Here at Spartan Strength Training I take our work seriously and my only goal is to get you the results you need. That means challenging, integrated workouts involving many different forms of training (where necessary): weight training, conditioning drills, powerlifting, balance training, speed drills, plyometrics, stretch work and many other techniques to help you get the results you desire. I am not only there to push my clients, I am not only there to push my clients, I am there to support, motivate and educate as well. I care about what we do and it shows in our training and in the results experienced by my clients.
I truly enjoy helping people better themselves. It's very rewarding to see someone hit their goals and even surpass them!

When my son came home from middle school with a bruise on his neck from the squat bar I knew it was time to get him the right training for weight lifting. Tres @ Spartan is a great teacher for up and coming athletes looking to get an edge on the competition at an early start. He is extremely knowledgeable in his profession and doesn’t work ahead of what my son is capable of. In just 6 weeks, one workout a week, I can see gains in my son that I know he would not be getting any where else. The app for at home training is just the cherry on top!

Last summer, I had been trying to fight back from double knee surgeries. Standard PT was simply not enough. I’ve always believed in changing the status quo if the current plan is not working. After searching, I found Spartan Strength Training. I liked that it was close, “one on one” & not in a huge crowded facility, but rather a home gym.
Tres was kind enough to take me on & work with me thru some difficult times. He has consistently challenged me, and at the same time, he has never hurt me. He knows how to structure my recovery safely. I was progressing well, & going twice a week. I even learned a few self defense moves on the side. I was building strength & confidence as well. Unfortunately, I was the victim in a car wreck in March. Tres is helping me start over. He had more faith in me, than I did in myself at that low point.
He is always encouraging, always kind, & always putting safety first. I’m steadily making my come back.
Tres is a gifted young man, an energetic hard worker & his young family ranks at the top of his priorities. I highly recommend his services.
Oh, and I’m going to be 70 this year. You are never too old to try something new. Don’t hesitate to give him a call, visit his gym & see how he can structure a plan to help your individual needs.

I broke my back a year ago because of a poorly organized weight lifting program so getting back into lifting was scary for me. My dad found Tres online and I had my first session about 2 months ago and I have never felt stronger. I am playing softball in college next year so I told Tres I wanted to be back to my old strength so I am ready for my new chapter and he has done a great job at helping me meet that goal. He pushes me, but never too far where I feel uncomfortable or unsafe and always make sure I don't feel any pain like I used to. Now, I am lifting more than I ever was before breaking my back, all thanks to Tres!

I have been working out withTres since 2021. Tres is an amazing trainer. He is definitely the master of his craft, but he also trains with kindness and compassion, which is rare. Workouts are thoughtfully put together, so that if he has a group of 2-3, everyone has equal attention and workouts flow nicely.
He makes the workout definitely challenging. However, I have never felt like a failure if I have a hard time completing an exercise.
The facility has all the necessary equipment and he is priced very fairly.
Check out tres and Spartan Strength. You won’t regret it .

My husband and I go workout together. Our workout needs and desires are quite different, however Tres does a great job of gearing each workout to each individual person. My husband said he would do this for a couple of months only. He wasn’t thrilled to be doing it. We both like Tres and the way he works with us so much that we’ve been going almost a year.

Tres at Spartan Strength is the real deal! His focus on rehabilitative strength training is what drew me in but his approach is way more than that! He is willing to customize his training to whatever you need. He provides not only the training but also the app, meal planning, off-site workouts, and supplements. He will even set up remote training. Better yet, he’s even willing to train kids. My 11 year old daughter went and loved it! Tres’ training is definitely worth it!

Our teenage son had a back injury while weight lifting at school due to poor training and supervision, so we were seeking a trainer for proper technique. My mom and I started seeing Tres a few months ago and he has been amazing! I am overweight and my mom is older. As a trainer, he has a fantastic attitude and knows his stuff.
I have never felt guilty about not being able to do something, if I need a modification, he's more than happy to help find something that works. In just a few months, I have seen a lot of improvement in my general well-being and sports performance. Some of the home exercises he's assigned me have helped to repair my torn rotator cuff. My mom is more confident, stronger, and healthier.

Tres always knows what is talking about, with years of experience! Tres is friendly and open minded. Has his own gym behind his house and this is a great option for one on one time without paying for at home training! I signed up for a 3month program and extremely happy with my progress and with what I have learned from him. Tres is the first personal trainer I have ever used and I couldn’t have asked for a better one. He helped me prepare for a couple of Spartan races and now we are working towards growing my overall strength. The workouts with him always vary and keep things interesting, which I appreciate. The workout routines and training here are amazing! Rene changes the workout sessions so every session is something new. My girlfriend and I have been going here for roughly a year, twice a week so it is impressive that we get in new workouts every session!
Rene can also work around any injuries or soreness to ensure you don't skip a muscle group. Rene also provided us with a great meal plan and exercise routines for days that we don't meet with him, which helps ensure we are doing our best each week.

I would 10/10 highly recommend Spartan Strength Training to anyone, and I often do! I first found Tres a few years ago and currently training with him once more! Within just a few months with proper diet and training my body was transforming in a way I never knew possible. I was fearful of getting bulky from lifting weights but quite the opposite was happening. I lost about 20-25lbs in a 6 month span and was stronger than ever! Tres works with you in training and nutrition advising vitamins and has vegetarian and vegan friendly meal plans. I travel out to his personal gym and I love the fresh air and nature. I wouldn’t want to train anywhere else!

Rene aka Tres the trainer at Spartan Strength Training is very professional, pleasant and a great coach during workouts. My wonderful partner and I do a couple's workout with him with alternating days between his studio and our place, which is very convenient!
Even if we might be sore or tired we still look forward to our workouts because Rene always tries to incorporate a new routine or machine or former exercise with a new twist. It will soon be one year since we chose him as our trainer and I don't think we've repeated a workout routine as yet!

Tres was my trainer. He really knew what he was doing -He weighs, measures and made sure I stuck to my diet and gave me more workouts to do at home. He gives positive feedback and really pays attention and made sure I wasn’t cheating. I am 53 years old. I went to Spartan strength training to become physically fit and gain muscle mass and that is exactly what Rene helped me achieve. I recently had kidney cancer and had to have one of my kidneys removed. Once I am cleared to exercise, I will be going back to Spartan strength training.
