We have been coming to Texas Royals for 8 months now and we love coming here. It’s a small family friendly gym and my daughter has learned so much. We love Coach Zoe, she has so much patience and expects a lot out of our girls. She takes the time to correct them and praises them when they learn a new skill. Kristin - the owner is amazing! She has been so helpful and goes out of her way to work with me anytime it’s needed.

Paid a deposit for a uniform I never received. In February 2024 the owner gave my daughter uniform to a replacement. The owner has not responded to text or refunded me my money. I have now taken legal action and filed criminal charges . My daughter worked for her and wasn’t paid for all her times . Enclosed receipt of the uniform she states I never ordered and paid for the bullshit excuse she kept giving . Since I didn’t pay for a uniform refund me my $240 I keep receipts and I’m the wrong person to play with . We can take this to court and I can continue with filing charges for theft since I didn’t receive my items you swear you would have by Chinese new year . I think Coach will be the better option because just like you don’t pay for your coaches I’m sure I won’t get my $240 back .

My daughter has enjoyed being a part of the level 2 and level 6 non tumbling team. This year, for level 6, they worked hard and accomplished their goal and made it to World's Orlando of 2024.

Texas Royals Cheer has moved to Tomball. She has a new beautiful gym where the kids love to be. Emelyn is World's certified! Yes, we made it to WORLDS on our level six team and we love it !! Everyone is so helpful and they help teach the girls new stunts and tumbling skills!

I have been at Texas Royals Cheer for one season and I can personally say that my girls love it. The Owner is always so happy and outgoing! She is always trying her best to make everyone feel at home but some people are a little psycho and dont like it when the owner has to be neutral.

I signed my daughter up May 2023 and we stayed for a couple months. However I dropped her from the team due to lack of communication and skill teaching. The “coaches” never demonstrated what to do when teaching them skills like cartwheels, rolls, back bends and etc. I felt that it was a very unsafe environment for my 4 year old and I feared her and her team mates would get hurt. Also we started in a gym then went to a dance studio. It seems lack of organization from the owner. It was very hard to get into contact with owner and she wasn’t there most of the time. We also started as a big team and little by little everyone dropped out over these same reasons. To the point the team was dissolved. I would recommend viewing other cheer organizations in the area and actually go watch the teams perform and make sure they have an actual gym to practice in.

I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately wasn’t a fit for my daughter. I found the coaches ill equipped to work with children which makes sense since they all appeared rather young but I also did not like that they didn’t first demonstrate to the kids what a cart wheel, hand stand etc looked like before the children were expected to do them. I just thought it would make more sense to show what the end goal looked like first. That said, The main reason we pulled out is that their approach to behavior management is not aligned with my values. They would single girls out to run laps or do push ups if they felt they weren’t performing up to standard, (reminder that these girls are between 3-5 years)and this made my daughter feel uncomfortable. I also thought it dangerous that they wanted these girls to run laps in a small room where another older team is performing walkovers and cartwheels where the younger kids can get kicked in the face by the older team. I feel this place may work for older kids with prior experience but I don’t think the training is in place for the handling of younger kids. In my head I thought signing up for this class would help with my daughters confidence but in experiencing the class, I found that this may do the opposite for her. I’m being nice with my review, there were a couple other red flags but the above reasons were my main concerns.

Was excited about getting my daughter enrolled in both cheer and tumbling and had a few issues with kids being kids and treating the not so advanced less than. My reason for leaving was the unprofessional way of how the staff acted towards my concerns about my child being toppled over by multiple kids twice her age and size. When I went to address the situation, that no one deemed as a concern, I was greeted by laughter and coaches turning their backs to me. l paid for services and if they would have been more sincere towards my daughter being trampled in a poorly supervised game, I would have not been so quick to pull her out of all classes. The owner offered an apology, after I called and informed her of my concerns, but when my husband tried to reach out, there was no reply and unfortunately the damage was already done. The topping on the cake was after 2 days of no reply, my husband was informed our 6 year old was banned, when I didn't make a scene and removed her from facility, so it wouldn't put a damper on other students and parents experience. So my kid gets injured and laughed at by faculty and is banned? Trying to figure out how that makes sense?! If you enjoy wasting your time and money, then this is the spot for you.

We have been at Texas Royals Cheer for over 3 years and are so glad we joined. We were welcomed in with friendly faces and felt like family as soon as we walked in. Even my son loves being there while his sister is at practice. All the coaches are very nice and knowledgeable about the sport and just make being there fun. We love TRC!!

I love Texas royals cheer, I cheered here since the day it opened. I was on original gems and the owner was more than welcoming to me by showing her true passion for the sport and by creating a family like atmosphere. Some of the reviews I’ve seen definitely do not demonstrate the love Texas royals shows to each and every one of their athletes/ families. I highly recommend attending this cheer gym because if you’re looking for small family oriented business this is the place for you!!

Overall my family had a very bad experience with this gym. We came in looking to be helpful in anyway possible, for our daughters to get into a team activity, and meet other kids in our area. Very shortly after starting the layers began peeling and what seemed like a nice smaller gym was really a poorly run, poorly managed, and unorganized mess. I personally helped try to bring life to the business and went out of my way to fund parties, treats, and even trophies for the girls so they would feel special and like part of a winning team. All of this while the owner would delegate any and every responsibility to anyone she could and never once did anything more than get payment and now I'm reading through all these comical childish reviews from her and her family and I really am disturbed and happy we moved on even more. Its the blind leading the blind over there and this isn't just bashing the owner its unfortunately is just the facts, we had heard about her throughout the community and didn't want to believe it but now after she showed us her true colors over and over this was the last straw, dont bite the hand that feeds you and you won't lose business. Remember its unorganized, extremely poorly ran, and drama for sure.

My daughter and I love this gym! When we moved here, we looked around for a place for her to continuing competitive cheer and we came across this gym in Tomball. From the minute we walked through the door we have felt welcomed and supported. The owner of the gym was friendly and very accommodating - she instantly welcomed us and gave my daughter a free trial period and there were no fees for try outs even though we arrived after season tryouts had happened. The coaches are fantastic and so good with my daughter and all of the kids. The gym owner, will help you however she can - she tries hard to make everyone happy. Also if you want to find an affordable cheer gym in this area, look no further - the fees are very inclusive. We love this gym and it has been a blessing for us being new to the area - couldn't ask for a better place!

Very great gym, when I first arrived here last year I was accepted instantly and they made me feel like it was one big family. The Coaches are very understanding and although I had injuries from the pass they helped me work around them and made sure I was safe and helped me get stronger. The gym owner has always had my back and has always been very accommodating and helpful. I would suggest this gym to anyone who wanted to feel like part of a team family!

My daughters have been attending Tumbling at TRC for 2 years off and on due to other activities. The place is clean, inviting and we love it. They welcome us and treat us like family. The prices can’t be beat and the coaching staff is on point. It has been a great experience and my girls have come so far.
