I have been training with Jill Wilde for a couple months now, and I honestly couldn’t recommend a better personal trainer.
She is a gem of a person whose positivity inspires me to train harder. Throughout our workouts she pushes me but will adjust an exercise if something isn’t working.
As someone who works from home she will recommend exercises or stretches I can do to assist with posture, tense muscles, stiff knees, etc. throughout the day. Overall I feel the strongest that I have in years!

I've achieved great fitness results by working with my personal trainer, Ibrahim Ahmadu, over the past year and a half. As an aging adult male, it was important to me to find someone who had experience working with older clients and who wasn't afraid to hold me accountable and push my limits safely. Without him and the 3x per week hourly sessions, I would not have built up my muscle mass and overall strength and endurance. I went from 25% to 17% body fat, have more definition, and much more energy. Ibrahim is a great guy, knows his stuff, and has been willing and flexible to schedule sessions around my hectic business travel. He's helped me to plan sessions I can do by myself when I'm on the road and staying in hotels.

Jill Wilde is awesome! She’s such a genuinely kind human being, and I always get a sense of peace and zero judgment from her. I’m a pretty raw and blunt person, and she puts up with me—haha! What I really appreciate is that she listens. Not to the “this is hard” kind of complaints, but when I tell her certain exercises just aren’t for me. She takes that feedback seriously and always finds an effective alternative that fits my comfort zone and goals.
From the start, I told her I strictly wanted to focus on strength training—no treadmill warm-ups, no burpees, ropes, or box jumps—and she totally got it. She tailors every workout to what I need and want, and she’s also super flexible with my schedule.
I’m just so happy I found her. She makes training something I actually look forward to!

Been working out with Maddy for a little over a month now. It was my first time EVER in the gym. Naturally I was intmidated and nervous but thankfully my path crossed with Maddy. She has made my intro to the gym fun and comfortable. Her goal has been to make me not see the gym as daunting and I so appreciate it. If you are new to this setting like me and want to start doing something great for your health, Maddy is the perfect trainer for you. She cares about customizing workouts to my ability and working up on them in addition to providing insight/resources on nutrition and women's health. I have had the privilege of doing personal training with Jill for the last month and had a wonderful experience working with her to strengthen my body and get moving again after a long hiatus. Jill listened carefully to my goals and created whole body workouts that made use of every minute I was there. She was really great about making sure that I was challenged just enough each time, keeping it fun, engaging, and different as well. Jill worked with my packed schedule as a new small business owner and mom of littles, rolling with the punches of me needing to adjust my schedule often, and I really appreciated that flexibility most of all. I have been working with Josh for more than a year and a half now, and I am very impressed with how far I’ve come. I was exercising in group and at-home online classes for the majority of my adult life but found as I got into my 40s that I was actually losing strength and balance. Thus I decided to begin working with a trainer, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice of working with Josh.
Josh has the ability to look at a person and know what exercises they need to improve. My strength and abilities have grown exponentially, and I’m much happier with how I look in the mirror. Also, I’ve noticed some of my minor aches and pains are gone. Working with Josh has inspired me to learn more on my own about nutrition and exercise physiology over the last year. The benefits of having a good trainer can positively affect so many areas of your life.
I’m so grateful I found Fit Life and Josh. All the trainers there are great, and really know what they are doing. Also, those that go to the gym are very friendly. It’s a great group of people. So long as I live in Sugar Land, I’ll be a part of this personal training gym.

Train with Laureano! I’ve been training with L for about 6 years, postpartum with all my 3 kids as well as during pregnancies and now just normal life training, and he has adapted and pushed me and helped me get and stay in the best shape of my life, even through my diabetes diagnosis! He started training here at SL Fitness Life Studio recently and I have loved it here the past month ! It’s a very clean & welcoming environment with friendly, knowledgeable staff. I worked with Christine for two months and really enjoyed my time with her. She was always looking out for me and making sure I was sticking to the diet and exercise plan. When working out, she would take time to explain the machines and workouts to me so I did them properly. When I had questions she would answer them thoroughly to make sure I understood. It felt like I was with a friend I could trust and felt comfortable with. She made the session go by fast and encouraged me when I was struggling. In just two months, I could already feel a change in my body and could tell I was getting stronger. Really enjoyed my time with Christine and would love to work with her again in the future!

