This gym is very clean and I love the padded floor for my achey knees. Nate is super knowledgeable on issues most personal trainers I've worked with know nothing about. As a person who was an elite athlete in my 20's and 30's, and just surviving with chronic pain and fatigue for over 20 years now, I totally trust Nate to help me get back to thriving. He gave me 3 exercises in my first session and after just one week, I'm feeling less pain. If you are over 40 and struggling with pain to get in shape, run (or hobble as fast as you can) to Stowe Personal Training.

Nate is hands down the best trainer I’ve worked with! And I’ve worked with a bunch of trainers from my journey losing 130lbs 17 years ago. Nate trained me for over 3 years. He has a focus on longevity and he customizes the workout plan to my needs and wants. He will adjust for my lifestyle as it adapts. He meets me where I’m at too and goes with that pace. Most recently we created a plan to gain muscle and in 5 months I added 12lbs, 1.5” to chest and biceps. I highly recommend Nate for your workout and personal training needs.

If you’re looking for personal training in Austin, Texas, I can’t recommend Stowe Training Systems enough! Nate was my trainer, and he’s seriously the best — super patient, thoughtful, and really motivating. He always made sure to work around my spine/back issues and found exercises that actually helped me get stronger without hurting myself. I ended up feeling the strongest I ever have and the most comfortable in my own skin. Nate truly knows his stuff and cares about his clients!

AN UPDATE: I'm now in my late 50's and still going to the best personal trainer in Austin! If you have any doubt or questions, just schedule a visit and see for yourself. In addition to Nate's vast knowledge and skill as a trainer, Nate has created an environment where every person is welcome and feels welcome regardless of their fitness, size, training background (if any), etc.... It's an environment where everyone supports each other. Read below for my background, but know that I've stayed with Nate (Stowe Training) all these years because his program works. I can carry things up and down the stairs with confidence and energy. I can lift my nieces and nephews and be "the fun aunt". My hip pain is still gone. Working with Nate has been the best thing I've done for myself (and my family) in the last 10 years. If you're considering starting a program, or changing from one, I hope you'll see what his clients are talking about by giving him a call.
My first review: When I first tried Stowe training I was in my early 50’s overweight, in pain with hip issues, and was skeptical that strength training was for me. Nate is incredibly knowledgeable, and I’ve worked with a lot of physical therapists over the years, but his expertise and instruction (so you don’t get injured) has helped me heal in a way I didn’t think possible. Nate is also extremely professional. He has cultivated a following of people who are positive, supportive, and encourage each other in these small group sessions. It has become a bit of a fun sanctuary for me as I continue to build strength, flexibility, and confidence. Oh yeah - the hip pain - gone! Nate has done more for me than all the PTs combined. It’s amazing! If you want to get stronger and feel better, give Nate a try and I’m certain you’ll be writing a glowing review too!

PS. After about a year I can deadlift 150 lbs!!!!! Feels awesome!!! Stowe Training works!

Ive worked with Nate for about 7 years now, and he's been amazing. First, he is a teacher and researcher at heart. Combine that with an injury adverse approach to training -- and you have an excellent trainer. I would recommend him to anyone of any age from 12-100.

I decided to find a personal trainer after years of exercising on my own. I have known that I needed to lift weights for bone health and to maintain muscle as I age, but struggled with repeatedly injuring my back when working out at group fitness sites and on my own. Last summer I explored three personal trainers in Austin, Texas. I chose Stowe Personal Training because it was clear that Nate would truly personalize my plan. Within a week it was clear that in 40 years of exercising, I didn’t really know how to strengthen and stabilize my core. I’m about 9 months in, and not only am I much stronger, but I also have much more confidence working with barbells and other feee weights when I need to workout on my own. 100% recommend checking out Stowe Training.

During COVID I started going to Stowe Training Systems and absolutely love it. I do feel at least 10 years younger and stronger (which is my goal). Nate is a great trainer. He provides challenging exercises and makes sure I have the correct posture and don't end up pulling a muscle. He sends out daily motivational emails which are very appreciated. I enjoy my training sessions at Stowe and highly recommend Nate.

