I’ve been wanting to do alternative dancing for so many years. With a major back injury, this was exactly what I need it. I usually do yoga and heavy weights. I can see how this could replace having to do massages, and yoga.

The studio space is nice! But I didn’t feel like the class was actually focused on beginners. A number of the different moves required you to take your feet of the ground, which assumes you can hold your own body weight. Which I can’t and so I was left feeling like I couldn't fully participate in the class. Which didn’t give me an empowering feeling which is the goal of pole work. It just wasn’t the welcoming environment I was hoping for.

I have such a hard time following workout classes of any kind. I've tried it all - pilates, orange theory, camp gladiator, you name it. I started to think maybe I was just a lone wolf when it came to working out. But I gotta tell you, I had SO much fun and absolutely LOVED this class. I purchased a 10 class pass at the beginning of this year and I use ClassPass to take flexibility classes at this studio. So far I'm really liking the classes! I've taken flexibility classes with three different instructors and they were great (knowledgeable and super bendy themselves).
I also really like when instructors do hands on adjustments.
I would be going here more often if it wasn't 40 min from where I live. The studio is also very clean and there's quite a bit of classes to choose from on the schedule

While the instructor was good, I think personally the class would be better having a smaller group of people per class. enough for each pole because having two people per one pole, half of the class you’re just sitting watching rather than actually being able to be active and the same for your warm-ups where you’re about to hit somebody when you’re warming up I think a smaller class is better as well as more sensual music to be able to feel sexy in the moves Rather than either the rock or slower music.

The parking can be confusing because you might not see the studio sign from the road. There are multiple parking lots but the closest two were full when I came by. Someone had a fender bender parking on the street so be cautious parking on the street and driving by. This is a busy little area. There are restaurants and a climbing gym. The studio itself is fantastic but a little spread out. The outer doors are locked until class time and you can't access the restroom from their studio rooms. The instructor I had was fantastic and the class itself was structured nicely with dance time at the end of class.

Best studio in ATX!!! Where can you find a studio with a more well rounded cast of teachers, where you can learn from a plethora of aerial apparatuses, but wait, theres also flexibility classes, burlesque, choreography, you name it! The studio owners also do an amazing job of bringing in at least once a year some superstar-world famous pole teacher to come do workshops with! This is my second home <3

Edit: I want to note the effort that goes in to keep the place cleannnn. I've been traveling this summer and I have been to studios that don"t provide rags and alcohol spray bottles in between uses/students. Teachers and students are very good about leaving the place better than we came, and you can't take that for granted lol.

The class instruction was good but the actual facility leaves a lot to be desired. The room had an almost unbearable odor of sweat and the hammocks also had a terrible odor emanating from them. They are clearly not regularly sanitized or deodorized. Given the Texas heat and natural tendency for folks to sweat during workouts, it’s disappointing to see such basic hygiene practices not being followed. Additionally the rooms are not properly ventilated and the AC is barely turned up, making it an overall unpleasant experience despite the enjoyable nature of the class itself.

Overall, I had a really wonderful time in Jennifer's beginner pole class. I learned so much, and the environment was both fun and nurturing. However, there was an issue with the number of poles: there were eight poles but nine students (technically 11 on the roster). I was the only one who had to share a pole, which meant my pole partner and I had less practice time compared to everyone else. It doesn't seem fair that we paid the full amount but had less time. I feel like lowering the attendance cap would help avoid this issue in the future. Aside from that, great class!

As a Florida native, I traveled to Austin for 3 weeks to be with family and was super excited to find Sofly online and an option for a pole studio rental. I booked multiple days (rental room 101) and can’t say for enough amazing things about this room.

1) the poles are all x-poles and are in prestine condition 2) the lighting system is professional and customizable to your liking 3) the audio system is top notch and was able to link Spotify to also customize music playlists 4) super comfortable to adjust heat/air and works fast.

On top of the room I can’t say enough about the staff. Huge shout out to Luki who was fantastic supporting my questions and making sure I had everything I needed!

The location is in a safe, well lit area with a bathroom on site, and plenty of parking.

Finally you can’t beat the price. Again I am so upset that we don’t have anything comparable in my home city and will be making this a pole home base for my future travels!!

Be prepared to share a pole. If you are wanting to take it serious I’d say do 1on1 classes I did LV1 beginners. They Teach you two routines to give u something to work with maybe on your free time at home . Because it’s so many ppl they book within one hr u don’t really get a good quality step by step (in your face help ) with how to position yourself etc. so if u don’t get something right , they move on
the teacher and vibes are really nice and inviting !! Will be booking 1on1 soon!

So fun! I had a Level 1 class with Shannon, and it was a great workout without being overly intimidating or making me feel out of place. I've never pole danced before, I'm a bit bigger, and I haven't worked out in a group in years. I was originally a bit worried I wouldn't be able to keep up, but their classes make it accessible and really, really fun. I immediately signed up for two more classes the same week as my first one!

5 stars is an understatement! This is place is like a million stars. Veronica was a gift from the universe, she was able to do more for me in one hour than I’ve gotten from years of personal efforts. Veronica ended up being one of the best pole instructors I’ve ever experienced.

She was so fast to connect to me and my goals and understood instantly my ability and previous experience on the pole and in dance. She then was able to teach the techniques she laid out for me in a way she knew I needed to learn them, and installed the exact concepts and methods she knew I needed for were I wanted to go.

Unlike many other experiences with classes and studios, this experience left me feeling like I just walked out with a super charged download of pole skills versus the usual feeling of wasted time and little progress I’ve felt with other trainings.

The studio itself is set up so perfectly too. The whole design and layout of the dance room is really interesting bc it’s so warm inviting and elegant yet intimate and professional at the same time. Every little detail of the whole studio is done to perfection.

It’s hard to say something new about a studio that literally has hundreds of five star reviews to its name, but honestly I would just say that for anyone who wants the hands down best pole dance training of their life needs to set this studio and the incredible Veronica as a priority number one to come and experience for yourself.

I’ve been a member of soFly for over a year and it’s been the best pole studio experience. Instructors come from a broad range of backgrounds and experiences and the variety of classes is amazing. The community here is also so supportive and welcoming. Love that LGBTQ+ is a focus and is celebrated. The Webberville space also gets the BEST light and is my favorite place to go on Sundays. Go to a class and grab a taco from Veracruz across the street.
