My daughter was interested in gymnastics about a year ago. We put her into tumbling and she decided she wanted to do cheer competitively. She also does her after school care here as well. She has grown so much in the last year in her skills at TAC. She is set up for success and is excited for her first year of competition!

My daughter started their tumble class last year without even knowing how to do a summersault. The girls are so helpful in working with her and helping her be confident enough to try new things. She can now confidently do cartwheels and handstands and loves to show her new found abilities.

We just want to thank the owners of Texas Allstar Cheer and Dance for the fantastic service they have been providing the community for years! Both of my daughters absolutely LOVE being at this gym. From the coaches to the front office staff to Mark and Tore the owners, these are high-quality people who care about seeing your child grow and thrive.
Everyone in the community loves this place. We are VERY lucky to have such a fantastic facility, owners, and coaches to teach our young cheerleaders. This place is awesome because the people here are awesome. Thank you all for all you do! #RockStars!

My daughter was humiliated on her second week of cheer. Owner was not willing to discuss the issue. The person he had handle the situation was overly emotional and not professional. Please beware of their teaching / punishing in the classes.

Parents please please read this⦠if you are new to cheer. This is not a kind facility, the coaches are immature and they lead with punishment. The owner and staff will not respond to your concerns and become EXTREMELY defensive if you do not agree with what they determine the issue to be.
I have a daughter with disabilities and she was humiliated in front of her peers for not doing a move the correct way. I tried to address this with the owner and sent an email on 5/20.
The owner responded one time 5/21 saying he would investigate and get back to me on 5/23. As of today he has not responded. I called in today and I was in shock at how unprofessionally two staff members handled my follow up.
I was hung up on (twice actually) for asking questions. One was why has no one responded or called me back in almost 2 weeks, the communications coordinator and I quote βwell this isnβt her full time job.β I responded with and how is that my problem? She immediately was defensive over talking me, arguing, I was met with excuses and the other staff member literally crying when I was questioning this situation. Then, hung up on and told, they are canceling my contract.
It seems they are not interested in solving problems yet more concerned with being right. I wish the owner could have taken 15 minutes to call us in a timely matter and nip this in the butt but apparently it was not something he planned on addressing. Very unfortunate our daughter was really excited to do cheer :(
Do yourself a favor find another place that actually cares about your business and your child.
We will be going back to gymnastics. Hope this helps someone else feel heard if they went through this or at least sheds light on what to expect if you enroll your child . We have to be our childrenβs advocates and believe when they say an adult has wronged them.
Signed,
A very disappointed mother.

My child attends the tumbling lvl1 and summer camp as well. No complaints! She comes home tired and happy! With the summer camp the kids stay pretty active and she seems to be improving with her normal tumbling routine so we are happy campers

My daughter, 7, has been coming here since February and we love it. The classes are small and the girls have plenty of room. Savannah has been an amazing coach; she really takes her time with the girls and works with them one-on-one to fine tune their abilities. I personally love that the little girls can watch the older girls and I know my daughter is always watching them b/c she will come home and start making up her own cheers. Seeing the big girls gives her something to aspire to, if she decides to continue on. This is the same with her gymnastics class too...being able to see what her hard work can lead to is important in the development process.

My daughter took lessons here a few years ago when she was only 4. The classes were great and she was learning new things constantly. The young coaches were amazing and always so helpful and truly loved teaching the little ones. Now, the problem was the watching room it was a distaster. The competition teams would also be waiting/stretching/running around which you would think since they are young children wouldn't be a problem but it was always a madhouse. One day there were a group of young girls maybe third grade using profanity running in and out of the door as I was taking my 6 year old son with special needs inside, one little girl turned and looked at my son and said "move retard" and lightly pushed him. Now, the push was light and she was just getting around him but she literally acted as if he had some awful disease she could catch. It took all I had not to come unglued on the poor child... my eyes filled with tears and I looked at her I told her that wasn't a very nice thing to say. I made a mental note of their description and the class they were in and that night I emailed the owner of what took place. I never heard back from the owner and things never change in the waiting area. Being on a competition squad should be taught it's a privilege and not a right. There are so many little girls who would love to be in their spots. I couldn't just keep sending our money to a place that allowed their girls to run around and treat adult and others the way these girls did. I know it all starts at home but coaches can set expectations at the gym. I am more disappointed in never hearing back from the owner/coaches but oh well you live, learn and let go! I really wanted to love them bc I heard great things about them but I can't send my money to a place that doesn't teach their kids to respect ALL people!
