Yo, it’s the barbell temple, plates start to clang,
Starting Strength crew where the real lifters bang.
PRs on the daily, coaches bring the heat,
Jayne, Bent, Jordan — yeah they can’t be beat.
Form so strict, technique on lock,
Confidence rising every time that you squat.
Deadlifts heavy, presses hit the sky,
Fail? Nah man, we just re-try.
Iron sharpens iron, this the best spot,
Community’s fire, atmosphere hot.
If you wanna get strong, no gimmicks, no tricks,
Starting Strength the lab, where the magic sticks.
Want me to make this a bit longer and tailor the rhyme schemes so you could actually spit it in rhythm over a beat?
You said:
can it rhyme better?
ChatGPT said:
Got you — let’s tighten the flow so it’s cleaner and rhymes harder, still in that Em style:
Step in the gym, it’s the Strength foundation,
PRs pop off like a detonation.
Jayne, Brent, Jordan — pure dedication,
Coaching so sharp, it’s an education.
Bar hits the floor, crowd feel that quake,
Every rep clean, no room for fake.
Press, squat, dead — no shortcuts to take,
Steel builds will, watch the records break.
Energy raw, it’s the best you’ll find,
Community strong, all body, all mind.
Starting Strength fam — one of a kind,
Chasing new heights, leave the weak behind.

So I think I got it right this time, i’m new to the strength training in Dallas, Texas, they offer a free 30 minute, strength training program, I learned more in like 30 minutes than I’ve had in a few years, next week I’ll be starting my journey, with the program I will update you, after a month of training, I have a good feeling about Dallas facility. I’m starting this strength training due to the fact that I’m going back to Powerlifting., i’m a 67 year-old female, master lifter, you don’t have to be a powerlifter , strength training is best for older adults, keep those bones, strong, , And keep mobility, sign it off, Carolyn

I’ve been to Starting Strength Dallas about four times now, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience. From the very first 30-minute intro session with Brent, I felt supported, welcomed, and excited to get started. I’ve now begun the three-times-a-week program and I’m already thrilled with the progress I’m making.
As someone recovering from long COVID, I was a bit nervous going in — but this has turned out to be the perfect program to rebuild my strength safely and effectively. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and meet you exactly where you are. Everyone works at their own pace, and the environment is both motivating and inclusive.
The group I train with is fantastic, and everyone at the gym has been so kind and encouraging. I’m genuinely excited to keep going and see where this journey takes me. Highly recommend Starting Strength Dallas to anyone looking to get strong with expert guidance and a supportive community.

Joining Starting Strength Dallas has truly been life-changing for me. When I began my journey in September 2024, I was over 400 lbs and honestly didn’t enjoy the gym at all. But after starting here in December, everything shifted. I’ve since lost over 100 lbs, built muscle, and completely transformed how I look and feel.
The coaching staff is outstanding. Brent, Jordan, John, and especially Jayne — who has been my main coach — have supported me every step of the way. They’re knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in helping you reach your goals.
What I love most is the positive environment. Everyone, from the coaches to the other members, is friendly and encouraging. It’s a place where people celebrate each other’s progress, no matter where you’re starting from. I used to dread working out, and now I actually look forward to it.
If you’re thinking about getting stronger, improving your health, or just want a supportive community to help you along the way, I can’t recommend Starting Strength Dallas enough. Signing up was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made — and it could be for you too.

I highly recommend Starting Strength in Dallas. The program is outstanding and I greatly enjoyed my visit while in town for work. I’ve been following the program in my home gym and the coaching and group sessions I received in Dallas were a huge benefit to my progress. All the coaches I encountered were friendly, knowledgeable, and encouraging. The other folks training were pulling for one another and welcoming to me. If you live in Dallas, join Starting Strength. If you follow the program but don’t have a gym nearby, book a private session while you’re in town and get some expert feedback for your journey. It’ll be time and money well spent! I’m already looking forward to my next visit to Dallas.

This gym is not only a supportive environment; it’s a community. I got stuck in Dallas on a layover and spent an entire Saturday morning training and hanging out. Brent and Jane are excellent coaches who provide feedback for ever member on every set and rep of the workouts. The classes cheer each other on. It doesn’t matter whether you’re learning to squat or squatting 500 for a set of five; you will get equal treatment, attention, and enthusiasm form the staff and other members. I saw teenagers and octogenarians who were both benefitting from the program. I’m my one day here, I heard multiple stories about the impact of Starting Strength on health markers and quality of life. It’s a supportive, relaxed, and friendly atmosphere where everyone bonds over mutual improvement. There is nowhere better to go to get moving.

