Loved the vibe and the space, but I singed up for β€œnervous system reset: Yin & restore” Yoga class on classpass….the class was, in actuality, a literal dance party with jumping and loud music.

I purposely sought out this Yin class to address painful back issues, so a dance party with jumping was the complete opposite of what I paid for and exacerbated my back
Pain.

An excellent yoga studio for cyclists! The yoga is challenging and complements by cycling workouts really well. AND They offer free mat rental for anyone who bikes in. No more biking with an unruly mat strapped to your backpack. Highly recommended!

I took a class with Lauren and it was so awesome! She was super clear and helpful and despite doing yoga for 4 years, this was the first time I feel like I've ever been in the proper postures. She helped to engage and stretch muscles that I didn't know I had. I will definitely be coming back and the studio itself is really cute and comfortable.

Beautiful sunlit studio on the Eastside with all of the heart and soul of her big sister on S Lamar. I love going on Sunday mornings to Mark's 90 min flow-it's always a great way to start my week! It's right across the street from some vintage shops and great places for brunch on E 11th, and there's always lots of parking.
I just completed the teacher training program in August and was blown away! It was a hugely empowering experience, and the curriculum is so dense with valuable knowledge. A great balance of spirit and structure.

Sukha is my favorite yoga studio I've ever visited. All of the teachers of classes that I've attended are helpful, knowledgeable, encouraging, and kind. Give it a try if you're into joining a little yoga family.

I've always dabbled in yoga at different studios, but Sukha Yoga Eastside has inspired me in a new way, to the point where I am going to class almost everyday! The instructors are all so down-to-earth, inspiring, and knowledgable. My personal favorite is Julia and her GLOW classes. I also love their use of the harmonium at the beginning and conclusion of every class- so meditative and relaxing. There are a variety of different classes to suit your style-- from faster-paced flow to pose-oriented yin. The price point is a little higher than some other studios around, but the experience is worth it!

Need to relieve some stress in a low pressure, relaxing environment? Go here! I've been here a few times, and I left feeling more relaxed each time. Steven, the owner, is very cool and helps you feel life you're among friends. The class schedule is flexible and there's always a class when you need it. Worried about finding parking? Don't be because there's a dedicated parking lot behind the studio with plenty of spaces.

I've always had great experiences at East Side Yoga. They have a good variety of classes- from the challenging Hatha flow to the easygoing restorative class. Their teachers are the best that I've taken classes with. They give you a lot of instruction and really observe what you're doing to help you get the poses right. I've always enjoyed their classes very much, no matter what kind of class I'm in the mood for. Highly recommended!

The studio itself leaves something to be desired (smaller space, old fixtures), but the staff and the class itself made up for what was lacking in atmosphere.

Eastside yoga is great. I usually take classes on Sundays (by donation) and the lengthen and strengthen class is amazing. It is in the afternoon and it is a great work out. I usually leave tired, sweaty and totally relaxed.

From the first step into the grounds I could tell it would be easy to get along with the people here. The yoga done here is great for people wanting to get their feet wet. Although they can accomodate skills of all level I would definitely recommend beginners to come here.
