I just took a Pilates class at Sigma Performance Training and loved it! The small setting makes it very personalized, and Victor was a great instructor—he focused on the muscle groups I wanted to target and gave helpful corrections. Of all the Pilates classes I've taken before, this was the first one where I felt truly challenged. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a workout that pushes you while still focusing on form and technique.

Having been a member at both Lifetime and Equinox, I can confidently say this gym is on another level. They truly care about you as a person you’re never just a number here. The space feels intimate, never overcrowded, and it’s always spotless.
They offer excellent Hyrox classes led by Jonathan, who is incredibly knowledgeable and will get you fully prepared. There’s also Pilates with Mirna (available on ClassPass), and she’s always booked clearly, she’s in high demand for a reason!
I’ve been training with Taylor since the summer, and I couldn’t be more grateful. She’s been amazing, not just with my workouts but also with my nutrition, making sure I feel supported every step of the way.
Carlos has done an incredible job building this team, and I can’t wait for the sauna to open it’ll be the perfect finishing touch!

I found Sigma Gym when I was looking for a place for my 14 year old son to learn the basics of weight lifting. It was the perfect, supportive environment for him....oh wait, and me!! You just can't help but want to be part of the positive energy that exudes from the place. It feels like the Cheers of the gym world, "everybody knows your name and they're always glad you came". My son works out with Jonathan, who has become a mentor and friend. I work out with Carlos and Emily, who each push me in different complementary ways focused on form and technique. I highly recommend joining the group classes, where the camaraderie builds muscle and forms friendships.

I joined Sigma four months ago after a friend’s recommendation. It became a treasured experience and I’m finding myself spending more and more time there.
Before joining, I’d trained with a remote coach, not a gym, and my results plateaued. With Sigma, I see constant improvements in my strength, cardio fitness, energy, and mood. I strength train with Sawyer twice a week, do a solo cardio session once a week, and drop in occasionally for a Pilates class with Irene. Sawyer is truly excellent - experienced, versatile, funny and deeply dedicated to his clients’ success. Irene is also a fantastic passionate, positive and thoughtful instructor.
I’m continually impressed with the personalization and quality of services and engagement their team provides. Trainers are highly experienced, flexible and friendly. I’m paranoid about injuries, and it feels great to be supported and guided gradually, while also pushed to satisfying results.
The gym is young and small, so it can get a little crowded, but because of how versatile the equipment is and how conscientious the trainers and clients are, I feel welcome and able to get to work even when it’s busy, without feeling disturbed or disturbing others. Whether I want to be social or keep to myself, I always feel comfortable.
It’s certainly pricy, but you get what you pay for, and my life has improved dramatically, so it’s worth it for me. I recommend it to anyone.

Carlos and Mirna run a great gym. All the trainers cater workouts to your goals and needs, work around injuries or problem areas, and are friendly and fun! I wouldn't work out anywhere else.
UPDATE: My first single rep max at Sigma (about 15 months ago) was 335 lbs. This morning, I pulled 335 lbs for 3 sets of 10. I would not have seen this kind of progress anywhere else. Carlos, Mirna and the staff are the best. Hands down.

If you’re looking for a personal trainer, I highly recommend Keith!! I couldn’t be happier with the results. He kept me motivated, pushed me, and helped me reach my goal. I’m so happy I worked up the nerve to schedule a trial session at Sigma and invest in my health. As someone who is “gym shy”, I immediately felt comfortable after meeting Carlos and Mirna. They have created a space where everyone can feel comfortable and supported no matter your fitness level. The trainers at Sigma are all engaging, motivating and extremely knowledgeable and seeing other clients grow and achieve their goals is also inspiring. Sigma Performance Training is the best gym! I originally joined to train for my first Hyrox race since they are a partner gym. I started training with Jonathan and joined one of the weekly Hyrox classes. Jonathan put together a very comprehensive training plan for me, and I was beyond prepared for my race in a matter of weeks. He and all of the trainers go out of their way to maintain a clean and friendly environment. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a positive place to improve their fitness!

If you’re looking for a big box people watching experience, a night club or a country club then this is the wrong place for you. If however you’re looking for a concierge level of detail and care for your personal fitness and health goals that meets you exactly where you are - from beginner to elite athlete - then it’s not only a great option, is it THE place. I have worked with Mirna Espari for more years than I like to admit. I had trained with others before Mirna, but had largely plateaued. I was in my late 40s when I met Mirna. I was dealing with a lot of physical limitations at that point. Mirna’s patience and professionalism changed my life. I got healthier, stronger, and fitter. I had never attempted power lifting before and Mirna convinced me to try. I am still lifting, but have added Pilates to my routine. I will never be someone with a lot of flexibility, but Pilates with Mirna has made a huge difference. I am in my mid (maybe late) 50s now and am in better shape than ever.

The entire team—Carlos, Mirna, Jonathan, Víctor, and all of the other trainers— are the best! They genuinely care about who you are as a person and your progress! I have to share my amazing experience at sigma! As a 40+ female who has noticed my muscle tone to decrease with age, I've become determined to incorporate strength training into my workout routine. I couldn't have found a better place to do that!.
My trainer, the one and only Emily, is incredible! She's got the sass, smarts, and strength to push us through some intense workouts even when we want to quit. Since I started training with her, I've noticed a dramatic increase in my energy levels and a significant appearance in my muscle tone. I’m also much more confident using weights now. At the group trainings everyone motivates each other and it's been great to meet so many other Moms that understand the importance of staying healthy and strong.

I have been training with Carlos for 5 years and can say he has improved my strength drastically. When I first walked into the gym, I was too weak to deadlift the bar and we had to use kettlebells. Now I deadlift 385 pounds and qualified for powerlifting Nationals. If you are looking for a personal trainer to help you reach your fitness goals, I can't recommend Carlos enough.

I was visiting Houston for work and thrilled to find a gym made for serious lifters with plenty of squat racks and high-quality equipment and machines. The guest pass was a simple transaction and lasted for an entire week. The hours may be a bit tight, especially if you're getting out of work late, but it's worth it for the quality. Definitely coming back next time I'm in town.

After 8 years in the Marines and power lifting lately I thought I had everything I needed as far as power and strength. I was way wrong! I couldn’t figure out how to stretch or get the flexibility I need. After two training sessions and a few Pilates sessions I’m amazed at how much more flexible I’m becoming. Mirna definitely works you on the Pilates side and Keith is a genius for training. The entire staff looks to be the best of the best. Wish I would have found these guys sooner!

I joined Sigma the day they opened to do Pilates with Mirna and have 0 regrets. I lift weights regularly and played football for a good chunk of my life which caused a 5mm herniated disk. My back would go out just from picking up something off the floor sometimes but since I have been working with Mirna I have never felt better. It has helped not only my back but my workouts are better and doing every day things feel much easier. The environment that Mirna and Carlos have created is great for anyone from beginners in working out to experts. They are personable, motivating, and make you feel like you are right at home with family.

I have trained with Carlos Mata for the last 4 and half years. I never thought I would want personal trainer but working with Carlos has completely changed my body. He and his colleagues have now opened their own gym. They are dedicated to personalized training and Pilates in an extremely friendly and client-focused environment.
