I love Shed! Robin is an amazing instructor. I love the in depth way she explains where we should feel movements and what they affect in our day to day lives. I have become so much more in tune with myself, and have also improved my cardio and weight lifting since starting pilates here. The space is lovely, the classes are great, and I look forward to it every week.

Best Pilates studio in Austin! I have been a regular at Shed for 2+ years, taking reformer MVMT and Jump. Robin really knows her stuff and helps clients of all levels feel comfortable asking questions and trying new moves as they progress. I see the benefits of Robin’s methods in all my other workouts, from the trail to lifting weights.
Also, Jump class with Tara is a very fun challenge!

I am new to reformer Pilates, in the foundation class. The instructor is very personable, she even stayed with me after class one day to help me with a position I felt a lot of tension with. She taught me proper technique and I’m working on it. I’d recommend.the classes are small and perfect.

Shed Pilates is awesome! I spend a lot of time at a desk behind a computer and just 10 classes in I have already noticed a difference in my posture and comfort throughout the day. Robin is impressive, not one class has been the same! I am easily bored with workout routines but she keeps it fresh. Extremely pleased, 10/10!

I did a lot of research before trying Shed Pilates. A fitness coach had advised me that pilates would be good for me, and after having back surgery, I had specific needs.
First, I looked at the availability of classes, would I be able to get into class? or would I be frustrated by trying to get in? Next, I needed someone super knowledgeable about the body, its functions, and how I could recover without re-hurting myself. I also compared price across studios in my area.
Shed pilates was the clear choice based on this.
Beyond my initial criteria, Shed has continued to prove itself over and over. It is only through these pilates classes and acupuncture that I made a recovery from my back surgery, and Robin is not only a wealth of knowledge, but she invites you to ask her questions out of class via text if anything is going on. Amazing.
I will also comment that she is very body positive for all body types. I love seeing the diversity of people who come and celebrating their personal successes with them - I started running, I picked up my kid more, I got off the floor in a safer way.
I love the small class sizes, and all the attention and corrections we get. A friend mentioned to me that her neck hurt from pilates at another studio, and I realized I was so lucky to have the proper guidance to not get hurt.
Anyway, please do not take my spot in the foundations classes, but if you do make it, you will have a great time.

This is my first time doing pilates and Robin has helped me feel comfortable to continue with my journey here. The classes are small so I’m able to get personalized help when it comes to my breathing, or form. I think Shed Pilates’ foundation class is very beginner friendly for anyone thinking about joining Pilates. Each foundation class I’ve gone to has been different levels of hard, but I’m having a lot of fun learning the movements.

Robin is an awesome instructor / trainer!!! She makes working out fun and challenging. She has helped me improve so much. I had chronic back pain, but I'm feeling great now. I can do pretty much anything, including tennis, chop firewood, and throw my kids in the pool. I'm so grateful to her!

I wish I could give Robin more than 5 stars. She’s amazing! I really enjoy my workouts here. Robin is so knowledgeable. Not just about Pilates, but also about the body and things to lookout for while exercising. I’ve learned a lot about my form and how to correct it for better results. I have a hard time toning up my arms, abs, and back, but I definitely see results when I attend classes here regularly. Highly recommend!

Robin is a great teacher! I had very little experience with Pilates but her instruction is clear and precise. She explains each exercise and gives you a ‘why’ for each one. Years of trying to rehabilitate my body, Pilates has been the answer. I’ve never felt better and like I’m finally on a journey of healing. Robin creates a fun and focused atmosphere. The new location is welcoming and peaceful!

Pilates is definitely not what you think of. Robin will make you shake and sweat. She also corrects your posture so you can work on the right part of your muscle. This is a good place to work on your core. Highly recommends.

It’s hard to describe just how AMAZING I feel after the time spending with Robin during Pilates class. She is attentive, knowledgeable, and motivating and she deserves way more than 5 stars!
Love the variety of exercises and moves introduced in every well-designed class. I appreciate how Robin make sure each person does the exercises correctly for the best results! Guaranteed to always get a full body workout that you feel in your core, arms, and glutes. (You’ll definitely feel the burn the day after as well) I am sooooo happy with the progress I've made from the sessions each week!!!!

After my first class, I am hooked! Pilates has always been something I’ve wanted to try— I love to be challenged with different types of classes and instructor-led workouts. Between COVID and recently having my second baby, I had really gotten out of a regular exercise routine. Robin was super friendly and welcoming right from the start— she felt like an old friend! Her studio is gorgeous and clean, and the equipment is in great condition. I felt completely comfortable and safe, and Robin wore a mask the entire session. She took the time to go over the machine to me first and really explained each step as we went throughout our time together. It really felt like a private session as she was able to give me individual feedback and correction on my movements. Robin is clearly so knowledgeable, and she makes the workout really challenging but still fun- I lost track of time! I already can’t wait for our session next week and I’m looking forward to building on what I learned from her today. Can’t recommend her enough! I’m totally obsessed!

Robin is an amazing coach and teacher. I decided to join my wife who swears by her classes and goes multiple times a week to try and mix up my training. These classes will push you physically and mentally but are very fun. Robin takes time to help and encourage but also push your limits. I can’t recommend these classes enough for anyone that cares about physical and mental fitness.
