Yoga studio Boutique Meditation centerAbout the Club
Shuniya Yoga Collective is a space to elevate both your mind and body. It is a community collective where meditative yogic practices such as Kundalini, Yin Yoga, Meditation, Qi Gong, Mindful Flow and sound baths are offered to achieve a deeper consciousness, bridging the gap between a physical yoga practice and a stiller meditative state. It is in this stillness, where we can place our ego aside and balance our minds to reach a "zero" point... Shuniya.

I love the classes—especially the Qi Gong! So far, I’ve only joined the online sessions, but I’m looking forward to visiting the studio in person. I’m so glad I found this place.

This is more than a yoga studio. It’s a way of living that nourishes my body my mind my spirit by connecting with people who are like family, the instructors, staff other students and getting top notch classes available all day every day so each day I can treat myself to a very healthy practice that improves my life as much as getting good sleep and eating good food does for me. Shuniya nourishes my soul! We are so lucky to have this kind of quality space in Austin🙏💖✨

Every single time I practice at Shuniya Yoga Collective, I have an awesome experience. Sound baths that take me to another galaxy, energy work that shifts me, chakras adjusted, Yoga that expands my being… I want to live there full time. I believe 100% that if you get a chance to take even one class there, you won’t want to go anywhere else. (I am realizing as I type this that I may be letting the cat out of the bag on this gem.)

In a city with plentiful yoga studios, Shuniya Yoga is a gem among gems. What sets Shuniya apart is the small community-centered focus. The owner, Lindsay, does a lot to cultivate that sense of community, from welcoming each member and guest with a genuinely warm and friendly hello to offering special events like 40-day meditations, soul-nourishing retreats and mini-retreats, and other opportunities for members to meet and connect. In addition, Shuniya offers excellent classes from teachers who are the best of the best in their unique areas of specialty - yoga, meditation, chanting, sound healing, and qi gong. If you a looking for a yoga home where you are more than a number, Shuniya may be the place for you! Highly recommended!

I was introduced to Shuniya in 2024 by a longtime yoga teacher who taught a few classes here. I've since dropped in several times for some amazing kundalini + sound classes and most recently their New Year's Day meditation class that was completely full! I love the location and the studio. It's very calm, clean, and well run. The owner/manager, Lindsay, is amazing and always remembers my name, which is nice given my unique name. I love that I can drop in as my schedule permits and can check their schedule easily online. I appreciate the flexibility for the price. They have a big selection of classes from kundalini, yin, vinyasa, flow, somatic, sound, etc. and I look forward to trying different ones in 2025! I highly recommend this place for beginners or advanced practitioners. Namaste. Sat Nam!

I highly recommend Shuniya for yoga class. They offer in person, online live AND they record the classes so you can practice yoga later on your own time. This has been invaluable to me when I have had to travel a lot this past year. They are wonderful people, have amazing teachers and host really unique and beautiful special events. The studio is really lovely and has great energy. I really love this yoga studio and honestly it is the best yoga experience in Austin. I feel like I have a new community and that is what they cultivate which is really special.

Very warm and friendly business where clients matter and it shows. Knowledgeable and talented instructors who bridge a wide range of interests. The studio is lovely and serene. Cozy in the winter and comfortable in the heat of summer! Both in person and video options are available for classes which is a nice benefit and offers flexibility. Well equipped for both yoga and meditation sessions as well as sound baths! Beautiful gong used by many of the instructors. Can't go wrong with this studio.

I don’t live in Austin but have visited both the original Kerbey Lane location and the new Houston Street locale. The new space is even lovelier. Not only is the studio spacious and at the same time calming, there are lovely clothes, yoga-related items, scents and many other goodies. Lindsay and the SYC community are so generous in making it easy to take classes online. During the pandemic, not only was I able to take advantage of the online classes, Lindsay even arranged special sessions just for me and my co-workers. Thank you Lindsay and SYC!

I have been taking classes here for 4 years, and I can’t express what a wonderful experience this has been for me. The studio is beautiful and welcoming. The teachers are great, and the class offerings have a wide variety of practices. Usually, I try to take four classes per week- Candlelight Sound, Joint Freeing in a Chair, Kundalini for Transformation, and Kundalini and Sound. What an uplifting experience for me! They also have a quarterly book club, which has exposed me to new books and discussions that are so interesting. They also offer a video library so I can access classes whenever I want. There is a beautiful boutique inside this studio selling unique Austin artisan items. Thank you so much for enriching my life!

I have been an active member of Shuniya since its inception 4 years ago. I am a senior citizen which means I no longer have the agility I had when I was younger. Shuniya has many types of class offerings which I use regularly to counter the effects of aging. It really works. Folks I meet assume I am younger than my actual age, all due to the positive effects of being a regular participant of Shuniya. I cannot thank Lindsay and her crew enough for my good health and my relaxed state that I have achieved through their wonderful offerings. Classes range from vigorous to chair yoga, something for everyone. Austin is extremely blessed to have such a beautiful facility and comprehensive program available for folks of all ages and capabilities. Something for everyone, expectations are always exceeded.

Also, it’s such a beautiful space in which to practice! The illumination, gongs, decor and natural light are all very inviting! I continue to be inspired with each visit and am grateful to be a long time member.