Best Personal Trainer in Austin!
I have been working wih Nate since Fall 2024 and have been extremely pleased with the experience. I came in with a shoulder injury and Nate was careful to design a program that would strengthen my shoulder without causing further injury, Anytime I have an issue or injury, he immediately has suggestions on how to rehab it and offers alternative exercises if the current protocol is problematic. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

I was recently at Home Depot headed towards the potting soil and mulch when a kind young man yelled out, “Excuse me, ma'am! Do you need help?” I smiled at him and said, “You're very kind, but I've got this. I lift weights.” People don't expect a 70 year old woman to be able to do those kinds of things anymore. What they don't know is that I've been training with Nate Stowe since 2012. When I started I could barely kneel on all fours and suck in my stomach. I didn't think anyone at 24 Hour Fitness would even want to take me on as a client. But Nate stepped up, and I have followed Nate as he moved up the ladder at 24 Hour Fitness and a few years later when he established his own fitness company, Stowe Training Systems right here in Austin, Texas. I am now in better shape as a 70 year old than I was in my forties. It's never too late to start, but you need someone who is knowledgeable in prescriptive exercise techniques, and who is dedicated to continuing to learn as new techniques in fitness are discovered. Nate is that person. I hate to think what kind of decrepit state I'd be in now if I hadn't found Nate, LOL! Do yourself a favor and invest wisely in your future, no matter what age you are. Nate is your man, and you'll never regret this investment in yourself. In fact you'll be amazed at what changes you can make with the best personal trainer in Austin!

I’ve been working with Nate as my personal trainer in Austin for the past year and a half, and he has helped me completely eliminated my lower back pain following pregnancy. I can’t recommend him enough. From day one, Nate took the time to thoroughly assess my specific needs and limitations, and he built a thoughtful, customized plan that met me where I was—physically and mentally.
What sets Nate apart is how intentional and personalized his approach is. Every workout is carefully programmed, and he provides clear instructions along with demonstration videos so I feel confident and safe performing each movement. He strikes a perfect balance between challenging me and ensuring proper form, which has helped me build strength without aggravating old injuries.
Beyond his technical knowledge, Nate is a supportive, patient, and motivating coach. Thanks to his guidance, I feel stronger, more mobile, and more empowered in my body than I have in years. If you’re looking for a personal trainer who truly listens, tailors the experience to your goals, and genuinely cares—Nate is the one for you!

Recommended Personal Trainer for older adults in Austin, Texas & online as well!
Nate is a knowledgeable and attentive personal trainer. Nate trains on the philosophy of balance between mobility, flexibility & strength. As I approach 50, I realize how important this balance is. As someone who has always been hyper-mobile and naturally flexible, Nate helped me build strength to support my loosey-goosey joints thus eliminating pain.
I worked out with Nate for a decade+ and no matter my concern or question, he was always able to help. If he didn't know the exact approach right off (rare), he put in the work to figure it out.
Honestly though, the thing I am most grateful for is my confidence in weight lifting. I used to be so intimidated going to the weight section of the gym, but working with Nate taught me proper form (specific to my body's needs), and I have ZERO trepidation "taking up space" in the lifting area.
Nate is phenomenal. Whether you're new to weight lifting or an old pro, young and spry or getting along in years; if you need a trainer in ATX, Nate's your guy. I promise you'll learn something!

Stellar personal training in Austin Texas! I've been training with Nate for >4 years. I used to get injured monthly when attending ClassPass trials, Orange Theory or other group workout classes. I love to be active but needed more tailored workouts that wouldn't put my body at risk of injury, and Stowe Training offers just that. Stowe Training builds programs that are not only curated for each individual and YOUR goals, but are also challenging and fun. Nate, the owner, creates a positive, inclusive environment for all. Can't say enough good things!

I having had personal fitness training many times with many Trainers over the years. I have trained in Houston, Denver, San Francisco, I am 77 years old and you can trust me when I say Nate Stowe and Stowe Personal Training in Austin, TX is the BEST there is! Although I am in my late seventies, I feel better than I did in my 40's. Nate designs a personal program for each person. I am never bored, challenged the right amount and always have fun. I am strong and haven't been sick in years. I am in my 8th year of knowing Nate. He is a fair and honest coach. I am grateful to be a client of his.

