I was initially very skeptical about taking my 3-year-old daughter to Taekwondo, especially since she hasn't been in daycare and has never been in a structured group setting before. But I was so impressed with how Coach Sterling and her team handled everything. They were patient, encouraging, and knew exactly how to work with little kids.
To my surprise, my daughter started participating on her own right away—and within just two days, she was already following instructions, trying out the moves, and even showing more confidence. It's amazing how quickly a 3-year-old can learn when given the right guidance. This experience totally changed my mind and showed me how valuable martial arts can be at such a young age.

My 9 yr old son has been practicing Jiu Jitsu here since June 2024. He loves it and it has been an incredible experience for him. Instructor Roman and Instructor Popp are fantastic with the kids - they push them to do their best and practice discipline & respect, and they do so with compassion. Master Sterling is a gem! Working here is not only wonderful, but as a parent, I have the up most respect for all of the instructors and coaches! Sterling and her dad have really built a fantastic program for all ages. Austin, Gabe, Adan, Lori, and Alyssa have really pushed the kids to challenge themselves in Taekwondo! Mr. Popp, Roman, and Ramiro have created a very attentive program that is really great for my son who has ADHD. Jay and Joe keep the gym approachable and everyone accountable for their goals. Not to mention Paige has started Yoga here which I am really excited to try!! And looking at the social media side Juan really tries to catch eyes! If you want updates the team is always getting reels and posting stories about what they are doing in class, makes me feel grat as a parent to have such a great team surrounding my kids!

SVega is a family training center offering Olympic style tae kwon do, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and weight training along with fitness groups, there’s something for everyone. All of the coaches and trainers are knowledgeable and encouraging to help everyone attain their goals. I initially enrolled my daughters in TKD in September 2020, their 630 to 730 kids class time along with affordable pricing worked well for my busy life. I did not realize I was joining a family. I enrolled in May 2021 to train alongside my daughters. I have trained in martial arts for decades and therefore able to recognize an effective and conducive training environment. My daughter and I now train in the Brazilian jiu-jitsu program, which again is very affordable with the absolute best training schedule for working parents. I highly recommend and encourage everyone to come out and see for yourself what this Family training center has to offer.

I train BJJ at SVega, and I love being a part of this school. When you train here, it's like being a part of a family. Coach Roman from B-Team is an extremely knowledgeable coach who is experienced and successful at the highest level of the sport. All of the coaches and staff really care about the success of their students, and regardless of what your goal is they will help you achieve it. Whether you do Taekwondo, BJJ, or use the gym this is best training center around — I could not recommend this place enough!

This gym is truly one of a kind. At SVEGA, your child can learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Taekwondo.

But, it gets better. This gym offers a group workout class with a fitness instructor, as your child trains. So, if you're someone who doesn't like to work out or doesn't know how, you can learn, or do it with other parents just like you.

SVEGA is really the best decision that I made for me and my child. We haven't been this committed to anything else. Also, the instructors are amazing. Mr. Vega (the owner), there's not enough words to describe his energy, spirit, commitment and passion. I don't know how he does it. But, he does.

Love this jujitsu class. Our son really enjoyed going here. The coaches, coach Roman and Coach pops are awesome and so positive with the kids. It's a very family/oriented place that welcomes all different cultures and backgrounds and it really helps with building up character. This has by far been the best decision we’ve made for our daughter’s extracurricular, mental and physical health. I have seen great growth in her confidence to do “hard things”. Having a shy daughter can make it difficult to cultivate confidence and grit.. Having her in Taekwondo has elevated her and I can only see her getting stronger from here.

Master Sterling, Master Vega and Couch Gabe are phenomenal leaders. The balance of fun, structure, sturdy leadership, and safe/trusted guidance is like anything I’ve observed from instructors that often navigate a group of young adults and kids.. it’s quite the undertaking, in my opinion..but they do it and unbelievably well. My daughter is giddy excited for TKD every Monday and Wednesday. I’ve had her in gymnastics and swim and nothing has sparked joy like this amazing studio and all that it has to offer.

While she does class, I have the ability to prioritize my health by taking classes at the adjacent gym, SVega Training Center. It’s safe to say, we’ve built a family here and it’s been a great addition to our lives!

This is more than just a TaeKwonDo school. It feels more like a home. The students are very welcoming, and help eachother grow and improve. I personally to not participate in these classes, but I do watch them. It's amazing to see them all working together to get ready for a competition, or joking around with eachother between drills. The parents of the students are also welcoming and nice. I would recommend this school to anyone. As they have all levels starting from toddlers to advanced classes. Master Sterling(owner) and her dad Master Vega are great instructors. Stern teachings and compassion and care for all the students.
They offer two day trial for anyone wanting to try, and sign you up once you've decided.

Our 2 kids started Taekwondo 2 years ago, we were not sure if they would like it, but Master Sterling is so nice and friendly that they loved going there. We could see the change in our kids after they started training. Master Sterling and Master Lui Vega work extremely hard to make sure that each child gets the attention needed to learn and grow.

This is a family run business and from the time that we walked in, they made us feel like family. Unfortunately we left Texas to go back to California, we had sad moments saying bye to Master Sterling and Master Vega, as well as other parents that we had gotten to know during the past 2 years. Master sterling went above and beyond to find another Training center in California to make sure our kids are well coached and are in good hands

We will miss seeing Master Sterling and Master Lui everyday, as well as the friends we made there, but we look forward to see them every year at the national competitions.
