Update: soon after I wrote the 1 star review with my issues I got a response and a call (that I unfortunately missed) but that shows management cares and that really means alot. Thus increasing to a 3 star.

I’m really disappointed with my experience at Texas Gymnastics Coppell. My daughter was moved from Level 1 to Level 2 after only a few classes, which increased the monthly fee. Plus charges a $50 β€œannual registration” charge. I wish they had properly assessed her skills at the beginning instead of leveling her up so quickly.

The bigger issue came when they changed her class time for Level 2, and I rearranged my family’s schedule around it β€” only to get a call later saying they can’t accommodate that class for 2–3 weeks because there’s no instructor available. They told me to keep sending her to Level 1 in the meantime and refused to offer any make-up classes, citing a β€œno make-up” policy, even though this situation was entirely due to their mistake.

Sure here are some things that need some major improvements. Inexperienced coaches like teens or college kids who do not stay long enough or care enough. This gym is like a paid playground. few good instructors but the majority is there to kill time. The front desk lady never ever said hello to us. Kids go wild. Too many kids so you don't learn anything. We were asked to join the team but the coach never replied to my text. This place is all about squeezing as much as $ out of the parents. The air quality is hazardous. Often the AC is not strong enough and the fair filters are not working. Looks smokey inside.

Coaches are good, but still kids takes sometime to learn all these nuances. Just 4 months since the enrollment, started seeing some changes ❀️

Kids classes are at best PAID recess. There is absolutely no structure to the classes, no progress tracked nothing. Coaches keep changing almost every week. Also beware with the fraudulent billing.

I have a boy on team. I have found Tx dreams to be an amazing program. Professional coaches, safe, and a place for your child to flourish. I will say that expectations are strict (which we like). They meet all children where they are, help them from there. We came from another gym previously, and find that the if we were trying to give our child the best chance at advancing, it would be TX dreams.
Gymnastics is expensive but the parent club bends over backwards with fundraising activities and opportunities for the kids to have fun together. Many of these kids at the higher levels sacrifice much of their High School fun to dedicate themselves to this sport. I love to see the friendships built here because only other gymnast understand. We are proud to be part of TXDreams.

I have been going here for 5 years and have never once had a bad expirience. Sometimes coaches can be a bit hard on you, but that's how you get better! 10/10 would deffinitly reccomend!

I have never seen a disinterested and disoriented training institute like this one. The front desk and coaches do not work together at all. This is the only place where you cannot rely upon front desk to get to you private classes. One will have to catch and chase coaches ourselves, to know if their schedule has any openings. Also, some coaches do not take same interest in all the students. If you are serious abt your kid learning gymnastics, be away from Texas dreams because this is NOT the place for such dreams.

This is an amazing place. I’ve learned so much from here. I know a lot of the other reviews said it’s not good. However I’ve been here since I was three and it’s been a life changing experience. When you find a good coach and program there is nothing you’d rather be doing than be at Texas Dreams. I love this gym. I’m in EXEL and best program ever, I get nine hours each week. Then if you want a solid 12-20 hours go USAG. If you want to compete but not really go to hardcore then do TAAF. I can’t say anything about boys gymnastics though.

We were excited to let our daughter to enjoy and learn gymnastics, but we experienced week after week that the coaches here in general have no heart for kids.

Don’t see much structure and learning. Coaches seem to focus on their favorite kids. Front desk folks seem totally detached and don’t seem interested in answering any questions. I guess they think they are already getting lot of kids so don’t need to care.

Not a very good place to send your child if s/he is young or not an Olympian. The coaches for the level 1 class (5 and 6 yr olds) are not attentive. They do not try to show or teach the children skills. "Free time" is the entire class. We were there for 1 year and barely learned to do a cartwheel. They do not inspire the children to want to do better. You definitely have to go more than once a week. You have to beg for feedback. They have no system to let you know how your child is progressing. All this AND it smells like old stinky socks in the facility!

My both sons were attending here for a year until we delayed our payment 2 days (last payment day was not a class day at all) and they kicked us out from the group without calling. So they did not care about loyalty, any customer is replacable. It was quite emotional for my sons to go to class and being not admitted as they put other people immediately. Since then we are on hold list with no progress.

We did our research and talked to this place about the cost up front multiple times. We were given the wrong cost multiple rimes. Finally, when we drop the girls off for their first day they say we owe a balance of $54. I said that we were assured multiple times that the amount we were given included everything. My wife went and talked to the manager and the manager would not help. I called and talked to the manager and she made me ask the same question 3 times before I could get an answer. She refused to credit any of the 54 and hung up on me when I asked about why they are not doing gymnastics. She was very offended by any questions I asked and treated me like I was an idiot. The girls say for the first day all they did was play and do art. It was not supposed to be an art class.