Nathan is the best personal trainer that I have had. He came highly recommended when I lost my previous trainer. Nathan is extremely knowledgeable in personal training and weight loss. With Nathan’s direction, training and education I have gone on to lose 115 lbs, run two half marathons and am currently training for my first triathlon. His encouragement and ability to so me that I can do just about anything has built my confidence to take on the challenges and over come the fears.
Fast forward 10 years from the last review. I have moved 3000 miles away aged 10 years and have had some major medical issues, but with all that Nathan is still the best trainer I have ever had and really is knowledgeable about working with individuals that are over 50+ been through some injuries and gain some of the weight that he helped me lose 10 years earlier. I am back to the weight I was, almost just as strong but even better he helped me get my better half in the gym and not only our strength has increased, but our mobility has really increased. So if you are in Austin check him out. If you are not in Austin he works with me on line and it is great.

I have been active my entire adult life. At the age of 68, I completely ruptured my ACL. I went the non-surgical route, and rehabbed with Pilates. 2 years into doing exclusively Pilates, I made myself admit that I needed actual strength training through weight-lifting. I hated weight-lifting - everything about it. The activity, the music, the culture, etc. I did an online search and saw the google entry, "Weight Training for 55+. I had previously dabbled with weights with a trainer that I did not feel safe with - I knew that I was going to get hurt. At 71, I need to be careful with who I train with. I found Nate ("The Great"). I will just give you a summary of what to expect:
Free one hour assessment. It's not what you think. He is not trying to sell you during this hour - he will actually take you through a series of movements to assess your skills/abilities.
You choose 2-3 days to work out with Nate, from the hours of 7-11. These are scheduled in one hour blocks. Group class size is limited to 4. You will get his full attention.
He will take you through a very incremental, systematic method that he has developed after working and studying in this field for 20 years.
The work is challenging but doable. I have been with Nate for 6 months, and have never been hurt. He doesn't do dumb things.
You will learn that conditioning/recovery exercises are just as important as weight-training. Nate will explain as much to you as you need or want. He pretty much knows everything.
When I joined, I told Nate that I hated weight-lifting and would never love it. That has changed. I'm having so much fun. And, the music is great, and the people are the best -a very welcoming group.
Oh, and bonus - if you are a lady. Those bat-wings that you can't get rid of?! Please see pic of my arm below. Nate is "Nate the Great".

I have been training with Nate for a few months now, and I am so happy that I finally decided to pull the trigger and come and work with him! I received his emails for a couple of years, and learned a lot from them and also became aware that this guy knows what he is talking about with regards to exercise physiology, kinesiology, etc. But he doesn't use words like that--his communication is approachable and clear.
I love movement and have done a lot of forms of exercise in my life and am a body worker. I decided to start weight training (something I have never been particularly interested in) because it seemed like the most efficient way to preserve and gain healthy muscle mass and cardio fitness and keep my joints healthy as I move towards fifty. I was also keen to spice up my routines and try something new!
Nate's approach to fitness is mindful, steady, and focused on building proper foundation and form. He is encouraging and also straight-forward--great balance of celebrating and correction. He understands my goals and is helping me get there, and stay injury-free while doing it. The workouts are efficient and effective. He explains everything really well--from teaching different exercises, to why this is the plan, to his evidence-based reasons for the programs he creates. He's got many years of experience and study (and keeps learning!) and is also a very approachable person! His gym is a friendly, casual, and welcoming space and the people who come there have that vibe.
I have been having a blast and I already have more energy, sleep better, and am getting stronger in a variety of ways. This type of exercise has also become part of my stress-management--keeping my mind right. I am loving it--great fit for me!