I joined this gym on a whim... as someone nearing 40 with very little gym experience. I promised myself a month, and if I still wanted to quit, I would. I'm currently nearing the end of month 2 with what I can finally say is more than a chore, it's a hobby. I'll be honest, it took a few weeks for it to get better, but I'm glad I stuck through. Jayne is very straightforward and it may be a bit overwhelming at first, but once you settle in and learn the ropes a little she's a goofball. Long story short, 5 stars, I recommend 👌

I recently visiting Dallas and had the opportunity to attend a class with my son at the Starting Strength Dallas location. My son regularly attends sessions there and his wife and my daughter have too in the past. There is no gym like this where I live so therefore I am a beginner. First, Coach Jayne had a pair of lifting shoes that I could borrow for the session. Second, Coach Jayne assessed my skills and chose the appropriate weights for a successful experience. Third, Coach Jayne taught me the correct form for lifting to minimize risk of injury. Forth, I felt like I had my own personal trainer even though I was in a class because of the personalized attention to detail and supervision while lifting the weights to keep me safe. In addition, the kindness and encouragement from Coach Jayne and Coach Brent created a positive environment to which I would like to experience again the next time I am in Dallas.

I joined the Chicago gym in January and saw how rapidly my life could change with proper coaching, the right environment and a program that consistently challenges you to be better.
So when my work schedule started to involve more traveling, I was nervous about disruptions to my schedule. But the coaches in Chicago make introductions to coaches in cities where Starting strength has a presence.
And I was lucky enough to drop in a for a week in Dallas.
Not only was my training uninterrupted, I received the same exemplary coaching that I’ve been used to and continued my pursuit of new personal records.
The coaches are phenomenal and the folks I lifted were kind, welcoming and supportive - all traits I’ve grown accustomed to popping in and out of other gyms.
It just makes me even more happy to have found this program.

I came to starting strength with about 10 years of "experience" in the gym. Despite all those years under my belt, I was constantly getting injured and was never really seeing appreciable results or getting any stronger.
In only 4 months at starting strength, I drastically improved all my lifts and feel much more solid with respect to being injury resistant.
Having coaches like Jordan, Morgan, Jayne and Brent has been priceless and I highly recommend starting your strength journey here.

Nov of 2021 I came to this place out of desperation at a really tough time in my life emotionally and physically. I was looking for something to help me feel stronger and healthier. Never did I think it would help like it has. Learning to squat, deadlift, bench press and overhead press has made my body and my mind stronger. There is a tenacity that grows as your weight capacity grows that transfers to every day life. Difficult situations become just another heavy squat that you CAN accomplish. The other members are encouraging but don’t accept half-way effort. The coaches know their craft and guide you as you develop in skill and strength. The mental lessons I’ve learned are worth the price by itself.

I attended SS Dallas two years ago for about 9 months. I had never lifted anything before in any capacity. I deadlifted 360 before I left. They considered that relatively slow progress. It changed my relationship with my body completely. If you want the most efficient path-- a path that will keep you from developing half-baked ideas, using programming unsuited to your skill level, or wasting your own time with too little or too much volume-- visit these friendly and straightforward people.

At the time of this writing, I've been going to Starting Strength Dallas for about 16 months. The strength I've gained in that amount of time is amazing. The coaching here is terrific. The program is very sound. The social environment is encouraging and fun.
The only thing that I really do well is show up. And I will assure anyone reading this review that if you do the same the results will follow. In my 16 months, I've added over 200lbs to my squat and over 250 to my deadlift. I'm in my 60's. I couldn't be more pleased with the way I look and feel.
My motivation when joining Starting Strength was to gain the strength necessary to age gracefully. I am completely confident that I am achieving my goal.

I can honestly say this program has made an incredibly positive impact on my life. After back surgery five years ago, I had constant pain and soreness in my lower back. I could barely walk up a flight of stairs in my house, my sense of balance was terrible, and my overall strength was poor. At 76 years old I had resigned myself to just be an old man. Encouraged by my wife and best friend (who lifts with Brent), I gave it a try., and much to my surprise I LOVED IT! The careful coaching by Brent is geared to each individuals abilities and the encouragement by him and all of the others in my class has made this a MUST DO for me. Even though there are days where I just don't feel up to going, I do, and I feel so much better afterwards. I have been lifting with Brent now for almost two years and look forward to, hopefully, many more. My back is much better as is my balance and overall strength. I am physically so much better off than I was two years ago. You can be also!

