Oh man… where to begin. I’ll start with the positives. One star for the AMAZING and beautiful facility, equipment, cleanliness, large space, and separate space for the preschool classes; the other star for the very friendly and nice staff. As for what my toddler actually got out of his trial mommy and me preschool class… 0/5 stars. And that is why I can only leave 2 stars.
As a former gymnast and gymnastics coach, I put my child into gymnastics to learn life and development skills, as well as have fun and be able to grow into the sport and have an athletic future. Now, I understand not everyone will agree with me and some parents have their kids in these types of classes just to have fun and have an energy outlet. But I truly believe this facility was teaching my child BAD habits.
In the class, the coach was a teenager. No problem there, but she had no gymnastics experience her self, still not a huge issue there either, but I basically coached and ran the class for my son the entire time. She let the kids run around and do whatever they wanted on each event. Never sat them down and showed them the circuits before hand, just let them do whatever they wanted. Not to mention they took an entire 12 minutes of the 45 minute class to “warm up”, which just consisted of the kids sitting in a circle doing different versions of “butterfly”, and “baking a cake” : activities where they just sit cross cross apple sauce and pretend to be butterflies etc. I was wrangling my toddler to sit down the entire time because they couldnt keep his attention span for more then 5 seconds before he lost interest and wanted to go start doing actual gymnastics! Even I was bored!! There was ZERO class structure. At the end, they let the toddlers put stamps on themselves and let them go crazy with the entire box of stamps.
The gym has great potential. It is new, and the coaches have a long ways to go. I would personally start with a preschool director to train and show the coaches how the class should be run. Sad to say we’ll be going back to our old gym and biting the bullet with the 50 minutes drive so my kid can actually get something out of the class. Very sad about the whole experience, but wanted to share in case other parents out there have my similar goals for their child!

Both of our kids (age 3 and 7) attend the classes here and love them! We also had a birthday party there today and had a great experience! The kids had a blast, the coaches were super organized, and Jason and the team were so helpful! I truly felt they handled everything from passing out pizza, helping with the cake, cleaning up after presents, and so much more. We highly recommend!