Not sure how to say how much Nate helped me. I have been a collegiate athlete, professional athlete and am now 45 and pretty beat up. I lived the first 30 years of my life in a gym and needed to find a better way to exercise and move. All the years of heavy lifting took a toll of me and I don't have the same motivation that I had back then. Now I have a full time job, wife and two young kids. Nate not only broke down what I needed to do to be successful, but he put a plan in place to get me to my goal. He understands the 45+ body and mindset. I can't speak highly enough about my experience with Nate and Stowe Training.

Nate and his methodology towards training are simply transformative. At 67 and a novice at weight training, I was concerned that this would be another “throw money at a problem”. Before Stowe training I never exercised with men around. Mental block. But I joined as part of a couple and it has been one of the most fun things we have done together.
I credit Nate with establishing a supportive and positive place to work out. He is just the right combination of kind and motivational. As an older woman I am extremely self conscious of my body.
And Nate is so chill that I am relaxed and confident doing unfamiliar exercises.
Under his tutelage in the last 8 months, I have lost 10 pounds, 4 inches from my waist and most importantly, I feel great! My total cholesterol dropped 100 points.
Did I mention Nate the person? Well, I think he is wonderful in every way. Always positive. And during Covid, he kept us safe and healthy. Not easy but Nate figured it out. Thanks.

Unlike other gyms, Nate will create a workout program for your specific needs with attention to proper weightlifting, and care to not create any injuries. I am 66, and after 6 months I have lost 13 pounds, have lost almost 4 inches around my gut, have dramatically improved my posture, and have increased my shoulder range of motion (previously limited due to frozen shoulder on both sides). There are exercises that he does not have me do because of my age, medical history, etc. unlike other gyms where often one size fits all: I used to belong to Anytime Fitness where one of the trainers routinely had older clients suffering injuries due to exercises that they should not have been doing, especially not from a trainer. Nate has done the training and research, and his recommendations are based on physiology and science; he is always willing and able to explain why you a doing (or not doing) a specific exercise. Nate is a great motivator, and very easy going. Can't miss!

Unexpected benefits:
- [ ] greater knowledge of myself 🤔, more energy💪, no pain🤩, and I *love* workouts🥳
Recommendation:
- [ ] This guy is phenomenal 🙌!!! Call him up and schedule an assessment today 📞; you’ll be so grateful that you did! 👍
Now for the extended version... 😁
Hands down, this guy is THE BEST personal trainer I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with! His encyclopedic knowledge, combined with an engaging, easy to follow teaching style, and his own custom, fully-outfitted, conveniently located gym, make training sessions something I genuinely look forward to twice a week. And I am the type of person that use to avoid workouts at all costs.
I was fast approaching my heaviest weight ever. Now, I’ve struggled with my weight my entire life, so I knew what I had to do. But it just wasn’t working. I was in a deep downward spiral, and I couldn’t get out. I started to get depressed. Desperate, I took the advice of my boyfriend, who recommended his personal trainer, even though I’ve never liked personal training sessions, or pushy personal trainers.
Nathan “Nate” Stowe did my physical evaluation to determine what I could handle. Based on that, he designed a personalized workout just for me - taking into account my preferences, old injuries, life situation and current ability level. I’m not going to lie... the first workout, it took me an hour to make it through the warm up. Just. The. Warm up. I would have been embarrassed, but Nate was so calm and knowledgeable- explaining the process at every turn, honestly telling me how long it would realistically take to reach my goal, providing a nutritional program to complement the workouts... and by the next week, I was already doing better.
Now...
A month in, I’ve lost ten pounds, gained *so* much strength, and most importantly, regained the confidence that I will get back into shape in time for the end of Covid, so I can go dancing again. And, I look forward to my workouts, knowing that Nate will give me *exactly* what I need with his magical and mathematical ability to determine precisely what I can do every time - without pain, without injury, and without wanting to give up! His approach to exercise - keeping the body safe and functional for a long, happy and mobile life - is fully backed by science, knowledge, and years of experience. His gym is socially distanced, safe, and non-threatening. The people who go there have a real sense of family in a way I’ve never felt at a big box gym.
In my experience...
Nate under-promises and over-delivers on results. He offers a wide range of services, including remote workouts, as well as nutrition plans. Most importantly, he follows up with me at exactly the level I need - always laid-back, never pushy, never bossy. He texts to see how I’m doing with exactly the right frequency. Often with personal trainers, I constantly feel their urgency to book the appointment because they need to keep their business going. I never fault them - it’s a tough business to make money in - but the guilt was always in my mind, pushing me to book an appointment I couldn’t afford... or just quit. With Nate, I’ve never once felt that he is in this just for the money. He really cares about his clients. When I told him I needed to take some time to get my finances back in order, he sent me all the information I would need to continue working out on my own - no pressure at all. You better believe that I’ll be going back, too, since I have 50 lbs to go!

