I've been a member here for about 8 months, the facility has pretty much everything you need for a good full body split. The members and staff instantly emit a sense of community and genuine care for their patrons. I’ve been a member of SnapFitness since January or February of this year. I was looking for a gym near home and decided to give SnapFitness a try. I’m very glad I did! It has everything I need, and the peak times aren’t as crowded as other gyms. The staff works very hard to keep the place clean and is always ready to answer any questions I have about the equipment or how to do an exercise. The owners are also very approachable and friendly and are very welcoming. If you’re looking for a small gym with all the equipment you need and a very home like feel try SnapFitness out!

I was a member here for a while and, at first, everything seemed great , good equipment, clean space, and friendly members. But over time, I began noticing a lot of gossip, favoritism, and unprofessional behavior.

When I opened up to a few people I trusted about some personal struggles, I was met with judgment instead of compassion. The owner’s wife called me out of nowhere, yelling, telling me I “needed help” and “needed to go to church,” and even called me a burden and a distraction. It was shocking, inappropriate, and completely unprofessional.

Since then, I’ve continued to hear gossip behind my back, including absurd rumors that twisted a simple friendship into something more. That kind of toxic environment shouldn’t exist in any gym, especially one that preaches community and respect.

I truly cared about this place and believed in its potential, but sadly it’s not the same anymore. What could have been a great, supportive environment has turned into something very disappointing and disheartening.

UPDATE:
After leaving this honest review, the owner himself reached out to me directly, not to apologize or seek understanding, but to be dismissive and cold. His message only reinforced everything I wrote above. Instead of taking accountability or showing professionalism, they doubled down publicly by calling my experience “false and misleading,” which is simply not true.

It’s sad to see a business handle feedback this way, especially from someone who genuinely supported this gym and cared about its community. I stand by every word of my experience.

So I just recently hit a whole year coming to Snap Fitness in Cibolo .
I simply can't not rave enough about this wonderful Gym that often times feels like my second home !
No seriously , this place is like no other when it comes to a Fitness establishment.
In the 12 months I have been here , the owners and the wonderful community encouraged me to take part in my first Bodybuilding competition.
The level of support and guidance I received was unmatched.
It is fully equipped and kept in pristine condition.

I had decided to join a gym and was going to use my insurance benefit of Active & Fit Direct to join. When I arrived at the facility there was no parking available. Once I got parked and walked up to the business during staffed hours the door was locked. A person standing outside rudely indicated that they were right here. They they proceeded to tell me they didn't take the service that I had paid. When I indicated that they were still a valid option on the service they indicated they were in the process of canceling the program. The person, who I assume was an owner, was very rude and disrespectful. I am glad I did not end up giving any money to this establishment if this is how they treat potential clients/customers.

Your response is appropriate and polite. I assumed the door would be locked, but was just checking since it was during staffed hours and assumed you signed up people in person. Your husband barked at me "I'm here" instead of being polite and saying "I work here, can I help you?". When I expressed that I had come to sign up for a membership and showed him the paperwork I had, his response was a short "We don't do that". When I clarified that I just signed up and the gym was on the list, he then said "we are going to cancel it", which means you did accept it and you were just no honoring the program you signed up for. He also missed an opportunity to indicate you didn't accept that program but he could discuss your memberships with me. He simply wanted to be rude and impolite towards me. I chose your business because other people are members, with Active & Fit, at this location. I assume they are not going to be members since you are canceling the program. I guess in the future maybe he should direct potential customers to you as you seem to be able to communicate more appropriately. Good luck to you and your business.