In 2021, closing in on my 69th birthday, I decided to try barbell training in the hope of slowing some age-related losses: bone density, strength and agility for everyday tasks, etc. Having never done this before, the small group coaching model appealed. Almost 2 years later, it has proved to be a great decision. The coaches deliver it--they are knowledgeable, patient, and responsive to each member's specific goals and progress. They also create a friendly atmosphere where the newbie and the experienced are all welcome and cheer each other on. As for my original goals, some improvements I noticed right away--better posture, gait, and balance. And I now look forward to answering all those "old person" questions at the doctor's office with a resounding "Well, yes! Yes I can do that thing (lift, carry, squat, get up and down from the floor)!"

I’ve been a member of SS Dallas since late 2020 when I drove by, noticed the sign and scheduled an intro session.
After joining (at the age of 56) I quickly discovered how badly untrained and weak I was. It’s been a long and sometimes difficult process, but the coaches worked with me each week, each workout to keep adding weight to the bar and to overcome physical issues I had with my hips and shoulders.
When I began, I couldn’t do a proper squat or press because of mobility issues and chronic pain caused by old injuries and years of a desk job and little exercise. Fast forward to today, after weekly, consistent hard work, as guided by my coaches, my hips and shoulders are pain free, I feel and look better, I’m a heck of a lot stronger and I’m still setting new PR’s regularly.
I want to thank Brent for running a great operation and encouraging me personally all along the way and also thank Jayne, David, Jordan, Jones and all the other coaches (and my great gym mates!) who have pushed me each workout to get better.
If you’re serious about getting stronger, I highly recommend Starting Strength Dallas!

I've done a couple of weight training programs in the past and this is by far the fastest I've ever gotten strong without injury. HIGHLY recommended (and shoutout to Coach Jayne for being the best!).

Expert coaching that’s accessible and inviting. The only pressure here is the pressure to perfect your form, and become stronger. The gym is a welcoming mix of all types, genders, shapes, sizes, ages, and cultures. I’m so glad to have this gym in my neighborhood, but I’d happily drive a distance to work out here anyway.

Started training here about 2 months ago and couldn't be happier. After not being in a gym for over two decades, I was a bit nervous about starting to lift weights again, but the coaches here are fantastic. Knowledgeable, detail-oriented and supportive. The other members are great too; everyone cheers each other on. Anyone serious about getting stronger could do no better than Starting Strength.

I've tried a lot of different gyms and programs, and Starting Strength has by far been my favorite. The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and know how to produce results. I've made great progress in just a month of training here, which has been so rewarding to see especially after struggling to fix my form and improve my lifts on my own. I would absolutely recommend Starting Strength Dallas!

The staff did a great job assessing my teenagers and introducing them to barbell training. They have made amazing progress very quickly. They are more athletic and recover more quickly from sports (ex: football). More importantly, they now have a solid foundation for a lifetime of strength training. Many thanks to this staff for making a profoundly positive impact on my kids.

Careful, attentive, patient, and precise one on one training from the knowledgeable staff here makes you confident that you are really on a safe path to 'starting strength' even if you are a complete novice to weight training. The facility is spotless and airy and well equipped. Small classes mean lots of individual attention to ensure correct form and safety but still affords the opportunity to develop a little workout camaraderie. A great place to train.