Robert Johnson is an amazing trainer. He truly cares about the individual and watching you progress. His method is to build you up at a pace that is best for your body. Unlike other trainers that may send you home sore and discouraged, Robert builds you and encourages you to do more. When I first started I could barely lift 5 pounds in 4 weeks working out with him twice a week I can life over 40 pounds and the first time in my life I leg pressed over 350 pounds. You will start to feel good and crave the weights. Best investment I had ever made for myself.

I train with Darren and it’s been a great experience for the last 2 months. Besides the trainer, my two favorite things about the gym are that all the trainers are friendly and welcoming but also, that there’s a great mix of clients. I’m an out of shape female and the people using the gym range from that to very fit but no one seems to care. Most of the clients there during the 4:30-6 pm on my days are a mix of every type of person and size but all are welcome. This isn’t a bro gym with the grunting and judgment.

Sugarland Fitness is a great place to workout to get results. I have been training with Cyril for over a month now, three times a week. I trained with him in the past at Ballys; he was good then and he’s even better now.
Don’t get me wrong, Cyril trains well and hard, while giving good compliments. One of his many strengths is the way he relates to his clients. I really appreciated how he’s made me stronger, how he compliments me, while I’m about to give up..,,and because of him, I’m stronger! I would recommend him to anyone who’s ready to get fit. Try him, he will not disappoint.
As for me, I will be with him a little while longer!

My husband and I always wanted to try strength training. After a lot of research on how and where to get trained, We found sugarland fitness studio. It had very good reviews and ratings. We are so glad that we checked this place out.
Our trainer is Aness. He discussed our goals and assessed our capabilities in the first two sessions. From then on, every session is different with new sets focusing on one or more of 4 pillars (endurance, strength, power and stability). There were days when I had negative energy before the session and came out feeling energetic & lighter.
Aness is a great trainer and knowledgeable on the fitness domain. He provides suggestions on meal planning and answers patiently all the questions that we ask. He is flexible on change of schedule and is very accommodating.

Sugar land Fitness Life Studio is definitely a first choice if you’re seeking a gym in the sugar land area. It contains a wide variety of equipment for a smaller gym and allows everyone to exploit their desired workout with ease. Anyone looking for a personal trainer can request one without any difficulties. I personally recommend Chad Mitchell if you are seeking a trainer. He’s persistent and will assign you a workout that’ll tackle the goal you are reaching. He will adjust any workout based on the difficulty and the clients body type. By the end of the session you will most definitely feel results. However, Chads charismatic and optimistic personality is what’ll definitely bring me back. My only gripe is the fact that I wish I had met him sooner.

I used to be intimidated by the gym and the idea of lifting weights but Diana made things so simple and was very patient. She helped me become a better version of myself. I highly recommend training with Aness, especially with his expertise. From strength training to meal planning, he is invested in your health. One key thing to call out is that I have had some posture issues and Flat feet issues, flaring up pain sometimes during cardio. He has helped me correct those postures with his corrective actions that alleviate my pain, helping me workout more. The surprising part was that I never really expected such pain relief. The customized exercises for me has been improving me constantly. Within the month I have lost 4.5 pounds in the right manner. Looking forward to the next session!

Aness Aldahan is very good at what he does, he devised a perfect workout regimen for me keeping in consideration I have knee issues due to hyper-extended knees. I have never been able to do squats properly without being in pain and no fitness trainer has ever addressed the root cause the way Aness did. He helped me with all the right exercises to relieve the knee and calf pain and do squats properly for the very first time in a long time. His corrective exercises and diet strategy are very useful, and I would definitely recommend him for not just good fitness regime, but also corrective physical therapy and nutrition related advice.

I can’t say enough great things about Aness at Sugar Land Fit Life. I trained with him for a little over a year, coming to him with a concern about my posture. Aness took the time each session to focus on how my body was moving to determine my specific issues. Overtime we developed movements that helped correct my posture. I still do those same moves, more than a year later, to maintain the work we accomplished! Throughout my year with Aness, I gained so much confidence in my fitness life and journey. Finished my month #1 with Darren and have lost 2.5 percent body fat percentage, a steady and stable progress. Darren keeps our early am session energetic and is fully invested in his clients. He has been active online for post workout questions and homework.
I love that we collect data with accurate body metrics measurements - measurement is what enables improvement and calibration of habits on consistent basis. Same for food tracking. Working with him twice a week ensures that I prioritize good eating habits.

