For beginners this is not a right place, in my honest opinion.
And I am not the only one several other people have raised this, and when I did in every sentence I tried to tell them that I am giving a feedback, just want to know how best this can be solved. They dont work with kids who join and just let them do as they like, weather right or wrong. It doesn’t seem like the teachers care for techniques or even watch the kids doing the correct move. When I raised this instead of checking and trying to see how they can help solve, they asked me to have a call, and on call when I calmly explained the situation, they basically have mailed that its ok we are best/perfect, we reviewed and that this is not probably suitable, per your needs, so best is we discontinue, so they dont care about the kids at all.
Any other place, would have tried to talk to the student, and understand why they feel this way, but they didn't bother, instead suggested discontinuation.

We love Texas best! The teachers are caring, engaged and best of all keep the students active and working the entire time. This is a wonderful place to grow your gymnastics skills. My only complaint is something the floor is a bit dirty. Over all this is a top notch gymnastics studio.

My gymnast went there for 2 months came highly rated. My 1st day didn't know what was going on so unorganized. They thought my child was in the toddler class bc of her size/AGE had to tell them the class she was in. Never met the coaches too many coaches never had same one. It was going ok once they actually go do their gymnastics so I put her in tumbling. They split you up in groups and her 2nd day tumbling she was with toddlers and the ones who didn't know how to flip at all. I'm not paying to have her start over but to get better and the tumbling coaches the 2nd time were not even watching the kids. Or making sure they were doing it right. Also I noticed when there was a certain coach they were not taught on technique and just were told to do something and no one knows how to do it right so all the kids all jumping around doing whatever idk if she was in the wrong class. But if you all could get organized and have 1 particular coach work on one group it would be much better. I decided to stick with old gum...now since I did keep her in both she was getting extra practice and has now moved up to usag preteam and will hopefully get to compete. I need structure this facility lacks it and was not looking for recreational

My 3 years old went there for a month. There are so many kiddos per class. like 10 or more, where other places are 6-1 ratio. your kid will most likely spend most of the time in line waiting for her turn. Unorganized, and it doesn’t seem like the teachers care for techniques or even watch the kids doing the correct move. It might be a good place for older kids but definitely not for 3 -10 years ones. Now I’m looking for other options and had already canceled her subscription.

WE LOVE TEXAS BEST! We love Coach Jen and all the Texas Best staff! Coach Jen is always so patient and has the best attitude! She wants each student to be safe and learn necessary skills but most importantly HAVE FUN! And from the looks of it... so do all the other coaches! She is only 3, but everyone - even the “big girls” - make her feel so special! I love watching how supportive the staff and even teammates are of each other! Love seeing them work hard and cheering each other on! Tricia and Becky are always so helpful and nice, too! The facility is so spacious and all around windows so you can see the entire gym. I love that my little girl can go to gymnastics and I have a place to work too! We are in it for the long haul with Texas Best! I wouldn’t trust any other gym with my daughter!

My daughter attended TBG 11 years. From the age of 3 till 14 she spent an average of 4 days a week in this gym. I can truly say it was a treasured part of her childhood. It is a wonderful place where your child can not only learn from the best gymnastic coaches in the area but also be loved, nurtured, mentored and encouraged. I can not say enough good things about Tricia and her staff. Over the years we have grown to consider them family and the trust and faith they have displayed is far beyond we ever imagined we would encounter. Whether your child is the next Olympian, Collegiate Star or just a gymnast who wants to flip and fly there is a special place for each one. I truly feel that the prices were fair and that they always had the families needs front and center in every aspect of their business model. We hated to close this chapter in our lives because the many hours, days, weeks and months we lived at this gym have left wonderful and happy memories in our heart and we loved every part of the journey here. You will always be heard should concerns arise, you will always be valued at this gym and your child will always be held in the highest esteem at wherever their skill levels are. They treat you like family here and your child will have the best coaches to help them achieve whatever their dreams are. Love TBG! Best Gym in the Metroplex.

I work in an industry where all too often the only reviews are negative, so I felt it necessary to come drop a positive review. I am glad to see I am not the only one whose been blown away by my experience. My daughter is wrapping up spending her time there at the summer camp. It's a such a relief to know your kiddo is in such good hands in the time off from school. They plan activities to keep the kids active, and... they have fun!! It's always a good sign when you can send your kid to bed at night knowing they're worn out but happy! Thanks Texas Best!

My daughter was in Texas Best Gymnastics for 6 months. And this coaches did not care about the kids. They will tell the kids to do something but not say how to do it and they wont look at the kids to see who is doing right and who is doing wrong. My daughter is happy she’s not going there anymore.

For professional workers I choose for my kids to go to Asi gymnastics. We came here before switching to Asi where the classes are 6 to 1 teacher at Asi. Here I felt like there were so many kiddos and I couldn’t watch the class very well the seats to wait are always taken

My daughter was a gymnast from very early in her life. She started out in another state. We moved to Texas and spent time at a number of gyms and after several years came to Texas Best. At the time, TBG was very small, operating out of a strip mall space. As my son had also been a gymnast, we were well versed in the operations of gyms from cost to practice schedules to coaching styles, etc... Upon meeting Tricia, I knew we had found a very different concept in gymnastics. It was immediately evident that she truly loved the sport, the gymnasts and most importantly was concerned for their growth and development as individuals.
The atmosphere was very different than anything we had experienced. Her gentle but, firm manor clearly resonated with not only the gymnasts but, the families as well. It was relaxed and truly a team environment. She was fair, even and did not play favorites. The girls were relaxed and wanted to work hard to please Tricia, not because they were afraid of her. It was because they respected and loved her. And they knew she loved them.
Unlike so many coaches who road their success on the backs of the gymnasts until they burned them out, Tricia was as concerned with allowing them to be little girls first, then successful gymnasts. She created an efficient coaching environment with focus in all the right places.
Our years at TBG were some of the best my daughter had in youth sports/activities and I am so grateful for the time my daughter spent with her. I wish all youth coaches were as concerned with mentoring healthy, happy athletes as Tricia has been. She is a blessing to any child she encounters.
