I decided to check out Space City Gym after seeing some of the great content they post online, and even spoke to some of the trainers from there prior to visiting. The purpose of my visit was to breakaway from the other gym I attend regularly and network as I’m getting into the field of personal training as well. All of the staff was very helpful, friendly, and made you feel right at home. They really make you feel like family even on the first day being there. It was an amazing vibe and a great space. They have a top tier powerlifting cage that I look forward to stepping into more often. All of their equipment is top of the line and up to date. One of the trainers, Cali, also offered to go through a workout with me while I was visiting the gym. He helped improve my form on several exercises and to not be in my head so much on very technical exercises such as deadlifting. Overall, it was an amazing experience! The energy is light and you can focus on your workout without being crowded or waiting for a machine. I’m looking forward to working out at Space City Gym way more often!

This gym was great when I had some hours to kill before a flight. It was close to the airport and close to a Walmart which I was able to get a towel at and use the gyms shower! I would definitely go here again if I have a long layover or if I’m in the area again!

Love the gym, the new gym set up it’s easier to get your work out done. I had left this gym for a couple of months because there was one closer to home but Jai and Kevin make You feel more welcome than any other gym, always have smile in their face ! so I had to come back this is my second home.Jai has a Tuesday and Thursday class and is absolutely great you won’t regret joining her class. They also have a running club on Saturday which my husband and I enjoy its super cool and fun friendly run club . 🏃🏻‍♀️🏋🏻‍♀️

I certainly love this gym, if i only live closer to the area i would make it my home gym, the ambient is calm, the equipment is wide and the personal is always cheering and helpful.

I absolutely LOVE this gym. As someone who is just starting their fitness journey as an adult, I couldn’t have asked, wished, or prayed for a better gym. The gym culture is great! The trainers & staff are so kind and helpful. You’ll never feel judged, out of place, or like a stranger. The trainer did a fabulous job of making me feel welcome. As a Deaf person, he was willing to learn some sign language in order to communicate with me. The equipments in the gym enabled me to work on more specific muscle groups. These kind of equipments are not available in the mainstream or commercialized gyms. Use of spaces was better there.

After years of not going to the gym I wasn’t sure where to start until I came across my trainer, Jayline. She has thought me so much about proper form, what each machine is for and how to properly use them but she also thought me about nutrition. Everyone that works there is so nice and welcoming and the overall community is amazing. I enjoy this gym the most because it is not over crowded like other gyms which makes me focus more on my workout. Overall, this gym has been a 10/10 on all aspects! Jonathan and Kevin withdraw money from my account months later after canceling my account. Even when my card was “supposedly” removed from file. Make it make sense. They didn’t sent any notice/emails or a call they just took my money without authorization. I have no clue where to start. As soon as my girlfriend and I walked in, the ambiance was just kind a felt very genuine, that’s a huge factor for me. I like the machine options and how spaced out the machines are even though it’s a small. They have drinks and food preps and that’s a plus. Restrooms are clean as well. The only thing that I’d like to see (for any future members) I know some men might be a bit uncomfortable without the divider between urinals, I’m personally not bothered about it but I’d like the gym to make EVERYONE feel at home. One of the best small gyms in Houston hands down. Becoming a member immediately.

My boyfriend and I have been looking for a gym that was both small and intentional. From the get go we were welcomed as if we were long time members. A lot of smiles and friendly staff. It has a lot of machine options like a big commercial gym and even a child care which I assume is important for future gym seekers. I genuinely can’t find a defect or anything that might make me stay away. If you’re looking for family feel and commercial variety, this is absolutely the gym for y’all!

Solid gym, but I was being charged double for about a year. They finally stopped charging me, but it’s been 6 months since I first asked for a refund. I’ve made at least 6 calls/texts since.

They also fired my trainer without notifying me, and my last 3/4 remaining training sessions were never made up despite being told they would be :’)

Enter Space City Gym thinking it was a shoe store. Kevin was at the front desk and told me about the free personal trainer opportunity. I met with Jai and the energy from her and all the other employees was amazing. I join and I am excited to see my body transform and my health improve!

Space City gym is a great gym to go and meet your fitness goals. For the most part, Every trainer became my biggest support system and there is no doubt that every client receives the same support system like family.
