Review for personal trainer Sergio in Arlington, Tx.

From day one, Sergio made me feel welcomed. He customized my workout sessions to first build my core strength while taking my lower spinal injury into consideration and he provided alternative exercises.

Sergio is a very knowledgeable trainer, and I would recommend him to others. He definitely helped me start my new health and fitness journey in my mid 40s.

With 24-hour access to the facility and childcare to boot, I don't have an excuse not to go to the gym. I hear a new location is opening soon, looking forward to it!

I joined Texas FITT and fell in love with gym. They offer many classes that are made for all ages and also have amazing trainers who take their time. My trainer Jenni is a heaven sent! I have a lot of medical conditions and she has come up with sessions that I am comfortable doing, but also keep them a little tough! Her attitude is always so welcoming, kind, and funny. We have been working out for a little over a few months and it’s going amazing!

I’ve been a member a long time. But this place has gone downhill. The men’s locker room is nasty and is never cleaned. You will see in the pictures I attached. The gum on the floor has been there over a week at least. The toilet has been broke for months, one almost empty hand soap for four sinks and you’re lucky if ever any toilet paper. This is not only disgusting but is a huge sanitary and germ issue. I hear they’re looking at moving to another location but still have keep things up and clean. The A/C has been an issue for a while as well.

I wish I could add partial stars because 5 is too many and 4 is too few; so I went with 5.

Day pass is ten bucks. Reasonable. Staff is friendly, big bonus there.

Equipment is standard fare or sometimes slightly better. Some nice stuff like a couple pretty good barbells, straps if you forgot yours, a couple random micro plates.

Machines seem old but well maintained.

They have a dedicated sled area? Cool! The carpet is ripped up and makes using the sled with enough weight near impossible... not cool.

Weight vests? Yep. Several options for machine handles? That too, but they're not great quality.

Overall I like this gym a lot (9/10). It more than suits the needs and wants of nearly anyone but a serious lifter may find some things to be desired.

Great place and I genuinely love working out here! It is a super clean and updated facility and has great customer service. It's not usually crowded in the mornings, and the equipment is well cleaned and maintained. My only drawback is just to be sure to check the fine print on your contracts. When I moved and had to cancel, I was told to submit a form but kept getting charged for the next 2 months. After I called, I realized I had signed up for a 2-year contract, and I had to pay a fee to get released from the contract.
But if you are looking to stay somewhere for a while, I would definitely recommend this place!

Was looking for gym that wouldn’t break the bank for a day pass ($15) and also had a trap bar which was surprising hard to find. I went in to do a special program of 6 weeks & while there I signed my gf up to attend with me. Just a few days after that I had a heart attack. I have been in contact with Matt, and he's been very helpful & sympathetic
of my condition. I am to go in Monday for a triple bypass & mitral valve replacement. Matt has forwarded my messages to Stephanie, The owner. But she hasn't got back to me telling anything herself. I asked to get refunded the money I put on my card for the 2 of us. FINALLY today Matt reported I was getting acrefund....but not my gf. I only signed her up to go with me, and she not sign any papers, just me. This is bad Customer relations to not refund all the money I paid. My gf does not want to go to a place she's never even seen. I think it's only fair Stephanie refund the remaining $300 that I paid for my gf to attend with me.

I opted to test out this gym. As anticipated based on the reviews I had read, the equipment at this place certainly displays signs of wear and tear. Nevertheless, the level of cleanliness in the locker room is rather disconcerting. One of the stalls was covered in feces, there was an overflowing urinal filled with urine, and the sink had dried vomit on it. It is possible that there are no trash cans in the locker room, but regardless, this is unacceptable. Surprisingly, this was discovered after an employee had supposedly conducted a cleanliness inspection. I would suggest refraining from using the shower here and waiting until you return home.

FRAUD! The gym owner, Stephanie, is completely worthless and so is her staff. They cannot be trusted with your bank information. I had called to cancel my membership and even asked if I need to come in and sign anything to make sure my membership was canceled- a month later I get charged (and an additional service fee). I call again to get refunded and was met with attitude by manger and owner. simply disgusting.

The owner used to be married to a guy who ran the place very well, but when they split up it went downhill fast.
Considering the owner has so many kids by so many different fathers- I should have known she wasn’t an honest person. sad.

Military family home for a few months between moves. Wife went in to re-join (were members 2 years ago) and told them she’d be there 3 months and asked for best option for membership. Texas Fitt signed her up month to month with enrollment fee and annual fee, coming out to over $450 for the 3 months. When I called, sales manager said she could have signed up and paid for 3 months in full, with no enrollment fee or annual fee (would’ve been only $120 for 3 months), but wouldn’t refund anything. Really upset with treatment of our family even after we told them our exact situation and we should’ve been charged $300 less.

Pretty chill gym and one of the only in the city with an actual good free weight area. Plenty of squat racks and open space where I can deadlift or practice the Olympic lifts (snatch, clean & jerk) in peace, which is why I initially got a membership here. Hard to find a place to do power cleans!

There are fans so better airflow than other local gyms which is nice.

Gym is pretty friendly towards Powerlifting, olympic weightlifting and crossfit + okay with chalk(!) So long as you pick up after yourself and don't make a mess. Dropping barbell weights (deadlift/ jerk/ clean) seems fine so long as you aren't bar spiking and being a general walnut about it. Be considerate/read the room.

I see a lot of people complaining about "old" equipment, and I take it they've never stepped foot in any gym other than lifetime?
The equipment is almost all hammer strength or vintage nautilus which is such a damn treasure lol. Great barbell selection (2 womens 15kg bars!)
Bathroom is fine
Upstairs area is nice to stretch out amd warm up at.
I really enjoy this gym. Its relaxed and caters to everyone.
My only "complaint" is some barbell's sleeves of the bars becoming stuck/gritty as the bushings/bearings accumulate dirt; the gym doesnt open til 10am on sundays. I always wanna go at 9am lol!
They could probably use at least one more bench rack, and I'd cream my jorts if they were to get a reverse hyper and nautilus pullover machine, but they've got everything else.
Much better though than any chain gym in the area and more affordable than a powerlifting gym, my gf and I pay somewhere around $75/mo for 2 memberships and texas FITT has AC! So 5 stars :)