Simply put, Starting Strength Dallas changed my life. Low back injuries made it hard to be the kind of mom I wanted to be (active, hands-on, physical, and adventurous). But, through Jayne and Brent’s patient, consistent, coaching; and Starting Strength’s powerful programming, I’ve gotten my life back. My back issues are resolved; and I am the mom I always wanted to be.
I do not consider myself a weightlifting type. I was more of a cardio/yoga/10 pound hand weights type. Then, my first son was born, and my back issues got worse. I kept throwing my back out doing baby-related activities (lifting the stroller out of the car; carrying my baby). I was afraid to travel with my son for fear that I might throw my back out en route. I had always wanted to be an active mom, and these back issues were preventing me from being the mom I wanted to be.
So, I went to physical therapy; got serious about back stretches and exercises...nothing seemed to make a difference. Until Starting Strength Dallas.
I started the program skeptical — I had never really trained before; and I was concerned that training could make my injuries worse. Boy was I wrong. Within 2 months of joining Starting Strength, my back injury had resolved.
Jayne was my first coach; and she was patient, understanding, consistent, and helpful. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing; but she made the experience anything but intimidating. Slowly and consistently, she helped me get stronger and stronger...until I was fully comfortable traveling alone with my son; and living the adventurous life I had dreamed of for myself.
I got pregnant again, and vowed to stick with the program through the pregnancy so that I could be as strong as possible through the delivery and recovery process (pending my doctors approval). It was a high-risk pregnancy likely to end in c section; but I knew that staying strong would help with the recovery.
Then, the pandemic hit...and threw a wrench in those plans. Though my doctor was comfortable with me continuing weight training, she wasn’t comfortable with me doing so at a gym. I worried I would lose all of my progress; and that my second pregnancy recovery would look like my first — injury-ridden and confidence-killing.
Enter Brent and Jayne. They bent over backwards to come up with a program that enabled me to keep training. Brent would come to my house (specifically to my garage, which we kept open to the outside) to train with me once a week. And Jayne would coach me virtually by video twice per week. They showed up for me in a big way.
Over the course of the pandemic and throughout my pregnancy, through the dead of Dallas summer, Brent showed up at my (steamy, buggy) garage every week. He adjusted exercises to accommodate my changing body; he wore a mask and kept distance the entire time. He was kind, dedicated, consistent, patient, flexible, encouraging...and he made getting stronger fun!
With Brent and Jayne’s help, I trained until the day before my c section. The baby is perfect; and my recovery was about 80% easier than my recovery from my first c section — no back issues, no mobility problems. I was able to recover quickly and jump right into being the mom I wanted to be. I attribute all of that to Brent, Jayne, and the Starting Strength Dallas program.

I have had quite a few problems with back and knee pain due to old injuries. In an effort to improve my health, I had tried lifting some weights on my own in the past but always found it difficult to progress very far without exacerbating my injuries. Ultimately, after doing some research, I stumbled across this gym and decided to give it a go. Brent and Matt worked with me and after a couple of months my knee pain has drastically improved (it still flares up from time to time, but it is much much better). My back pain took a bit longer to resolve, but 4 months in and I feel better than I have in years. One of my biggest takeaways from this experience, is just how important it is to have a knowledgeable professional coaching you through the process. There is much more to picking things up and putting them down again than you would think. Again, the experience has been fantastic and I highly recommend Brent, Matt and the rest of the team at Starting Strength Dallas.

14 yards gained with irons.
Handicap has fallen for 7 to 1.
no fatigue now during rounds.

No silly BS! Brent and Jordan (and all the strength coaches here) just want to help people get stronger. The most efficient way to get stronger is the Starting Strength method. No matter what your age or training history, if you're interested in gaining strength, I highly recommend this gym. They have intro sessions almost every Saturday to explain their philosophy and go over the health benefits of barbell training. The Starting Strength Coaching certification is extremely rigorous. You won't find this level of expertise at a big box gym. When you compare the average fee for a personal trainer, the per session cost turns out to be quite reasonable at Starting Strength.

Been a member of the gym for about 3 weeks now and here is my experience:
The gym is clean as can be at all times. Everything is sanitized after every lifter and a real effort is made to keep everything as clean as possible.
The equipment is top notch, barbells are nice , squat racks are extremely effective and the platforms are solid.
But here’s why you really need to go here, especially if you are starting off lifting weights. The attention to detail they provide is incredible.
I mean every rep and after every set you are getting HONEST feedback. They know the cues to use to make you get the form right and care about your progress and goals.
Brent ,the gym owner ,is a stand up guy , you can tell he’s probably run a business before and cares about his members.
Big shout out to Jordan, one of the coaches. He gives great feedback and his knowledge of the mechanics of the lifts is impressive .
Go for a month and the price will be some of the best dollars you’ve ever spent , trust me.

My squat was stuck at 255 for 5 reps for 2 years and within 3 months of being coached I smashed that PR with 285 for 5 reps. My deadlift has never been stronger. My body as a whole has never felt stronger and I’m actually spending less time per week to achieve greater results. This gym is world class at what it does - coaching regular people to become as strong as they can so they can live a healthy, productive, and active life well into their 80’s and 90’s.

