I joined back in May 2025. I attended my first session and it was the most unique workout experience I’ve ever had. Then I broke my ankle playing hockey. The staff was so understanding and offered to freeze my membership until I was ready to come back. I finally rehabilitated to the point that I could start again in October 2025. They remembered who I was even though I’d been gone for 6 months. They started my membership back up, and even honored the promotion I had signed up for back in May. The experience is great! Reserve your spot for a session in the app and show up at least 5 mins early to get settled. The staff greet you with friendly faces. Spin for 20, Strength for 20, and yoga for 20. The same instructor guides you through the workout, motivating and encouraging the group. In spin, you peddle to the beat of the music, adding and removing resistance with a knob on the bike as the instructor guides you through four effort zones. Your effort is tracked by the system so you can monitor your progress. After that you get off the bike and walk over to your strength station. The instructor takes you through rounds of exercise with short rests in between. Each time I go there are different strength exercises that work different muscle groups. Ease into it with modified options or go balls out with heavier weights - you get out what you put into it. Finally yoga. Take off your shoes and walk into the studio to claim a mat. Your instructor guides you through various motions and poses to stretch and strengthen, all in a quiet , low light, and soothing environment. The workout is done before you realize it and you feel proud to have done it for yourself. Go SPENGA!

I really enjoyed my Spenga class! I loved how the workout was broken into three parts—spin, strength, and yoga. The transitions kept things moving and made the time fly by. The instructors were upbeat and motivating, and the energy in the room made it easy to push myself harder than I would on my own. I also liked that the class felt well-rounded—I got cardio, weight training, and stretching all in one session. I left feeling challenged but not overwhelmed, and definitely plan to come back.

I have been in the group fitness world for over 2 years now, doing many different workouts. I tried SPENGA for the first time in April, and I absolutely love it. I road cycle, and being able to get in an indoor cycle when the weather does not cooperate or when time is limited is a huge plus for me. The strength floor is quick and efficient, and the Yoga at the end really sets one up for success.
Out of the three awesome coaches I have had, Madison is a rock star. Her music, tempo and cues on the bike are spot on. As a trainer, she gives great attention on the weight floor, making adjustments and corrections individually as necessary. Her Yoga sessions move at a reasonable pace, never boring, yet not moving so fast I get twisted up.
If you are thinking about group fitness in general, or SPENGA specifically, stop thinking and GO. You'll be glad you did.

I joined SPENGA Saginaw about 6 weeks ago and I can’t say enough great things about this location.
Every single coach and front desk staff are great and most of them have taken the time to learn my name and who I am. Every workout is unique because each coach offers different music tastes, different styles of teaching, and different ways to motivate you. No two workouts have been the same.
SPENGA offers a great teacher discount when you first sign up which encouraged me to start. I finally enjoy working out and have already seen major progress! 💚

I did Spenga for about 5 months. So I am updating review now. I have nothing but good stuff to say! The staff is sweet, and have put up with all my annoying questions and stuff - like please don’t put me on the front row☠️- the work out is great and the instructions are easy to follow. The music is awesome. The facility is clean. The instructors are knowledgeable and fun!
Update - I did consistently have to ask to not be put in the front row…. You don’t get to pick your bike when you sign up for a class. It’s assigned. But if you get there early enough you can move to a different bike. I did feel like the workouts were consistently the same work outs, a few instructors you can tell take a lot of time to mix it up and that makes the class better. I got tired of always doing the same - lounges and squats. Wish they used the TRX more. I met the owner 4-5 times yet she never remembered who I was, I was slightly taken back by that since most of the classes I went to had 8-15 People in it. The schedule changes constantly and seemed to have too long of breaks between classes, which then could make working out at a good time that works with most people’s work schedule really hard. The gym was clean but over time it did seem it needed a little more attention.

I love this place! It’s a great workout that hits everything you need - cardio, strength, and flexibility - in one very efficient hour. They also have sessions for just weights or just yoga. I’ve never done yoga as my whole workout (usually just for stretching at the end of a cardio workout) and I was amazed at what a great workout it was! The instructor - Leilani - was fantastic. Absolutely love Spenga. I've gotten so bored with traditional gyms and never felt like I was hitting the mark. Spenga's guided sessions are so motivating and supportive, and results come quick. I decided to try something new and I wasn't sorry! First off, this was BY FAR the CLEANEST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN! Especially considering it was a gym! It smelled amazing, and was such a great experience. Nancy was an excellent coach and I loved that it was split up into 3 phases so it didn't get monotonous. I was apprehensive about the cycling portion, but it was great and I liked that it wasn't the entire hour. The seats were also larger and more comfortable than others I have tried. When I got home even my toddler couldn't stop smelling me because I "smelled so good!" LOL I can't wait to go back!

This is one of the best full-body workouts out there! You can do anything for 20 min which makes each portion of the workout manageable- 20 min of spin, 20 min of strength, 20 min of yoga. The instructors are super-motivating and help you modify each exercise to your ability level - all levels of fitness have a place here! And the community that comes with Spenga gives you a place to belong with people with similar interests and goals! One word of caution: Spenga is highly addictive - always wanting to see if you can increase your sweet spot, do the spin choreo, hold boat pose a little longer or push yourself just a bit further each day!

I am happy I joined Spenga! I feel like they offer quality workout training at a facility that is well cared for. It’s never boring and they have wonderful staff. The only downer is the strong disinfectant smell which I’ve found nauseating at times, but it’s definitely clean.
