I have been greeted almost every time I enter and exit the facility’s.

Mediocre gym charging premium prices. Never enough machines at peak hours. Exorbitant rates for signing on, exorbitant monthly rates, and then they’ll charge you for an extra month when you try to cancel. oh, and to top it off, good luck finding any parking at this place. Would not recommend.

Edit: You're right, it's plainly stated in the contract that you give us limited access to, so I'm plainly stating it for everyone else so they do not get duped like me once they realize there is only one pec deck in the whole gym.

I mean just read the replies to any of the negative reviews if you want a snapshot of how you can expect to be treated at this place.

It costs $60 to join, $60 a month, then $60 to leave.

And the bathrooms really are that gross, all the time, from my experience. But I was only there for a year, so...

Great gym with welcoming staff that keep the place clean and the equipment functional. I initially signed up for a six month membership when I moved to the area and recently extended to a year since I've had no issues since joining. I like the local gym feel to it which is a nice break from the commercial gyms I frequent during the week due to the distance from work.

With the surrounding area adding more homes, I'm hoping they're able to expand the current facility to be able to accommodate the increase in demand. My only suggestion for improvement would be to increase locker room space as it can get pretty crowded in there during peak hours.

Hands down best gym we've been to.

More of the old school plate loaded machines but well maintained (personally like these better than the ones you usually find in commercial gyms). I swear every time we're there staff is cleaning so idk where the complaints of it being dirty come from. Staff always welcomes you when you walk in during hours as well.

As far as other members go, everyone generally seems serious about weightlifting and are just focused on their own thing. May seem a little intimidating at first if you're new to the gym but doesn't take long to realize that everyone is friendly. Highly recommend if you are serious about lifting or new and wanting to get serious. (Also if you're on the fence they'll credit your day pass towards the membership if you sign up within a week.)

Glad I choose monthly rate. Was ok at first but this past month or so 🤮 I can’t do this anymore!
Equipment is ok, staff is friendly but it’s been filthy gross for a while now, kills the motivation.
Trainers always say no excuses, get a routine, try harder & strive to do more.
( Water softener system, calking, pumice scrub, daily vacuuming etc.. get a routine down. You think I’m the only one who likes a clean environment?

Hands down one of the best gyms I've been to in any state period. Gotta love mom and pop gyms that just keep it simple. It feels like the perfect blend of a bodybuilding, power lifting, cross fit, and even just a good catch all style gym. Hybrid gym I like to say. Has a separate “ sweat box” attached with cross fit equipment, no AC ( how I like it) and then an air conditioned area with beautiful bodybuilding equipment. Super clean. Great vibe. Great mix of ongoing music. 24 hour access w key fob. Well done !!!!!!!

I'm not even a Member (yet), but I absolutely love Silverback! I've shared my appreciation and love of this Gym across my social media platforms. I've been here several times when I just didn't want to bother fighting the crowd at my current gym. The several times I've been here the members and staff have been very kind and respectful! They take great care of their equipment and the facility is always clean! Unlike other gyms I've been to where you have to hunt down plate weights or everything is packed into a smaller space where you're tripping over things, here there is space to breath and weights are plentiful!!! I worked out at golds for five years previous to joining silverback and I’ll never go back to golds. The atmosphere is what one looks for in a gym. Great equipment, well managed, and very clean. Everyone there is cool, friendly, but determined. They are also expanding right now adding another huge section to the gym and outdoor area. I was visiting from out of state and needed a gym to workout at. Found Silverback Gyn on the internet, it was a short distance from my hotel. The gym allowed me to get a day pass, which was awesome. Its a great gym. Has everything you need to get your goals met. Obviously like with any gym timing is essential to ensure your not fighting over equipment. Busy hours generally are from 4p-6p. Prior to that is not busy so I'm able to get to what I need to. The owner and manager are great people to talk to. They take pride in how clean the gym is and that is something that I appreciate. Multiple cleaning stations throughout the gym to ensure everyone is doing their part. No TV to distract you from your workout like other gyms. Just all around a great gym.

Joined December 4, 2019. Met a lot nice member's. Was on vacation from 19th to the 28 of December 2019. Went to the club on 28th December and was told to have a good workout by wife of owner. One(1) hour later I was called up by owner and told to leave the club, because I had to many complaint's from other member's. I asked who complained and they refused to tell me and stated they did not have to tell me who complained. It's BS, because I do not know anybody. I was never rude to anybody or bothered anyone except asking other member's how to use workout equipment. Refused to give me back my money. I would not recommend this club to anyone. Malcolm, the manager is the only honest and sincere person at this club. Malcolm is good people and the owner's are very dishonest and unprofessional. I have contacted an attorney and we will deal with this discrimination and civil rights violation in court. I do not believe the owner's and we will see what member's smeared my reputation. I am not letting this go without a fight. I am 66 years old, Veteran, Retired Federal La Enforcement, and current Texas Licensed Peace Officer.

This gym charged me for 2 months payment. When I started college I couldn't afford to pay the gym fees, I was paying tuition. After I payed for 2 months that I never used, which was almost $100, they said I was under contract. The day after I payed for those 2 months that I didn't even use the gym. I was immediately banned without any explanation. I asked for the money back because I am only a college student. They laughed in my face. This is who these people are. I just wanted ya'll to know! If I could give anyone advice, I would say find another gym. This one here is unjust, and unfair. As well as selfish, and cruel.

It's kinda funny because I was asking on a facebook group if Conroe had any upcoming gyms that were designed around folks who wanna lift and not play phone the entire time. the next day i see a flyer for this place at nutrition depot. I go to the grand opening last weekend to check it out and its pretty awesome. they are still adding stuff and the other half isnt started yet but from what im told will have turf, tires, classes of some sort and other good stuff. The gym has a good variety of equipment for all body areas. Im now a member and went for my 1st session today and cant wait to keep going!!
