This place used to be my favorite and that’s saying a lot I’ve been hitting the gym about 5+ years now and I’ve been in other environments like kumo, planet fitness, Kickapoo gym, golds, and the war room.
This place has always had its issues with machinery or broken utilities like no functioning water fountains and sinks but that’s not what’s important, see recently they made a change not allowing you to bring in guests and that’s a huge issue as the main reason I would come to this specific gym was because I could bring my girlfriend or family to enjoy a workout and become healthier together, and with the employees being rude it’s hard to have a good workout in peace anymore without losing motivation as now I have to come alone and be talked to in condescending fashions.
If you decide to bring someone you are charged 25$ each time, and that’s a huge financial burden as a college student.
This has finally convinced me to build my own home gym as the changes they keep making have also made my friends stop paying for their services and so I have no real reason to come here anymore
-side note; the old staff USED to be amazing and friendly and would honestly get along with most of the regular gym goers, now it seems like they just don’t care or speak in passive aggressive ways

For good and variety of equipment, Snap Fitness is the place. Opened 24 hrs to cover any work shifts or complicated agendas. Easy registration experience, either through website or in person. Personnel and staff is very welcoming and friendly. Always willing to help. Is very inexpensive compared to the personal gain at the end. Very recommended!

I’ve attached a few pictures of what this supposed 4.5 star gym looks like. Anyone who has the misfortune to end up at this gym knows exactly what I’m talking about when I say if it could be rated a 0 star it would be. Machines are always broken, the gym is constantly beyond dirty, oh and their “re rack the weights policy” is non existent. The only reason this gym has a presence is because it is one of few gyms in the entire city. If you can picture skating on a thin line between being open and OSHA shutting a place down, this gym would be the epitome of that. This place is an embarrassment to anyone who takes fitness and health serious. I am not sure who the owners are, but I can tell you first hand they care nothing about this business. Just because you can convince your friends and family to leave good reviews and entice them with a free water to leave a good review does not make your place 4.5 stars. Snap fitness is definitely the best gym in the area. The cleanliness, variety of machines, and workers all make it a welcoming environment for anyone. No matter if you’re starting your fitness journey or have been in it for a while, snap fitness is the place to get the best workouts in. I also want to give a shoutout to Raul, he’s always walking around with a smile and is very knowledgeable on the machines and doesn’t mind answering questions or helping someone out when asked. The facility was once in good condition, but over time, the padding on most of the machines has worn out and needs to be replaced. The restrooms are not properly maintained and the building requires maintenance. Additionally, the water fountain is no longer functional. If you have experience with gym equipment, you may want to consider Planet Fitness as an alternative option.

Awesome staff and a clean environment. Very spacious and new equipment. Air conditioned and plenty of free weights and machines. They have a bench and a squat rack as well. Staff can handle any problem, and is well versed in exercise and gym culture. Santos and Josiah are exemplary employees that usually handle the task at hand and always have any malfunctioning machines back up in no time. These fellas are real deal fix it guys. Also very helpful with nutrition and exercise advice.

Place is really nice, lift weight make noises go away. The environment is clean and welcoming every machine is clean and every weight is sorted out nicely. Santos is the chillest and nicest employee I’ve met and talked to, Santos is super nice and cool. The other workers are really nice everyone at snap is awesome, especially with a clean and welcoming gym. Every worker is always doing something whether cleaning restrooms, folding towels, or cleaning the gym.

Something is always broken or falling apart! Sauna works half the time and is always left with trash inside. Wifi never works, and since you have no cell reception, you better hope you have all your music downloaded or something. Ceiling tiles hanging off and full of water! Showers are disgusting, and machines are tore up. Plates'rubber coating is falling off, and NO ONE that works here has any sense of responsibility! They never give an answer as to when or why things are the way they are!! This is not what I'm paying my monthly dues for! I am canceling my membership and hope a lot more people do the same since our money is not for maintaining the gym and its equipment!

I have been disgusted by this place. Multiple pieces of equipment is broken. Bathrooms are disgusting especially the man’s bathroom smells like pee, and people don’t clean or wipe the equipment. Weights are misplaced and constantly people are walking around and talking on pieces of equipment. Staff is unwelcoming and after asking for a show around the club they didn’t even get up they just pointed left is bathroom right is heavy lifting room and perceived to put feet on the desk like no respect or professionalism. This “club” is the worst I have been to. Needs serious updating and environment changes. I would never touch that floor because I know for a fact they do not do daily cleans I see the same trash in the same places for a week straight. As a professional athlete $43 is a whole lot for nothing. Go find somewhere else if you take pride where you workout and do the right thing.

I joined Snap because I liked the variety of equipment they have. One month after I joined I cancelled my membership because the gym as well as the equipment is dirty, the staff doesn't clean as often as they need to. And the womens bathroom needs work, there's broken tile and other things that need to be replaced.

Most importantly, it's hot in there. Once I'd be well into my workout I'd be sweating like crazy...you obviously sweat while working out but it's just not cool enough that when you workout it feels EVEN hotter. They need to lower the temp for sure.
