They changed to planet fitness overnight without notice and they are charging me.Have not been to gym after PF took over and their cancellation is a hassle, sometimes system is down or sometimes they can’t find me in the system, but yet they can still charge me.i have been there to cancel couple times and each time they had something going on. There is no cancellation online, we have to do it in person Such a pathetic service .

There’s always at least 4 machines broken, but they have new floors! Too crowded and busy, anytime of week at anytime of day. Amount of creepy old men who stare is scary. The set up of the whole gym is odd, why are both hip abduction machines facing the weight section? Please put them against a wall. Consult a female colleague when arranging equipment maybe? Least favorite TFF out of the whole chain. Water fountains don’t work. Always closed. Please just demolish the whole place.

This gym has been going downhill for months. Equipment is always broken and often takes months to be fixed. Both water fountains have been broken for weeks now and so the only available water is from the bathroom sinks.

Last week the gym was suddenly plastered with signs saying it is now owned by planet fitness and that all of our memberships are being transferred over. They also charged my yearly membership fee 6 months early associated with this ownership change. This transition has been a nightmare. The other TFF location nearby was closed during the sell out resulting in this gym being over saturated with people and long wait times for equipment. Just today I came to the gym to find that it was randomly closed with no notification via email, text, google hours update or even a sign saying why it was closed during normal business hours. Do yourself a favor and go to a different gym. I know I will be.

This location closed with ZERO (literally) notice to its customers. I found out when I pulled up and saw a cheap planet fitness sign in place of the TFF that was there the prior morning. What a complete slap in the face to your paying customers. I’m canceling with TFF for good. Planet fitness sucks and so does TFF.

I’ve tried so many gyms in the area and can say with certainty you will not find a better value for the money than at Texas Family Fitness. The price is VERY low, no contract, lots of equipment, and you won’t find people that make you feel uncomfortable (nobody hitting on you or disruptive, etc). The worst thing about this particular location there are a lot of teenagers and some folks who get on their phones and “camp” at the equipment. (It depends on who is working if you can report it and they actually say something to prompt people to hurry.) There also used to be a ton of broken equipment taking forever to fix, but since Blythe (new manager) started that has improved tremendously.

Clean gym and they do a better job of keeping up with broken equipment than some of the other gyms I’ve joined in the past. Does get pretty busy but that’s to be expected with the price point.

Started personal training with Wade at the end of August and in 3 months I’m down 35lbs and feel the strongest I’ve ever felt. With his focus being sustainability this is a training program I’ll actually be able to stick to.

I’ve been going to this gym for about 3 years now. 5-6 days a week. I’ve seen a lot of employees (including management) come and go. But just recently it looks like they have some new manager (blonde gal). I’ve seen her clean more of this gym in the past month than most of the employees from the past 3 years. I also saw her get into the cable machines and oil the bars that guide the weights. As a member that speaks volumes to me. There is still some dusting that needs to be done, but all and all I’m very happy with how things are running. The trainers seem to be invested in their clients and not just checking out other members.

UNTRUSTWORTHY! Auto payments have been drafted each month along with annual fees for mine and my daughter’s account. To my surprise I receive a collections notice for my daughter. When I contact the gym to ask why, they said they noticed an issue with payment method on only my daughters account from few months ago. MIND YOU… same payment method for both attached accounts and payments are still being processed per my bank statement. Manager says “Oh, uhh well we can’t really do anything since it’s been sent to an agency, but usually we call when there is an issue. I apologize that we didn’t contact you, but you’ll have to call the collections agency and work it out with them.” She talks with her GM who refuses to speak with me on the phone and apparently the GM told her to tell me the same thing.. it’s not their problem, it’s mine. So I told the Manager I wanted to cancel both memberships. She stated I have to go to myclubonline.com to do so, and the website doesn’t work. I have reached out several times to make sure these are cancelled with no response.

I signed up for gym after they promised I could cancel my membership anytime without hassle. To my shock, they charged me for two months upfront. When I tried to cancel, it took a full month of countless phone calls, emails, and even in-person visits to finally get any action. Despite this, they still charged me for another two months even after I canceled!

This gym is misleading and untrustworthy. They make it nearly impossible to cancel and continue to charge you without consent. Save yourself the headache and avoid them at all costs!

I’ve had a great experience with TFF little elm. My kids are always asking if Ms. Kat will be in kids club and are always excited to see her. Kat in the kids club does a great job making sure everyone plays safely and has fun. Having someone like Kat in the kids club makes it easy for me to come most days of the week and to recommend this gym to friends. The classes with Ashley and Janeece are the best and always push me. The people in the classes are welcoming to all levels of strength and it was easy to jump right in after having my last baby.

The gym is great, with the classic free weights and machines, but also has a turf and sled with I appreciate. My kids love the kids care so they can go play with Miss Kat, the lead during the week, which allows me to turn off because I know they’re in great hands. We went to the Gym Saturday though, and my youngest started crying because Miss Kat wasn’t there. You know someone is good when they’re missed that much for one day. :)