Working with Nate three days a week for the past three months has been a game changer. My strength, form, and confidence are at an all time high.
His customized programs are ideal and allow me to attain my own personal fitness goals. Whatever I want to improve (abs, arms, legs), he will design a program that will target those areas.
The intimate experience of being in a studio with one or two other people is awesome and the sense of a small family is very strong at the studio.

At the beginning of 2020, I set a goal to loose 35 pounds. I lost 25 pounds by mid-July yet I could not shed the remaining ten pounds over the next 2 1/2 months.
Nate told me he was offering a customized program that would help me loose 10+ pounds in nine weeks. I’ve had great results working with him on-and-off over the past 5+ years and I trust him immensely, so I jumped at the opportunity.
My progress has been amazing. I lost five pounds the first two weeks by following Nate’s customized program. I am already experiencing lots of changes:
- Decreased appetite
- Elimination of food cravings
- Improved digestion
- Sleeping through the night, and
- Toning my body
I have seven weeks remaining in the program and I’m excited about what the end results might be.
Nate has been super supportive, available, and motivating, as usual. I obviously couldn’t have completed my weight/health goals without him.
Thanks Nate!

I lost a total of 14 pounds, more than I had expected, yet I welcome it. I highly recommend Stowe Training Systems regardless of your fitness goals.

Nate is a great trainer and motivator. His training methods take into account the best plan for each person and maximize strength gains. After several years I've gone from being sore with poor knees after multiple ACL repairs to feeling strong and being far more flexible. I never thought I would be able to lift hundreds of pounds in my 40s, much less feel confident skiing again. I credit Nate and his studio with feeling the best I have in over 20 years.

I was seeing a chiropractor for issues with my hips, knees, and lower back. Once released from her care, she recommended Stowe Training Systems since I was in the market for a new trainer. I can’t believe it’s been only 1 week. This stuff is really working. I don’t think I’ve ever felt my body move in unison. I can feel my entire backside from my heels to my shoulders . I don’t know how I’ve managed to walk for the last 32 years. The best part about feeling stronger and moving better Is the inches I’ve lost with the recommended meal plan, and it shows! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Over the past 2 1/2 years I have gotten stronger and reduced my body fat % at the same time. I was able to do a before and after Dexa scan showing I lost 13lb of pure body fat; that's very difficult to do. I was able to do this because of Gabe's training and knowledge. Simply Awesome! I would recommend Gabe to anyone. He is incredibly knowledgeable, always checking to make sure your form is correct so you don't hurt yourself while maximizing workouts and the community is great. I look forward to my workouts which has led to great results because of Gabe's holistic approach.

Nathan and his team of fitness professionals understand that everybody has their own path to fitness and wellness. That is why this is the best place in Austin to have the guidance of this team to lead you to that goal.
There's not a fitness goal out there that isn't too big for them to help you with. From adding more strength, losing stubborn weight, running that first race, having an increased focus on personal nutrition, or, you name it, I would trust Nathan and his team for the help. Did I mention, they are exceptional at fixing joint and lower back pain? Yes, you can continue to exercise while healing your joints!! They'll show you how.
Reach out to Nathan to see why this place gets 5 stars consistently!!!