Darren is a great trainer. He is personable and makes going to the gym a blast. He got me into boxing and it is the best workout I have done in a long time. Natalie is amazing! I have trained with her for a little over two months and her enthusiasm for fitness is contagious. She puts in the time and work to make sure you're reaching your goals -- With me, she calculated how many macros and calories I needed in a day and gave me examples of food in each group that I should be eating. She would check in with me outside of the gym to make sure I was staying on top of my diet. When I changed my diet, I noticed my waist shrink drastically! I am always feeling motivated after a session and it's changed my mood overall. The gym is also very clean and is always playing the best music. Back in Dec 2017, I realized that being in my 40's and having a demanding work schedule had made working out much harder. It didn't help that my energy and metabolism were waning fast! I had always worked out on my own so I thought I didn't NEED a trainer. Simply put...I was WRONG! I half-heartedly emailed Josh at SLFLS thinking he would balk at my request for 4am training sessions and I would be validated in my idea that I didn't need a trainer. Well, Josh emailed back immediately and told me he would be waiting for me at 4am THE NEXT DAY! All I can say is that with a shade over two years, I have never looked or felt better in my life! As a physician, there was a part of me that rationalized I would never look the way I did in my 20's. People who have known me my entire life say that I look to be in BETTER shape than back then! Josh has been patient and encouraging (especially at the beginning) when I need him to help me rehab back into decent shape. He has also been motivating and innovative once I started hitting the same plateaus I would always hit in the gym when I worked out previously. While I thought I knew everything about training, he finds stuff to make me do that I had never tried or seen. The results have been phenomenal! And the icing on the cake is that, despite training at 4AM!?! it has actually been a TON of fun! If you want to look and feel your best, reclaim your health and vigor, then don't waste your time - call Josh and SLFLS and get some sessions in and see the results. You won't be disappointed!!!

I found my trainer Diana Pareja through Instagram (her username is @dulcediana) and she is a wonderful human and BY FAR my most favorite trainer I’ve ever worked with. I came 3 years ago because I had a severe hip pain. They said it would take 3-4 months to take care of it. I was working with Corey. He did take care of it in 3 1/2 months. I thought I should stay!
I decided to stay, now 3 years total. Josh, the owner, is an excellent trainer who has helped me tremendously. I had colon surgery in Jan. last year, and Josh helped me get ready for it. Dr. Mahmood said I was doing really well & released me on Friday after the surgery on Tues. p.m.

While all the trainers I’ve worked out with at this facility have been great, I highly recommend Darren for always creating the right routine for my needs. He pushes me hard every session and makes sure it’s done with the right form to prevent injury. After years of inactivity on the fitness front, I decided to start with Daved at Sugar Land Fit Life studio. I haven't looked back since . I knew I couldn't handle a big gym without a personal trainer; I've been there and done that. But I never could be consistent. Daved has tons of experience and pushes me exactly the right way, not too much so I get discouraged, but enough so I feel sore for two days. Must be doing something right... I also love the 10 full minutes of intense stretching he gives me at the end of the session thanks to all his experience and certifications. I have been going to Sugar Land Fit Life Studio for a while now. While I quickly write reviews when I am unhappy with a business, I rarely write ones when all is well. SFL is GREAT. First gym I have really liked, for someone who isn't a fan of exercise, but needed to get in shape, it is the only fitness training I have been able to stick with for an extended period of time. Sometimes I even like it. My trainer, Corey, pushes me but respects my limitations, and is very good about scheduling me at the drop of a hat and is flexible when necessary. He is educated and experienced and does a great job. The facility is clean, with lots of equipment to vary the workouts. In my view, this is a great place!!

On top of all this they will build a fitness routine to fit your needs not just a cookie cutter workout. One really cool thing i love about this gym is they have punching bags and a boxing coach that will help you relieve stress. Had a bad day at work? Go to town on the punching bag. I lost 19 Lbs my first month! The trainers are great and always keeping me motivated and on the right path! I couldn't have done this with out them. Great place to work out at!!:)
