It was a great place to enjoy exercising until Planet Fitness bought them out now it's mostly teenagers and their antics and the music well don't know what to call it, just not the same for this 70 yr young, maybe one of the other 2 gym's in the area are better, guess I'll check them out

Since Planet Fitness took over in January, this gym has been struggling. Only about a quarter of the TVs work, the stereo system is playing 2 stations at the same time (seriously), the front signage doesn’t work, and the men’s locker room is consistently dirty. These issues have been reported 4 or 5 times over the last couple of months and the staff has said there’s nothing they can do.

Some of these five star reviews are fake or written by the staff or their friends. No one reviews a place with five stars just to say the front desk dude was nice.

I called at lunch because the clown show automated manager response told me to. The lady at the front desk took my phone number to “promptly call me back” after the manager looked into my account. they “promptly” never did. This place is run by clowns. I just wanted to cancel my personal training. Now I want it all gone

If you go here and sign up for training bring a lawyer with you if you ever want them to stop billing you for it. You can go and sit and sign document after document asking them to stop and then “their system will mess up” and they’ll forget everything you asked and you’ll get charged again.

I think I canceled my gym successfully but am continuing to be charged for PT. I sat at the desk and filled out the forms to cancel. I’ve called. I’ve emailed. They lied to me and kept it active. They’re dishonest at best and you should NEVER sign up for PT with them.

Can be improved: Slow with fixing broken equipment and very slow with replacing missing accessories, sometimes even after asking for many months.
Very bad: Not unique to this gym, but it still follows the sleazy industry standard of high annual fee instead of transparently including that charge as part of the advertised monthly charge. Also makes you jump through hoops to downgrade to a lower level plan

Location is fairly convenient as it’s close to home. Staff are excellent and friendly. Recommend to update equipment as it seems outdated and need more variety

Been a member for over 14 years and really enjoy the atmosphere. I come to work out quickly first thing in the morning and move on with my day. Kaitlyn is great at the front desk and keeps the gym organized. I appreciate her reliability in opening the gym on time each day. I live closer to the 380 location, but prefer to come to the Custer location on certain days because I know it will be open on time and there will be space to work out. Well done guys.

Have been coming here for a few years early before work. Each morning, though half asleep, I’m greeted personally with smiling faces. Catelynn at the front desk has even taken her time to show me a few suggested machines when I was having work related back pain. Facility is clean and prices are great. It’s a great way to start your work day off on the right foot!

I have been coming for more than 9 years. Small gym but has good equipment. Management has made effort to make it better. Kaitlyn is the best as she is consistent and opens up gym with great smile. Jerald is a great personal trainer and will push and challenge you. It would be nice if the facility could expand.

We’ve been at this gym location for 10 years and have enjoyed the consistent friendly staff (GM Greg, Cody, Caitlyn, Jerald, & Joe) and the upgrades to the facility! It’s not too small or too large. We have created a little community of “fitness regulars” 😊 that we smile and chat with while working out. I love that this gym also hires high school students for part-time work. I have been meaning to leave a review for a while so thanks new high school student (and Caitlyn) for reminding me for this review. It’s my pleasure!

Depending on where I am when I get a few minutes to work out, I go to several different TFF locations. This one is among my favorite for a few reasons. 1. The people. From Kaitlyn at the front, always greeting with a smile, to the trainers on the floor easy with a compliment or encouragement, even for non-clients. I always feel welcome and appreciated here.
2. Temp control. It never gets too hot.
3. Equipment is in great shape. We pay for a no-frills gym experience, but what makes the difference for me is that all equipment is well-maintained and clean. Keep up the good work!

This place is quiet and discreet for my quick workouts in the mornings from 5am thru 8am with my schedule. They have an excellent selection of free weights and machines. Caitlin who works the front desk is always courteous and friendly in the early hours. Been coming here almost 5 years. This is a perfect gym if you like to get your work out in and out with with no interruption.