I was really out of shape when we started, and I was worried about hurting my back while training.
Jeremiah is very knowledgeable and a great listener. He tailored my workouts perfectly to suit my strengths and weaknesses. Now, many months into training, I never hurt my back anymore.
My goals when I initially started were to gain overall strength as well exercise and not die too soon.
-I have become MUCH stronger and much more balanced.
-I had never successfully done one chin-up in my ENTIRE life, and now I can do multiple chin-ups.
-I feel better about myself.
-I never hurt my back anymore while playing with my little kids.
Jeremiah has the perfect sensibility as a trainer; he keeps me motivated but isn’t too pushy. He is friendly and hilarious, but makes me work hard at the same time. The bottom line: I get results. Best trainer I’ve ever had, hands down. Everybody at Stowe is nice and on-point. What a great training experience!

Jeremiah keeps me from doing things that exacerbates SI joint problems. Incorporates lots of core strength workouts making sure I workout at least 2 days/week having me report my other workouts and keeps me accountable.
He keeps me positive and helps make me proud and confident in my physical abilities.
Before working with Jeremiah I was afraid my muscles would get bigger. That I’d look less feminine. That I’d be given the same exercises that everyone else did without regard to my injuries, weakness, strengths. I feel Jeremiah is the only person who can keep my body uninsured while improving my functional strength and physique. I trust him implicitly and seek his guidance in most activities I want to undertake.
My top goals when I started working with Jeremiah were to:
-widen my exercise options with SI Joint Instability
-help keep me exercising regularly.
I have achieved:
-transformation to a new athletic physique
-changed my focus on what I can do, not on what I cant i.e slowed left side of body
-I am strong
-I have learned enough to share with others, thus having others try my workouts
Jeremiah and I have become friends.

In the years running up to the beginning of my training with Jeremiah, I began slowly gaining weight each year… 5 lbs a year or so… while not drastic, it certainly adds up! Getting older, I found it more difficult to lose weight and keep it off. I wanted to get healthier, but found myself overwhelmed as far as fitness/diet options went. My response was to throw myself into something, anything… and then get burnt out. I quickly rebounded to not only gain back any weight lost, but then some.
When I met Jeremiah at another gym about a year ago, I admit I was skeptical. I had worked with trainers before, and it just never, well, worked out. Either it was not a good fit personality-wise, or they pushed me too hard, too fast, without the support to back it up. Jeremiah was thorough in assessing my fitness history, which I think really helped him understand me. When he asked what my goals were, I told him I wanted something SUSTAINABLE -- not a quick fix, not rapid weight loss, but something I could return to again and again, despite what life threw at me.
Don’t get me wrong, Jeremiah has certainly pushed me beyond any expectations I ever had. It was certainly rough there in the beginning, but it’s paid off in that I’ve gained confidence I never thought I would have in my ability to exercise efficiently, effectively and safely. I never in a million years thought I would be doing dead-lifts on a regular basis! Since I started working with Jeremiah, I have felt more able to explore other types of exercise as well that I never thought I could do, such as Pilates and Barre. I’ve found that variety has really helped maintain that sustainability. Of course, life has happened in this past year, and yet I’ve managed to keep coming back to fitness, thanks to Jeremiah’s support.
I’m glad I followed Jeremiah when he moved to the new gym because it’s smaller, allowing for more camaraderie among the others working out, as well as for less gym dudes loudly dropping excessive amount of weights on the floor. It’s been a year, and I’m still going strong. I’m down 20 lbs, but more importantly, I feel healthier and like I have a fitness routine that I can follow. I have gained muscle, strength, and the resolve to continue this journey!

I first met Nate when I started working at 24 Hour Fitness years before he opened his studio.
Nate soon transferred to another location to be their fitness manager. I hadn’t seen Nate for years. I ran into Nate at Freebirds and talked to him for a few minutes. He seemed to genuinely care about everything I was doing and how I was.
He actually recommended I look into some strength coaches for some of the topics we discussed. It really shows the kind of guy he is smart as hell, humble and genuine about wanting to help others. Another year probably went by and I had an over the handle bar downhill mountain biking accident that led to a back injury.
After recovering it was hard for me to find the motivation to workout consistently with everything that was going on at the time. It was like I lost my mojo. I called Nate up and we scheduled our assessment. I was weak by my standards and that was all to change very quickly.
Nate uses exercises that we all know work and have stood the test of time as well as the newest cutting edge information. Which is all grand and fine.
The difference between Nate and other trainers is he delivers the valuable pearls of information on how to actually execute them. The nuances of his training set him apart and his ability to progress below average clients to being strong and confident is something unique. It’s really cool and inspiring as a trainer stepping into a place where you have and older population of doing the things he has them doing. It’s been one year now and I went from unmotivated to never missing a workout. Not only did I get everything I was looking for which is consistency. I couldn’t thank Nate enough for transforming me not only mentally and physically but as a fitness professional too. So the nitty gritty body composition stuff is only a perk but I went from being 165lbs@16%BF to 163lbs@10%BF in the first four months to nearly a year later 180lbs@13%BF.

