prior experience. Others only let you dream of it. This is a beyond highly recommended gym!!!!

I appreciate that Scribner boxing is veteran-owned, and all ages can come here to get a good workout. They start with stretching, cardio, drills for proper form, then an intense workout and cool down. It's typically longer sessions since classes are 1.5hrs - 2 hrs. I've looked and I've looked and I started doubting that it was possible to find the right gym in this city I started to believe I would have to move out of the city just to learn how to box better. When I tried this place out I found something better something that I didn't even know I wanted. Coming here made me love this sport even more, this team and its coaches I can call family while getting punched in the face at the same time you know how hard that is to find. I've seen them take any skill level and teach them from ground zero other gyms in the city won't do that or won't waste their time with students who don't even know the fundamentals or basics which is upsetting especially if you're paying money. If going to pro/amateur or professional is something your looking for, or even amateur this gym is where you'd start 💯💪

First time boxing and I was hesitant on starting because I didn't know what to look for in a boxing gym. I decided to stop by Scribner Boxing one afternoon and spoke with Eddie (Coach). He was very friendly, down to earth, and very knowledgeable. Two days later, I decided to give the free day trial a shot and immediately felt at home. I signed up that evening!

Everyone in this gym is really friendly and helpful. I definitely like the family atmosphere and the coaches provide a lot of 1 on 1 training. If you're looking for a great environment to start boxing, look no further! You won't regret it!

Scribner boxing has been a Godsend for my boys! We moved here in Dec 20 and after looking at multiple reviews at several clubs we were looking for a family friendly atmosphere and Scribner boxing is who we decided to go with. Even though my boys ages 11 and 12 had never had lessons, they didn’t feel pushed to the side. Instead the coaches invited them right in and made them feel like they had been there for years. Now that we have been going for almost 3 months, my boys have foster more positive attitudes and seem to be feeling more confident. The later class is for the adults and it is clear that everyone has a great team attitude. They always offer one free class so I would encourage you to come out and see if it is a right fit for you or your family. I am positive you will see the difference and hope you decide to join!

The training is intense but you always leave feeling like you've gotten a lot accomplished....because you have.