There are several gyms within 10 miles of the Schertz/Cibolo area where individuals can train, but what separates Snap Fitness in Cibolo from these other gyms is the owners. Barry and Carmal are two of the most incredible and goal-driven individuals I’ve ever met. The equipment within the gym is always functional and maintained, unlike other gyms I’ve been to in the past. Barry and Carmal treat the gym like an extension of their home, with how clean the gym is in general, especially the bathrooms! Barry and Carmal are a great resource for feedback and positive support for obtaining your fitness and nutrition goals. I moved back to San Antonio in June, 2018 from Albuquerque, New Mexico and found a rental home in Cibolo. I had a Fitness Facility in Albuquerque I used three to four times per week. Once settled in Cibolo, a priority of mine was finding a fitness facility. In August 2018 I visited Snap Fitness, and was immediately met by Carmal Terrell, was interested in finding a fitness facility, knew nothing about Snap Fitness, expressed my needs, and was given a tour of the facility. The fitness and exercise equipment was the finest I’d ever seen. The facility is extremely clean. I joined that day. Carmal and her husband are the owners, both retired Air Force, and take an active part in your physical fitness. Will help you create a fitness program to meet your needs. Mine, preparation for knee surgery in March 2019. If you are looking for a Fitness Facility, whatever your needs might be, I highly recommend Snap Fitness, Cibolo, Texas.

Love this place. The owners are retired veterans, they helped me train to get ready for the OTS training and I know I’m ready for it after a couple months training with my personal trainer, Carmal Terrell, at the gym. The peoples at the gym were really friendly and helpful. Whatever your goal is, they will help you get there, as long as you’re willing to put in your effort. The gym is also very clean, the members and owners sanitized all the equipment rigorously during/post Covid. The equipments are also new and I especially love it when the gym is not too crowded whenever I was there. 10 stars!

Working out at Snap Cibolo I can always expect a courteous smile, good conversation, and a clean gym. Carmal and Barry are great owners and run a tight ship. Their attention to detail makes this facility second to none. They have a great variety of equipment and offer some extras like personal training and even have a massage chair that feels fantastic after a good workout. I highly recommend this gym.

I really enjoy going to the Cibolo Snap gym. The owners are very professional and care about their clients. The gym is always clean and safe and the owners have taken every precaution during this pandemic. I love clanging and banging in there and enjoy bringing my bestie her Bang drink as we workout!!

This is an Awesome gym!!! Trust me, I’m not a gym person by any means. However, I’ve been a member of this gym since it opened. The owner and the trainers have helped me with not only my fitness goals they have also assisted me with a meal plan to further accomplish my goals.

I have never been a person that likes going to gyms but I decided to try this gym out and loved it. I never felt overwhelmed with the equipment and there is always someone there to answer questions and assist with the equipment. I also love the selection of cardio equipment provided. The owners are amazing!

Always clean and well kept, phenomenal staff and owners that take great pride in their facility. Glad we are members and short of moving away can't see us using any other gym in the area. Truly great people running this gym and it shows. If you're considering a new gym do not pass this place up!

Amazing facility with state of the art equipment! It's so easy for me to get into a routine rut, but when I walk into Snap I am excited about the variety that I can add to my workout. The staff patiently explains how to use everything. They give great, creative suggestions and keep things fun with fitness challenges. The hydro massage is such a relief for sore muscles!

This place is a joke. Be sure to check you billing statements. Luckily I checked mine and found some extra charges that were never discussed. I had to dispute it with my credit card company never even so much as an apology or even an acknowledgment from the staff or owner.

Absolutely love Snap Fitness Cibolo, from day one I have had nothing but great results and always look forward to the next workout! The equipment is clean and updated, the staff is amazing, always willing to help and go above and beyond to make members happy and have the best experience possible. I highly recommend this gym to any one who needs extended hours or on a tight schedule because this gym is open 24 hours a day with available showers, for after your killer workout. This is by far the BEST gym that I have work out at and I've been in my share of gyms! First off I love how CLEAN this gym is and that clean smell it has! Restrooms are super clean as well.(I feel like I'm in the high-dollar hotel restroom). their equipment is top-notch and I have never seen anything out of order.me being a weightlifter I love the old school iron plates!!!! They have a good variety of up-to-date cardio equipment that is always wiped down and smells good! I have to give it to Carmal (owner) is always one step ahead of running this facility and super sweet and respectful of her members!!!!! Search no further come sign up at snap fitness!! ( I am just a very happy member and am not getting paid to write this review).

I've been going here since they opened. I love Carmal (owner). She is a wonderful person. Very passionate and kind!! The gym is all new and lovely and new equipment is still being added at random. It's nice to go in and see more new stuff! Super clean and quiet. Good music. I get in killer workouts and no one is bothering me!!
