Wonderful local studio. Fantastic variety of classes. They even offer a chair yoga class. It's so clean and inviting. They provide a real sense of community. I couldn't be happier with all that this studio offers. The 3 owners also teach at the studio and each have phenomenal skills and offer their own unique style to the classes. Oh yeah they also offer online classes !!

Great studio and instructors! Love that there are so many options for Hatha/Yin so you can really get in some of that deep stretching. As a new mom, the mommy/baby class on Saturday mornings with Shirley is a cherry on top :) Space is absolutely beautiful and calming.

I’ve been searching for yoga studios, but most places focus heavily on intense flow yoga. I’m so glad I discovered this studio — it’s truly a gem! They offer a variety of class levels and unique sessions that cater to different needs.
The atmosphere is serene and welcoming, with beautiful wall art, soothing music, and an authentic vibe to where yoga was first started. The instructor taught with heart and passion, making it feeling meaningful. It’s not just about exercise or stretching — they guide you through each asana with intention, clearly explaining when to inhale and exhale.
I’m grateful to have found this space!

Studio Satya is a super welcoming and accommodating space with a large variety of classes!!!
After attending a class with a friend, I went with a two week intro pass due to the drop-ins being a little out of my budget, and I attended 9(ish?) classes over the past two weeks.
Every teacher I’ve experienced in this studio has been a delight and I’ve never been made to feel like I should over exert my body, something I can really appreciate as I suffer from some shoulder mobility issues and just can’t hit some poses as a result.
All of the classes have been exactly as they were described, no crazy surprises;) And all of the teachers have done introductions and taken requests to focus on specific needs in addition to the regularly scheduled programming, which I’ve really appreciated.
I really can’t recommend Satya, and their amazing teachers, enough!!! I will definitely be back, and would recommend to anyone to give them a try!

Satya has created a lovely community with well informed practitioners and a great clientele. I immediately drop my day’s worries once I walk through the doors and get to recharge in whichever class I take.

I can’t say enough about Satya; visit and you will see all that they offer the community, which is what yoga is truly about. Can’t make a class? They record them and post them on their site! Theirs toddlers, teens, soon-to-be mamas- everybody’s (all ages) practicing here!

I had been practicing yoga from online sources for the last year and a half before deciding to find a studio in the area. Studio Satya came highly recommended by a couple of friends so I thought I'd give it a try. I am please to find out that it is such a warm and friendly place to practice all styles of yoga. My favorite class is the Sunday morning Hatha practice with Lisa. She is so great at making the practice available to everyone at all levels and allows for everyone to have input on the practice for that class (actually, they all do this, which is great). The booking and payment system on the website is really easy to use. The class descriptions are excellent.

This studio is incredible! It's teacher-owned and run, and the space and people are very welcoming. I've felt very supported in a range of types of classes, and they work to make their classes accessible through work-trade options and online classes as well as traditional in-person classes.

This place is awesome! I have been a yoga teacher for 20 years, and I find this the most authentic, down-to-earth, friendly, and warm yoga studio in town. I always feel nourished and grounded after I leave here. The space is clean, uplifting, and calming. Don't hesitate to go if you're new to yoga - the teachers are warm and welcoming and so are the other students.

Studio Satya is cozy and welcoming and the teachers are TOP NOTCH. Honestly appropriate for every level of student. If you have a practice or if you are just beginning, I highly recommend! I am a very picky person when it comes to having a yoga teacher. I need someone who is knowledgeable in anatomy, yogic philosophy, and centers the practice in a spiritual path. Studio Satya has my vote hands down. AND the rates for classes are on a sliding scale. Come practice!!

Studio Satya is my home for everything we call Yoga, though I live over 1,000 miles away in the Florida Keys. The studio leaders have invested in the equipment and technology to fully include members who practice virtually. The teachers are skilled, kind, and mindfully guide hybrid practices with folks on-site in their beautiful physical space, and others, present virtually from throughout the country and beyond.
A beautiful Community of Learners has been carefully cultivated. It is so nourishing that I travel to Austin at least twice a year to be physically present, in addition to the 10+ practices I attend per week, virtually, throughout the year.
The classes are wide ranging and delightful. There are practices for Every Body, skill set, and budget. I am 68 years old and love it. Hope to meet you on the mat soon at my Yoga Home.

Studio Satya is one of my favorite studios in Austin. It’s owned and run by three badass women, each yoga teachers themselves. The community is filled with loving, dedicated, and wonderful people, and the teachers are skilled, inclusive, and caring. The range of classes offered is incredible, and the studio itself is a beautiful, lush jungle of plants. I love Studio Satya!

All the teachers I've studied with have been excellent. Great options for in-person, livestream, or recorded classes, with individualized attention as well as a great feeling of community. Yoga teachers themselves run the studio, and there's no corporate vibe--just good yoga for real people. There are a lot of choices for yoga in Austin; I've been in town for 20 years and have been doing yoga for longer than that, and I'm very glad to have Studio Satya near enough to call it my studio.

I really appreciate how Studio Satya navigated and pivoted through the pandemic. They started offering online classes quickly and tailored classes to what we needed during this crazy time. The teachers (and teacher training) literally changed my life during the 2020 (into 2021) craziness. It has made me a better person.
I must say their zoom set up is very impressive. I’m so glad they are still offering everything online. But I also enjoy the studio - it is so cozy and welcoming. It feels like home again.

Love this yoga studio! It's a rare gem amoung others in Austin. The teachers are knowledgeble and kind. Emphasis is placed on creating an environment where all are welcome, not just skinny athleisure wearing sports models (no offense!). Traditional yoga practice is alive and well at Satya!

I can't get enough of this studio! This is the perfect place for someone interested in the roots of yoga and yoga philosophy. The classes are super intentional and the teachers are very knowledgeable. I've seen nearly every teacher there so far and they are all exceptional! The studio itself is beautiful and has a very intimate and cozy feeling. They offer so much, I especially recommend the Sunday morning free mediation with Divya!

I can’t say enough good things about this studio’s classes, teachers, and community. I’m just returning to in-person yoga and Studio Satya has reminded me how sweet it is to practice together. I’ve taken classes at studios all over town for about 12 years and Satya’s owners are three of my all-time favorite teachers. Their combined knowledge and experience is kinda mind-blowing, and the other teachers are amazing, too. You can expect to receive masterful instruction and deep body wisdom delivered with a welcoming, laid-back, super-accepting and accessible vibe in every class. It’s the perfect place for beginners, long-time devotees, or folks like me who want a strong vinyasa practice one day and deep yin or gentle hatha the next. Studio Satya is the most truly holistic and embracing yoga community I’ve experienced, and it’s such a privilege to practice here.

Studio Satya is amazing! I have searched Austin for yoga that is alignment oriented, philosophically grounded, playful, and rigourous without relying on endless vinyasas or artificial heat -- this is the only place that shines in all these areas! The space that Mary and her team have created is gorgeous and special. I have found my home studio! I can't wait until they offer a 500 hour training, they are that good.

I'm a long-time (10+ year) practitioner of yoga, and I've been to most of the yoga studios in Austin. I'm so glad studio Satya has opened up their new location! Some of my favorite teachers from the old Yoga Yoga and Eastside Yoga teach here. The studio is beautiful, the environment relaxing and the atmosphere is very welcoming yet also very "keep it real". Perfect as sometimes yoga slips too far into the woo for my taste. I love practicing in person, I feel they have struck the right balance with health and safety, and I can't wait to go back!