I remember when I first walked into Stowe Training Systems.
I wanted to improve my strength and stability – especially for my knees!
I wasn’t sure if foam rolling would really help with this or if I would even enjoy weight training. Well it did!
The team are very encouraging and keep working to get me stronger. So far I have been able to improve my pushups, learn how to deadlift, and most importantly gain better control of my body.
On top of the strength gains the team have an unbelievable camaraderie with one another which makes the workouts fun!

If I could give 6 stars, I would! If you have the desire to get in better shape, or you have a chronic physical ailment that keeps you from working out so you can get in shape, take Stowe Training Systems up on the offer for a free evaluation and session. I've had knee problems my whole life and even after 2 surgeries and years of physical therapy, I still had pain walking, hiking, sitting down, standing up. How could I stay healthy if I couldn't exercise?!? Stowe Training Systems FIXED MY KNEE pain and I'm the strongest and most in shape I've ever been in my life. And I'm 54 years old.
It wasn't that I was overweight - just body mechanics of a tall gal with slight knocked knees and chondromalaisia (cartiliedge shaving off behind the knee cap - cool, huh?) My knee cap wants to float on top of the ridge on my thigh bone, rather than in the groove:-(
Nate calls it prehab/rehab training and I'm telling you it works. I take my foam roller and band when I travel and when I do the 5-10 minute warm up he gave me, I stay pain free. I can walk, hike and don't tell Nate, but also dance now!
Plus, the trainers at Stowe Training are really cool, nice and make working out fun. Well, at least they make the time while we're working out fun!!

When I began training I was hoping to increase my core and leg strength as well as feel and look better. I was concerned about my right knee since it's bone on bone and wasn't sure I could get up and down. Also, I was concern about all the young people I would be working out with since I'm a frumpy middle aged woman, guess you can call it vanity. Since I began training with Nate I am so much stronger, I can move better and I feel great. I can go up stairs without pain and the muscles I lost are back. Nate's approach is excellent he listens to your concerns and he customizes a workout just for you. The gym is small, clean, and centrally located which I love. Nate is gifted at keeping you engaged and you feel great when you see how much better you feel and move. He watches you carefully to make sure you're doing each movement correctly. I really enjoy the other clients of all ages and it feels like family. Most important Nate always amazes me with his knowledge and I highly recommend him.

I have trained with Nathan for many years. His training process is different than any other trainer I have used. He listens to a new client and then he makes an individual training program geared toward the needs of the client. He is pleasant and funny, yet he expects results and knows how to get his clients to comply to achieve the results. I find his team of trainers and his clients make up a family oriented studio which is very warm and welcoming. Nathan's studio is just a fun place to go and Nathan trains his team of trainers to train just like Nathan does so everyone is getting the same benefits no matter which trainer one uses.

As a triathlete, I have one goal in mind. Get faster. I know how to do loads of endurance work, but that often only gets you so far, plus, you often get injured if you're not taking care of your body. I heard from a friend that you can prevent injuries and get loads faster by doing strength training.
Enter Nate Stowe.
I told Nate what I wanted to accomplish as a triathlete and he built a customized program according to my abilities and goals.
After only 3 months of training with Nate I was able to:
-increased my squat and deadlift max by about 75%
-improve from 20 mph on the bike to 26 mph
-Finished a half ironman
-Qualify for the USAT nationals Olympic distance triathlon race
Needless to say, if you want to accomplish your fitness goals, go visit Nate.