I've been training at Starting Strength Dallas since last May 2020. With Brent's coaching, In less than 3 months I have doubled my squat from 115lbs to 230lbs and added 140lbs to my deadlift from 175lbs to 315lbs. I was initially scared of deadlifting because of a history of back injuries, but with the coaching I received and focus on technique I have remained injury free while getting much stronger. While my weight has been steady I have dropped almost 4 inches from my waistline. The coaches are friendly and the other members are friendly and outgoing, the classes I go to are always a good time with jokes, laughter, and conversation between sets.
I can't recommend Starting Strength Dallas strongly enough for anyone looking to gain strength, improve conditioning, and spend time with some good folks.

For Christmas my dad paid for a membership to Starting Strength Dallas. I was tired of being flabby, overweight and weak anyways to put it bluntly. In my case I used to work mostly with my hands but over the years my lower back bothered me more and more so I switched to mostly desk work. I was told by doctors I have sciatica and to do stretches. I did stretches daily for several months but it had almost zero effect. I was convinced my back pain was irreversible so I dealt with it by avoiding things that made the pain worse. First couple weeks at Starting Strength I was concerned that bar bell lifting was going to cause me a lot of pain. I couldn’t have been more wrong! I’m happy to report that within 3 weeks of lifting at Starting Strength my constant 1 or 2 out of 10 pain level dropped to zero. ZERO AND HOLDING FOR THREE MONTHS! Do I occasionally get a sore muscle here and there? Yep but it doesn’t even register as a 1/10 in pain. And it’s a totally different pain vs the sciatica thing. I do still have twinges and weird numbness due to sciatica but NOT pain like before. I will likely have back pain again in my life but I will lift until the day I die because now I know it was a strength issue that only lifting could address. I feel better and look better thanks to the awesome coaching at Starting Strength Dallas.

I’ve been a member for 7 months now and I’m still always happy to be at the gym. I’ve gained a lot of strength and get a lot of compliments from my friends. I’ve convinced a few of my friends to join and they are seeing big differences too.
On your first day, your coach will show you the proper form for the lifts. You will start off with a weight that is light and work up to a weight that is challenging for you. Every coach has practiced explaining everything clearly to complete beginners so you will definitely be able to do it.
I’ve talked with members in their twenties and with grandmothers and high schoolers and power lifters. You will see some members who are new and very weak and you will see some very strong guys who can squat over 400 pounds. They all talk about the progress they’ve made and how much they enjoy it.
By the way, if you have an injury, or are inflexible, or have any problem with the lifts, the coaches know how to make adjustments.
You should join us. I’ll cheer you on when you finish a challenging lift and set a personal record.
The best news is that it doesn’t take long to see results. The fastest progress is made when you are just starting out.

If you are serious about wanting to get strong, if you are less than satisfied with your previous results with personal trainers, weight machines, or training on your own, if you want expert instruction in barbell training, you cannot go wrong with Starting Strength Dallas. Brent Carter and his team of expert coaches will teach you the proper barbell lifting techniques and will provide critique and feedback for you every training session as you progress through the program. Developed by Mark Rippetoe, the Starting Strength methodology is designed to increase strength through four basic compound barbell lifts - the squat, deadlift, overhead press, and bench press. Trainees will typically perform three of the four barbell lifts per training session for 3 work sets of 5 reps. Squats and deadlifts are typically performed every training session and overhead press and bench press will alternate between sessions. As the trainee successfully completes a session, weight on the bar will be increased for the next training session. Methodically and steadily, trainees lift heavier and heavier weights, and strength correspondingly increases. You will get strong.
I discovered Starting Strength a little over a year ago and made good progress training on my own. However, I joined the Starting Strength Dallas Gym as soon as I heard it was opening, and I have trained there since its opening in July 2019. Prior to the gym's opening, while training on my own, I encountered "plateaus" - certain weights that I just could not seem to get past. However, I have since rocketed past these plateaus due to the form critique and correction offered by the coaching staff. The improvements in my lifting technique have added much more capacity to my lifts. Weights that previously were a physical struggle are now part of my warm up lifts.
Training at Starting Strength Dallas is an incredible value. Instead of paying an exorbitant amount for 30-45 minutes of a personal trainer's one-on-one time, the Starting Strength Dallas trainee, for a lower price, receives training as part of a small group (typically 6-9). The coaches provide initial instruction (and additional instruction if/as necessary) for every trainee. The coaches also critique and provide feedback for trainees for their last warm up set and for every work set. As every trainee has his or her own pace (there is usually about 5 minutes rest between work sets), there is ample time for the coaching staff to rotate among trainees and dedicate 100% attention to each trainee's lifts. This is a much more efficient use of time and resources for trainees and coaches.
Aside from financial savings, the best "value" one gets training at Starting Strength Dallas is the increase in strength. Like I said, you will get strong.
How many people do you know who have gone to gyms for years with no measurable progress to speak of? How much money have they spent doing that? What benefit is it to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars at gyms or with personal trainers and end up with no tangible, lasting results? That simply will not happen at Starting Strength Dallas.
I would like to finish with a few words about the atmosphere and camaraderie at Starting Strength Dallas. Brent and his staff are truly first-rate. They are experienced, extremely knowledgeable, dedicated to helping their trainees, and caring. Trainees come from all sorts of ages and backgrounds and have all sorts of weight training abilities and experiences. No matter if you are an experienced lifter, or if you have never lifted a barbell before, you will be warmly welcomed by Brent and his staff and by your fellow gym mates. Everyone celebrates each other's achievements in the journey of developing strength, and this also contributes to making Starting Strength Dallas such a wonderful place to train.