For those who are looking for the light and connection-this is a wrong place.
This isn't a message for business but for people searching for Kundalini. KUNDALINI yoga has very specific, precise and complex practice and one of the most important things is the precise body position(angles are very particular ) and breathing techniques and this place is deceiving. For someone who is looking for stretch class or pilates kind of yoga this class would be perfect, but for those who are looking for spiritual practice, for a way to connect with collective(and other spiritual motivation) -it's very dangerous that you learn kundalini wrong, that it's not even explained how and what is to be done and more than anything incomplete. They picked fun practice out of kundalini and made a fun class, but it is not real Kundalini practice and keep on searching if you want to implement spiritual practice into your daily life. I drove from Houston to the class in Austin because I thought she is very authentic and giving a real class, but once I voiced my concerns, she got offended, refused to reach out to different teachers who do real kundalini, and I waited for a week to decide if I write this or not-i decited to write this because it's border line evil to close the way for people who are looking for light and connection. We all have free will,so at least research real kundalini so you can make best decision for yourself. 💫

I've been attending this incredible yoga studio regularly, and it's become like a second home to me. Not only is it a fantastic place to practice yoga and meditation, but it's also an amazing place to work as a yoga teacher. Sharing my Reiki-infused classes here has been an absolute joy. The community is supportive, and the energy is always positive. I feel so grateful to be a part of this wonderful space, both as a student and a teacher. It's a true gem for those seeking holistic wellness and a nurturing environment. 🧘♂️🌟✨

What a lovely and welcoming studio, nestled in a cute refurbished property north central Austin. Homey, comfortable, clean, with wonderful teachers offering all styles of yoga — from hatha, to Ayurvedic flow, to kundalini and more. You can try an introductory pass to get a sampling, and I am pretty sure you'll want to come back again and again. Highly recommended.

Shuniya offers a sweet and tranquil refuge from the busy-ness of life outside its doors. Classes come in different levels of yogic spiciness, and you haven't lived until you've experienced the vibrations of a gong at the end of a Kundalini class or the peace of a Candlelight Restorative at the end of a long day. Combine the beauty of the space itself with the many talented teachers and warm, welcoming staff and you've got a great place to practice life!

Such a unique space and community, love the calming and loving energy from the owner, the teachers and the community of people who practice there. I’ve definitely learned a lot about mindfulness, meditation, healing and yoga by being exposed to styles I had never practiced before. The space is beautiful, cozy and peaceful. They also have a great online offering which I’ve used a lot on days I don’t make it to the studio. Highly recommended!

I'm so grateful for having come across Shuniya Yoga Collective. Going to the Kundalini yoga sessions at Shuniya is like therapy to me. I love the teachers, I love the community and the special events they organize.
I have a tendency to be in my head too much....the Kundalini sessions really help me (or force me, which is what I really need) to get out of my head and into my body. It is a practice that is ongoing and that benefits my body, mind & spirit immensely.
I cannot recommend Shuniya enough. It's the real deal. I highly recommend you check out the classes for yourself, they often have awesome deals where you can try out the different classes for next to nothing!

Beautiful, growing studio with amazing instructors and the friendliest owner. Great place to experience healing and belonging. I love the variety of classes offered here (Xigong, Kundalini, Yin, etc.) and recommend this studio for anyone looking to add more styles of yoga to their repertoire. I have been practicing here every day for less than a month and have already noticed results in my daily life, outside the studio. Shuniya is truly a unique studio and worth every penny.

So lucky to have found this beautiful place. I have loved every event with every teacher, and especially grateful for the amazing energy that Lindsay brings. She personally takes the time to care for each of our needs, responds to anything anytime, making us feel so welcome and even suggest/offer what we will need as newbies who don't own any yoga props, explaining every event to first timers. Can't wait to spend more time here in 2022!

I have so many wonderful things to say about Shuniya Yoga Collective.
1. The studio offers a variety of classes both online or in-person (following all COVID safety recommendations) as well as thoughtfully curated events. I particularly love being able to access the online video library as a member to practice on my own schedule.
2. The owner, the teachers, the fellow yogi participants are warm and welcoming. I felt like family immediately and it made it much less intimidating to try kundalini for the first time.
3. On occasion, a VERY sweet dog named River sleeps behind the front desk and I love to give him pets.
4. The studio also has a little local vendor setup where Austin-made/owned ceramics, candles, palo santo, etc. can be purchased. I often get things for myself or as little gifts for others.
5. If you are a member, there are also a number of perks that are include in addition to the unlimited classes.
All in all, I highly recommend visiting this studio.

SYC is amazing! This studio stands out with its authenticity and personal touch. It provides a variety of unique teachers and class offerings (inside, outside and online) and the boutique has super cool LOCAL items - shopping here is like a mini Pecan Street Festival! The yoga studio here on Kerbey Lane has the most heart and authenticity of any I have found in Austin! It is a Mecca for Kundalini, which is a very special meditative style of yoga whose benefits creep up on you in a wonderful way! The space inside is beautiful and I experienced it before Covid! And I have really been enjoying being outside lately! The owner sends us live streams of all the classes so you can continuously practice from home no matter which ones you come to live! Such a great heart and spirit and I’m so glad that I was able to find it!
