My friends and I went to the Valentines Sweetheart sword fight and had a blast. We enjoyed ourselves so much, We decided to have my kids birthday party here. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! They gave us a great show and followed it up with a DND session. Great rates, large space and good people run the business.

The owner (Skye) is brilliant. Her woman owned sword business is what drew me here to start. What's made me stay is her devotion to her clients. I've been working with Skye for a year, and she's been a huge help for me as I've gained confidence in each work out. Skye is amazing! She is knowledge, flexible, and receptive to feedback! She is always checking in on any desire on my part for changes to my fitness goals and offers guidance for outside the gym as well to meet those goals. I cannot recommend her enough!

Skye is an excellent, well-rounded trainer and instructor. I've attended some of her Saturday "Fighter Fitness" group workout sessions, which are holistic and focus on improving functional movement instead of just burnout cardio (though my cardio was definitely put through its paces). She also made sure that everyone could perform the workout, offering substitutes if someone didn't feel comfortable with a movement or if they required lower-impact exercises. She would also offer more intense versions of a movement if she thought I was having too easy of a time lol. A couple of those classes ended up being 1-on-1 sessions, and she trained me up on how to properly do cleans and snatches after I said in passing that I struggled with those lifts.
I haven't requested her nutrition coaching, but she made a series of posts where she closely monitored her weight & caloric intake, including discussion of foods she used to meet her calorie goals. I'd imagine she would put the same amount of thought and accountability with her clients who use her nutrition coaching services. I highly recommend considering Skye if you're looking for a good personal trainer in the Midland area.

Definitely a good choice for training. Not only was she able to customize the program to fit my time frame (which was shorter than most) she was also able to set me up for success with the nutritional education I needed going forward. I'm now able to create an endless amount of workouts and keep my nutrition on track to achieve and sustain my health goals.

Skye has worked with me for a year now preparing me for Navy boot camp. I cannot think of a single thing she could improve. There are many perks to training with her besides a set number of monthly sessions: She is very knowledgeable about muscles and nutrition and shares her knowledge freely; sometimes she offers bonus group classes (when it's safe from the Rona); and she is the most flexible scheduler I've ever worked with, she always meets my time needs. Workouts are never routine and each one is tailored to my needs and goals. Even through a few injuries (none happened at workout) we got training in while being mindful of healing. My favorite part is her confidence in me. I have come a long way since January and she made the journey fun and smooth. I've lost 40 lb while working with her and I am stronger than ever before! I'm ready for the Navy's PRT and that is no small thing! 10 Stars for The Nerd Trainer! ββββββββββ

Skye is great!!! If you want a trainer that is knowledge able about nutrition and always changes up your routine you have found one! My goals have been met. And now I am reaching for another stepping stone to my health and fitness with Skye. I went thru the out of shape soreness. The kind where it hurts to get in your truck or walk down a curb. After that period of getting my body in check one of my favorite things is knowing I worked out the day before. I am not sore like the first two weeks we started. But I can feel my muscles developing the day after which gives me satisfaction that I didnβt waste my time. If you are ready to start a healthier lifestyle Skye can definitely get you there. And she is so flexible with her schedule which is key for my hectic lifestyle.
