Took a wonderful Yin Yoga class here. The first time I couldn't get in which was a bummer, but second time I did and it was definitely worth it!

I am attending a conference in San Antonio and walked down to the Southtown Yoga Loft tonight for a wonderful session of Vinyasa Yoga with Kelly. She gave me incredible personal and competent attention. I learned new things that I had not understood from my home yoga class. They welcome newcomers warmly. I highly recommend this sweet spot on South Alamo!

Iβve been coming to the MW 6 am yoga classes with Missy since November 2018. In November I was a total yoga beginner, but Missy is a wonderful instructor who was patient with me. Itβs amazing how far my practice has come in the last 9 months! Sometimes itβs tough to get up early, but since the studio is so close, and Missyβs class is always amazing, I am always happy attend. Itβs a great way to start the day!

After having to leave my old studio due to proximity ( AC Power yoga- highly recommend to those living in Alamo Heights ) I passed by Southtown Yoga for a full year before jumping back into my practice... I am SO happy to have found this place. Steve's hot power yoga is INCREDIBLE. He offers a class challenging to the most experienced yogis, but also accessible to beginners (like myself). The power 75 offers a relatively intense 60-ish minute flow followed by 15 minutes of yin yoga and it's the best thing you will offer yourself.

Great beginner class! Spacious studio and it wasn't packed. Izabela led a gentle flow class. Relaxing and worthwhile!

Maybe my standards are higher coming from out of town, but I expect a yoga studio to be clean. And supply towels for power classes. This studio should be amazing.....it's a great space. But, dead bugs (not the pose, the critters!) make for an uneasy practice and non-existent savasana. The class was challenging and helped keep mind off the filth and traffic below. Bring your own mat and props if you try this studio

I grew up in San Antonio when yoga was obscure or nonexistent. After traveling for years, my personal yoga growing, and finally coming back to San Antonio, my first class here filled my heart with joy and awareness that SA's yoga scene has grown and begun to flourish. SYL is real.

SYL is my favorite place to do yoga! And the fact that it's the closest studio to my home, is an added bonus!

I cannot overstate how much I enjoyed yoga with this studio. The mix of comfort and challenge made it a place for me to grow and discover what I am capable of. I highly recommend it!

This place makes me smile! Come see for yourself. Walking through the inviting doors of this space is enough to put you at ease. The instructors are amazing. The community at Southtown Yoga Loft has a lot to offer with an array of interesting people. There is truely something for everyone at this place.