I am new to Dallas, but have been familiar with the Starting Strength programming for several years. I previously attempted the program on my own, but I never had the opportunity to be taught the Starting Strength method by a knowledgeable coach.
Having read the book several times, I thought I knew what I was doing, but there is so much I was still getting wrong.
What a difference a coach makes! Even in my first session I could tell a difference and now that I've had the opportunity to go through multiple sessions, I'm truly shocked at how much more progress I could have made had I been coached from day one. Signing up for long term training was a no-brainer.
The Starting Strength Dallas gym is clean, everyone is friendly, and every coach I've interactive with has been awesome (and more importantly, consistent!)
If you're serious about barbell training but have never been coached, or if you're on the fence about getting a coach, just get the intro package like I did and see what kind of difference it can make for you.
I cannot recommend this gym enough if you're serious about getting strong under a barbell.

If you are reading this review, you will benefit from Starting Strength Dallas. Avoid the injury and frustration by learning to lift correctly from the beginning.
The location is convenient, parking is easy, and the equipment top of the line. The signup experience was a a breeze. When you show up for your first class, your name is on a screen with your work sets and weight listed, and the offer a physical and digital logbook. They make it easy. Class sizes are capped, so you're assured to always get a lot of attention, cues and support. I've been impressed across the board with the staff.
I think it's the best fitness value in town. For the cost of a fancy spin class, you get 90 minutes of quality, technically correct coaching on the key lifts, 3 times a week.
3 years ago I broke my leg. Tibia, Fibula, ACL, MCL, Meniscus. 3 surgeries and 4 weeks of bedrest resulted in a lot of muscle loss. Outside of the doc prescribed PT, this is my first attempt to rebuild strength. I would have laughed if you told me I'd be lifting the weight I am now post injury.
My surgeon told me the best thing I could do to rehab and prevent re-injury was resistance training, specifically squats and deadlifts. 3 years later I'm finally taking his advice. I explained how Starting Strength works, and he is enthusiastic.
Do yourself a favor and check this place out. They have an open house every Saturday from 10 to 12.
Many thanks to Brent, Jayne, Michael, Will, Jordan and the rest of the SSD team.

I've been hitting the gym for a little over two years now and have pretty much stalled out, things were hurting all the time, etc. I found out about Starting Strength from their YouTube channel (which is one of the most helpful fitness channels on YouTube) and when I found out they had opened a gym in my area, I figured I'd give it a try.
After about two months, I added about an average of about 30 pounds each to my main lifts (bench press, overhead press, squat, and deadlift), and most importantly, all of the pain I was experiencing during and after workouts was gone.
In addition, I found that I was way less tired after the day after workouts and had alot more time on my hands (I was going to the gym 6 days a week and was dead on my feet because of a lack of recovery) and found even better results for strength, health, and even body composition.
Overall, if you're someone who is new to fitness or lifting, this is a great place to start so that you develop the right habits. If you're experienced, the coaches will find a way to improve your lifts. If you're skeptical, give a class a try and see how many things the coaches can help you improve on.
